Some other shady individuals (whose pants were sagging) all were conjugating outside the entrance. One of them said to me, "Who you looking at N-slur." Another one asked, "What you have in the (grocery) bag N-slur" When I got to my car one of them was walking towards my car. Now I don't know if he was going to do anything, but the whole thing felt extremely sketchy. I wouldn't want to come back to the store unless they had some sort of security to keep thugs and rift-raft out. Because unless you want to be mugged, shopping here isn't a great investment!

On my most recent visit, I purchased shredded cheese and Tomato Pico de Gallo because we were having quesadillas for dinner. Well... the pico had to have an entire jalapeño in it, seeds and all, and I am not the spicy food type. Even with that, my only complaint is that the package should have said HOT! I ended up removing most of the jalapeño, added some salt, lime juice, and chopped up a few frozen shrimp I purchased (at Aldi), and made a fake ceviche. AND!! I've never had an issue with any meats purchased. Just an observation though. The prices on average are a bit higher than Walmart on staple items like dairy and meats. IMHO, the meats are way overpriced on most items. Even compared to Publix, I find the meats to be higher priced at Kroger. The produce section is usually stocked with fresh items. No complaints at all. Their strawberries always seem to be the best quality I can find compared to Walmart or Publix. Same with the blueberries , and other berries. LAstly, I like that their mobile phone app lets you build your shopping list and claim coupons right in the app before you go to shop. It is bigger and nicer-looking than I was expecting, and I was surprised with what I found, including some nice brands of niche items like banana milk and my red beans and rice of choice. The way their prices are displayed has small text and a lot of signs for things that don't really matter, so it's hard to tell what's actually on sale and what you're paying for. I was a bit surprised that they had no self-checkout, but even on a Sunday I found an old-fashioned checkout lane and had my stuff bagged for me, so it was a reasonably successful shopping experience.
