Food was authentic and fresh! Delicious. It was my first visit. My friend got the hamburger it was the size of a large plate. Omg.

This is a small take out only mom and pop business. They have a parking lot. After parking you can walk to the window and pick up food. Order atleast 30 minutes in advance. Znoud dessert was my favorite here. Surprisingly they make is fresh after you place the order, and it takes about 35 minutes to make this dessert. So don't try to walk to the window and order dessert. Znoud came as a set of 12, and hot out of oven. Essentially it is cheese rolled in dough and fried, then topped with sugar syrup and pistachios. I kept left over in the fridge and took a couple of days later. Then heated in oven at the lowest setting (170 F) for 30 mins. It came out well. Saj Chicken Sharma and Saj Beef Shawarma were my entrees. Beef Shawarma was slightly better. But both were good. Actually I ordered Beef sharma plate, but got saj beef shawarma. Oh wow!!! The food is amazing, delicious, and fresh!!!! My husband bought the beef shawarma and we got two orders of Kanafa (my favorite pastry) and an order of Znoob. Our minds were blown at how delicious and homemade fresh it was. The young lady and gentleman that was working were so sweet and kind and very patient with us. They were very welcoming. The place is an outdoor eatery where you order at the window. We thought it was cute. One of my favorite places to eat in Springfield. I will miss them when I have to go back to Florida. read more

I'm from Boston and I don't have a lot of options for Iraqi foods, I visited this great place to eat a traditional iraqi foods, everything was delicious, I tried the burger sandwich it was nicely done. And I'm willing to try the Shawarma too. Customer service and the food are 10/10. Will definitely visit again when I come back! read more

Very good food had a chicken shawarma on pita bread and bbq lamb dinner both were excellent shawarma has a pickle makes it tangy but good...lamb was cooked will come with pita bread rice and a grilled tomato and onion...the grilled onion is just a takeout spot but family owned and fresh food at very reasonable prices can't beat it read more

Awful customer service especially the women who works there, she has no idea how to treat her customers. Always having that bad attitude with us. Like why would treat your customers like that? There's a thousand of good and way better restaurants than yours. Unbelievable women never smile or positive energy. I don't like her at all and I won't be there at all. So racist and disrespectful customer service. My family and friends used to go there but they stopped because of her attitude and bad customer service. Your customers don't need but you need them to make money and live. There's a lot of restaurants who treats their customers better than you. TV feature worthy. It is a tiny spot but the food is incredible. We visited with friends from Connecticut and we drove for almost an hour to get here. It was well worth it. The Saj and lamb is to die for. The desserts are great as well. read more
