The Deli We ordered 3 sandwiches online at 2:09pm for a 2:45pm pick up. Got there at 2:50pm and the sandwiches were not ready. The sandwiches were not even being made yet. Waited 25 minutes for them to be made. They were not worth the wait. They were bland and dry. The onion had no flavour. The store it's self is really nice and the staff are friendly. It's August 21st, 2023 @ 6:40pm, A female employee that might've just clocked out, tall, drives a black GMC ACADIA SUV displayed one of the most unprofessional feats I've ever seen at a grocery store. She yelled from the back of a parking lot signaling another employee to grab a cart that was left in the back of the lot near Washington BLVD. mind you, this man with glasses had already been by the entrance & this woman as yelling at the top of her lungs like she was searching for Wilson in Castaway. Just a few questions: 1. You're a Publix employee. If you had any decency, you'd help your fellow coworkers, not yell at them with your disgusting demeanor. Why couldn't you help your fellow coworker when the cart was just a car's length away? 2. If you treat your team members like that, I can't imagine how you treat customers when everyone's back is turned. Do you have a history in contributing to negative work environment/culture? 3. I've seen you honk at Senior Citizens that drive in their Buicks. You do not give them enough time to think in the parking lot, why do you think it's necessary to honk at senior citizens when they're trying to find a parking lot? What's really in question here is if she has the common decency to even work at Publix. What can I say? It's publix, lol. The cakes are amazing. A friend made me a believer. Also, being from Philly their Italian rolls are very close to Amoroso rolls. Which are needed for a great cheesesteak. The store is always clean and the staff always courteous. read more

I come here when I want a delicious Publix sub or some fried chicken. The shopping center is super convenient and close to my house. They also offer specialty items you can't always find elsewhere. I don't do my weekly shopping here though because the prices are higher than other grocery stores. Recently found a cute 4th of July summer dress in here. That was a surprise! read more

In my search for etouffe mix around Evans I struck gold at this particular Publix. First off I want to say the workers at Publix are great as a person who was stocking went out of his way to check to see if they had the mix. In many places people have no idea when I say etouffe to them and ask if I am sure if I know what I am looking for. I get the impression that if people have never heard of it they don't bother to check if it is in stock. This was far from the case at Publix as they knew what I was talking about and checked to see if the mix was in stock. To my surprise it was and plenty. I bought a couple in my basket for future use. Publix is amazing! It would be comparable to a Safeway, like higher end, good quality stuff here! Also, with it being flu shot season, the Publix pharmacy is giving out a ten dollar Publix gift card for anyone who receives their flu shot there. And if you have insurance the shot itself will either be free or at very little cost to you. I have Tricare so it was completely covered. I walked in, filled out a piece of paper, waited a few minutes, got the shot, got the gift card, and was on my way! They have a really good deli at Publix that makes better subs than Subway, PubSubs they're called. They bake the bread fresh in the morning and they use Boars Head meat, not the cheap meats that most other delis use. With the aforementioned ten dollar gift card I got for letting the pharmacist play flu shot darts on my left arm, I went right over to the deli and got a PubSub, a bag of chips, and a soda! The sub was so big that was my lunch for two days. Whoever says there's no such thing as a free lunch obviously doesn't know about Publix. The reason I've deducted one star is because this place is a little pricier than I think it should be. I mean they sell really good quality products, but like the milk is the same milk they sell at Walmart so why is it so much more expensive? read more

I told Bradley light on condiments and he lathered them in mustard. Asked for turkey and got two measly slices The publix in SC were way better and actually made you real sandwiches. A wonderful store that has impeccable customer service! Due to an unfortunate incident, I no longer frequent a competitor and have fully switched to Publix. This location is close to my home and offers a great shopping experience. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. If I have trouble finding an item I ask and an employee is more than willing to personally walk me to the item. During checkout they assist with getting my items onto the belt. After payment, a staff member always offers to help me out with my groceries. Top notch service and a pleasure to shop here. Prices are a little bit higher but it is worth it because of the friendly people! They also have great produce and carry my favorite cold brew organic coffee. read more

Love this Publix groceey location! Its super clean. The staff are very helpful no matter the department they work in. I swung by on my lunch break one day and got a spinach wrap and they custom made it for me. It was the best $6 I had spent for lunch! They also carry a great seafood salad in the seafood department, that tastes really good. They will also cut up your produce and let you taste it before purchasing to ensure its the desired quality that you're looking for. Thumbs up!!! read more

