I took a peak at their printed dinner menu before deciding to enjoy dine-in service. The regular menu offerings including Turkish & Ottoman grilled dishes, Turkish dishes, pan cook dishes, kebabs, stuffed dough. rolls, plus burgers, quesadillas, pasta, burgers, and desserts. The prices in the restaurant seemed pretty reasonable. I decided on the Oregano Chicken ($15.99) served with penne pasta and mixed greens salad. After I ordered, several complementary small plates of cold appetizers (pickled cabbages & veggies, kofta), and a basket of warm bread were brought out. These plated apps and the bread were very filling and tasty and I barely had room for my main meal. The main plate had tender boneless chicken pieces smothered in a creamy mushroom, green/red pepper sauce with creamy pesto penne and a green salad of arugula & tomatoes. The chicken and pasta were served very hot and the cream sauces were very rich and filling. After I finished, I paid for the meal at the front register and was given a discount for paying cash. Overall, this Turkish restaurant was a nice surprise stop for an impromptu dinner. I was originally planning to go to a sushi restaurant for dinner, but then I decided last minute to try something different. Yet another strip plaza gem!

I ordered the Fifties Diner Special, which came with 2 eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, rye toast, and two pancakes. Everything was excellent. The home fries arrived hot, the eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, the bacon was crisp, and the sausages were large and flavorful. The rye toast was already buttered, which was a nice touch. The pancakes were especially impressive--fluffy, moist, and served with four soft butter pats and plenty of syrup. The coffee was served in the classic old-fashioned white restaurant mugs, which added to the diner's nostalgic charm. My wife ordered the meat omelet, and it did not disappoint. It was huge, packed with meat, hot, cheesy, and cooked perfectly. The food, service, and overall experience were outstanding. After many years of visiting, this was easily our favorite meal at the Fifties Diner.

Yes, he's the chef who cooked for President Obama twice, but what impresses me most isn't the celebrity connection. It's his commitment to seasonality, sustainability, and the people behind the food. Chef Momo doesn't just buy ingredients--he builds relationships. He visits local farms, works directly with producers, and supports local businesses throughout Western Massachusetts. That philosophy is the heart and soul of bNapoli. This time, my favorite dish was the Hamachi Crudo. Thin slices of yellowtail, cured with salt, sugar, and citrus zest, floated in an orange acqua pazza so vibrant it tasted like sunshine meeting the sea. Clean, delicate, and beautifully balanced. The squid tonnarelli was equally memorable. Tender squid folded into house-made pasta with a lemon tomato sugo simmered for three hours, enriched with lobster stock, Calabrian chilies, crab, and shrimp. Rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. My daughter's favorite showcased Chef Momo's creativity at its finest. Using a pâte à choux-based dough, he achieved a texture that seemed to defy gravity--ethereally light, impossibly pillowy, and delicate enough to disappear on the tongue. Paired with sweet roasted corn, asparagus, lemon crema, and crispy basil, the dish tasted like summer distilled into a single plate. As an Asian female chef, I couldn't help but reflect on how underrepresented chefs of color remain in fine dining. Some of the most talented chefs I've met throughout my career deserve greater recognition, and Chef Momo is certainly one of them. His food speaks for itself--thoughtful, elegant, technically precise, and deeply rooted in community. I start reading about this spot, Student Prince is an authentic German restaurant. I speak fluent beer so my choice is now made up. The Jägerschnitzel is a big cutlet, there is a lot of food on my plate. I take a bite of Jägerschnitzel along with some sauerkraut. I take it slow and I was able to knock it all out. The Jägerschnitzel was very good, this is a fantastic spot. The restaurant feels very authentic, from the booths to the bar, they did a great job in recreating a German pub. My waitress kept coming over to make sure I'm ok. She told me to make some room because the Strudel shouldn't be missed. I'm told it's also topped with vanilla ice cream.
