This was a takeout order. We found that two kebab plates are enough to feed four people. Originally we were going to order two mixed grill plates, but since each one only comes with one lamb chop, it would've been awkward trying to split everything evenly. Instead, we ordered the Grilled Mixed Chicken Plate and the Adana Kebab Entrée, which worked out much better for sharing. The meats were all juicy and cooked really well. I liked that each one had its own seasoning and preparation, so nothing tasted repetitive. The tomato could've used a little more char, but the grilled pepper was good. Both the white rice and bulgur were solid, and the pita was really good. I do wish the plates came with some kind of sauce to tie everything together, and I think a small side salad would've rounded out the meal nicely. One thing I did notice was the complimentary bread. It used to be better. Looking back at pictures from a few years ago, it used to be much better. Overall though, it was a good meal and everyone was satisfied. read more

The only thing that could stop me from continuously eating was the risk of growing horizontally, like Snorlax. But it was worth adjusting my belt a notch. I recommend the mixed cold appetizer (great with the free bread) and for an entree, the Doner Platter. I'd also recommend ordering family style as the portions are pretty big. The complimentary basket of warm crispy bread was fantastic, and might have been the culprit for why we have many leftovers for our to-go box. Both come with lemon to squeeze. These are big and they're just a small! For Skye's salad, she's having the Saray Piyaz made with Fantastico white kidney beans, chopped onions , parsley , red & green peppers topped with olive oil dressing. It's heavy, but otherwise see the above comments. For our soup , we each trying the lentil soup made with a blend of red lentil with Turkish seasoning and fresh herbs. This is good! The flavor is unique. As usual, it comes with a lemon . This place must go through s lot of lemons ! For our appetizer, we are having the Babaganush/Humus appetizer combo. Humus made with chickpeas blended with sesame paste sauce (tahini), garlic , olive oil and cumin. The Babagubush is roasted eggplant purée blended with olive oil, yogurt, lemon juice, tahini sauce and herbs. For my entree, I'm having the Grilled Mixed Chicken with white rice, cracked Bulgur rice (tastes like light tomato ), grilled long hot pepper (this is as strong as a jalapeño) and a grilled plum tomato . This entree is a combination of Chicken Adana Kabab (chicken breast and thighs chopped with red peppers, garlic and seasonings), Chicken Kofte Kebab (chunks of chicken breast and thigh seasoned and blended with garlic and parsley), Chicken Shish Kabab (chunks of chicken breast marinated in a special sauce then grilled on skewers) and Chicken Pirzola (chicken thighs marinated in a special sauce). This is a fantastically delicious dish! For dessert , I'm having the Kadayif which is shredded filo dough wrapped in pistachio nuts and topped with syrup. This is very good! I wasn't sure what to expect from the looks on the outside, but after passing the many outdoor tables nested under a large tent, the indoors welcomed us with many wide, comfortable booths. Service was prompt and pleasant, and we didn't feel out of place in a restaurant that was a bit outside of our normal palate. They have lots of different types of kebabs, and offer several vegetarian dishes as well. I don't personally eat lamb, so we sampled some of the other dishes. The feta/filo appetizer was quite delicious and lightly fried. I would recommend getting some of the dill dip that comes with the zucchini patties (super good!). This was an impulsive stop after a trip to a nearby park, and I would definitely recommend it. It was so pleasant that we are planning on going back and trying some of the other kebabs or fish offerings, as well as some of the teas. Always excellent! We like to get samplers of appetizers and entrees, which is more than enough for two adults and a toddler. We typically order for pickup, and our food is usually ready within 20 minutes. Everyone I've spoken to over the phone is so nice and helpful. The food is always perfection, truly. Many of the waiters and staff a from Turkey and the atmosphere just brings you right in. We had the Doner kabob and chicken shush kabob. Both meals were just excellent! Our server--realizing that this was our first time there--took time to explain the dishes and answer questions. It was a Saturday evening, so no small task. First time I have tried this restaurant. I met a friend one afternoon for lunch. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. We split the Shepherds Salad and it was deliciously fresh with great flavor. My entrée was the sautéed veggies and chicken dish which arrived sizzling in a pan. Absolutely yummy!