This is the first time I ever being in a Publix. I was very surprised of what they have in the market. They have a buffet line and a sandwich shop. The deli worker was very knowledgeable about the deli areas. I did a little shopping at a cheap rates. Don't forget to get they reward card for coupon. This will be my grocery store from now on. I get so giddy about coming to this grocery store. I come from the land of dirty ghetto grocery chains that get bought up and eaten by big sterile megastores. During my first visit to Atlanta, I fell in love with the bright lights and *samples* offered at the Publix in the Virginia Highlands. When looking for a place to live in the area, I was to sure to ask where the nearest grocery stores were 'cause buying ingredients for dinner every other day is kind of the norm for me. I really enjoy hitting up the bakery counter for raspberry pastries and fresh sourdough bread-my two gluten filled vices. Everything is laid out so easily and I'm in and out of the store in no time flat. The aisles are wide, the signs are helpful and I've had more than a few employees help out and walk me to the exact item I'm looking for at times. On one occasion I had a terrible craving for Snyder's chocolate covered peanut butter pretzel sandwiches but didn't know if they were in the candy aisle or the chip aisle or whatever. I usually can only find them in gas stations on huge interstates so when I'm in the mood while at home, I'm between a rock and a hard place for sure. The man stocking the bag chips saw me pacing up and down and asked what I was looking for. I've never had anybody physically get up from stocking shelves to walk me halfway across a store to help me look for chocolate covered peanut butter bites. It just blew me away. People may take that kind of service for granted but I'm not used to it at all and Publix has definitely won me over with that kind of service! I love their fresh produce selection the best as well. It's hard to get a wide selection here like I used to get back home where fresh markets and vegetable markets are aplenty. I will admit that I kind of miss finding the odd exotic fruit but getting my staples are good enough for now. I recently moved to GA when my mom was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and this was the closest grocery store to mom's house. As it turns out, it is hands-down the finest and friendliest store of its type that I have ever shopped with. The store itself is spotless. The arrangement of the produce, meat, deli, bakery and dry goods isles are easily identified and logically laid out, making it a breeze to find the items you need. They carry a vast array of non-food items as well, including cooking supplies, magazines, cards, toys, seasonal items, camping and BBQ basics and even a few fishing poles and supplies. The produce is fresh and the meat/seafood counter never has that dead fish smell that is so common in many supermarkets. They have the best California strawberries and California Roll sushi I have ever eaten, and I spent 30 years in CA! The deli shelves are groaning with high-quality Boars Head meats and cheeses, and there is a section for prepared hot foods as well. The floral area of this particular Publix is rather small, but I seldom buy flowers so it's not an issue for me. The bakery is small but absolutely delightful and made more so by amazing ladies that work there. They were a tremendous support to me when my mom was dying, and I can't even begin to express how it made me feel to be greeted by name and even hugged on days when I was so low and sad and missing my family 2500 miles away in CA. And yes...that famous Publix buttercream frosting is good enough to eat with a spoon! I have a small service dog and everyone in the store adores her. For some reason, Hobbie even loves this store. She will actually fall asleep in the cart as I wheel her around; the atmosphere is that calm and inviting. And the staff? Friendly. Courteous. Helpful. Absolutely delightful. They unload your cart, pack your groceries, take them to the car for you and load them. Grocery shopping has always been my most dreaded chore but those days are no more now that I have found Publix. If you are ever in the area of a Publix store, stop on in even if you don't need anything, and see for yourself what a grocery store should look and operate like. This is the *most gorgeous grocery store* I have ever shopped! The service was even better. First off, a bakery lady asked if my daughter could have a cookie. (Changed her life and got us through half the store in silence!) At the end, a "box boy" emptied my cart onto the checkout conveyor, packed it all back in, and pushed it to the car and unloaded it for me! I felt like I was in a perfect grocery utopia. Where shopping is a pleasure! Now I know why this is the tagline for Publix. I believe I literally have a bonus card for every supermarket in the Southeast. So I've visited quite a few grocery stores. I like Publix a lot! This is the best chain supermarket in the area. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I don't visit Publix often because it's not on my side of town, but when I can stop in, I do. I don't always remember where everything is located and when I get a little lost there's always a staff member around to help. The store is really neat and well organized. They have the best produce around and the bakery makes the best cakes. No other supermarket makes cakes like Publix. They have this great whipped icing that I love. I've never had to wait for an order that was placed with the bakery or deli. They always have my order ready for pick up. Also, the deli offers really great food choices. You can drop in and get a sub sandwich, chicken salad or platters for parties. Anytime I have a gathering that requires light snacks, this is where I go. The parking is awesome and the parking lot never has roaming shopping carts, which means the shopping carts are in store! This grocery store gives me a hometown feel. Yesterday Christmas Eve December 24 I purchased 2 bottles of Heinz zesty cocktail sauce 12 ounce bottles. Unfortunately My Christmas dinner was somewhat ruined because both bottles wright off the shelf never opened were moldy and dried at stop of the bottle. Not only did we find items we had been searching for that day but also a 2 items I couldn't find over the last 2 weeks. The staff here has amazing customer service. They accidentally messed up the amount of cupcakes to make on my daughters party order- but immediately corrected the issue with a smile and told me it was free of charge. Customer service also smiled and said so sorry for the error those are on us. Hope your daughters bday is great! In a situation that could have been bad they were truly so accommodating. I have been a Publix shopper for years. The staff at this location have always been very attentive, and helpful. Today I went to this Publix for a few items. I found all the packages of fresh spinach tortellini (4) on the refrigerator shelf, out of date by 2 weeks. There were also 6 or so packets of Gatorade chews which the best buy date was February 2018, 1 packet dated November 2017. I took the items to the customer service counter. The customer service representative was very apologetic. I will continue to shop at this Publix. However, I will keep an eye out for the expiration dates. read more

Probably the friendliest grocery staff I have ever encountered.

I love Publix. My wife & I shop there a lot. However, this afternoon, I had an experience that is somewhat alarming & quite exasperating. I bought 3 half gallon size bottles of bleach, put the bags containing them in the floorboard of my car and headed home. One of the bottles turned over on its side almost immediately, no big deal, right? When I got home, took the bags out, went inside, and took the bottles of bleach out, the inside of the bag was very wet. The seal on one of the bottles of bleach was loose. Backtracking, I found a trail of bleach from my car to the kitchen sink where I took the bleach out of the bag. Word to the wise: if you buy Publix brand bleach, which I like because of its high strength (8.25%), make sure you have somewhere to secure it in an upright position for the trip home because the quality of closure is extremely poor. My wife said she has experienced the same problem before, so it is not an isolated experience. read more
