    The eggs price,
    Rhoda H.

I was in Publix,I shop at other stores also. But I call Publix the store for the rich and famous.A dozen eggs $5.99/18eggs 8.99 Publix brand. They must be the golden eggs. But I have to admit they have some good prices on buy one get one free ,and quality meats but high dollar.Very helpful employees.I know food is high but other stores the 18 eggs are at $5.38,12eggs at $3.38 in that price range,so why are Publix eggs so high?

Like most Publix stores Fury Ferry location gives great customer services with friendly smiles. The store is well kept and always have fresh produce. However, this review is mainly about the ladies in the Bakery department. They were eager to provide the custom cake my 16 year old requested. Very satisfied with the cake. It was the icing on the cake for this special day. I know corny. Lol. Did not come with topper. Bought from Etsy.

    Nice and open.

CONSISTENCY IS APPRECIATED! After having a lackluster breakfast that did not include vegetables, I immediately started looking for a Publix where I knew that I would be able to get a nice bowl of soup and some protein. This store popped up on my Yadar and it was the perfect antidote. I was able to get some spring vegetable soup and three of the grilled Fiesta wings. This perfectly hit the spot and I was able to continue on with my day! I absolutely love the idea of vegetable soup for breakfast because it is healthy and satisfying. I really appreciate the fact that Publix always has a fresh vegetable soup option available on their soup bar. When I initially entered the store, I noticed the demo booth and went over to ask the young lady about her products. She had fresh zucchini and summer squash with sliced sausages in a vinaigrette and it was delicious. I made my husband get one so that he could hand it over but it actually ate most of it after telling me that he didn't want one because of his heavy breakfast. Anyway, the veggies were crisp and the dish was well seasoned. I took a recipe card so that I could replicate this dish later. The ladies who work in this area were very polite and service oriented. Overall, the store was clean and orderly and our check out time was minimal.

    I wanted something sweet!!

The prices are definitely steep, even in comparison to somewhere like Publix. Whilst in the store, I saw several shady individuals smoking inside with backpacks on. Yet management didn't do anything about them. The second I exited the store I felt like I was going to get mugged. Some other shady individuals (whose pants were sagging) all were conjugating outside the entrance. One of them said to me, "Who you looking at N-slur." Another one asked, "What you have in the (grocery) bag N-slur" When I got to my car one of them was walking towards my car. Now I don't know if he was going to do anything, but the whole thing felt extremely sketchy. I wouldn't want to come back to the store unless they had some sort of security to keep thugs and rift-raft out. Because unless you want to be mugged, shopping here isn't a great investment!

So when I say I have frequented this Kroger location for almost the entirety of my 15 years in Augusta, that means something. I will also note that means I stuck with them through the early waves of COVID-19, as they had already implemented curbside pickup months before the statewide shut down. I have seen the location go through major renovations, including product placement and the increase of self-checkout lanes. But some things (and very important ones at that) have remained the same. The customer service here is universally top notch. From team members who bring out your groceries and load them in the trunk to the person overseeing self-checkout to the pharmacy, they are always helpful, patient, and kind. My interaction with the bakery has been minimal, but it too has always been a positive experience. I appreciate their overall selection, their organic-all natural options, and yes even their clearance section (it's like a treasure hunt every time I visit). One item I feel is underappreciated is their in-house sushi. You can get a single roll (only $5 on Wednesday's) or order an entire tray. Quality at a great pice. Also worth mentioning is their NA options. Samuel Adams, Guinness, Athletic Brewing, and Hop Water are all there. I will be coming here until the day I depart Augusta.

I'm not sure why it closed or if Harvey's the new supermarket is taking over Bi-Lo locations. The setup seemed the same, but of course the branding was different. They had green mostly to match with the outside signage. There was a cafe in the area near the deli/bakery. The pricing seemed a bit higher than Kroger, which is where I usually shop because of the savings and card perks. They did have a section where everything was $1. I didn't browse it since I was in a rush. There is plenty of parking because it is located in a plaza. I don't live anywhere near this grocery store, but I'd visit occasionally if I were in the area.

There was tons of buzz about this place because they have great prices on some things that cost much more around town. For instance, I picked up two packs of bone-in, thick cut pork chops for a little over $3. It was about 7 in each pack. You couldn't beat that price with a stick!!! There were tons of other deals around the store but, that was just an example of how this store was needed for the budget conscious consumer like myself!!!! They also have a $1 aisle were there are all types of things that are $1 each. I've heard some of my friends already say they will never shop anywhere else for groceries again. I'm not going to say that because I can find deals almost anywhere I shop. This store also redeem and reward you with the Plenti rewards program. I was already a member of that program so I didn't have to sign up, but if you're not it's a breeze to do so. This place is definitely one to check out and see what kind of amazing deals you can find for yourself!!!
