This Grocery store is very unique! It is cool to see a bar, a restaurant, and a Starbucks in a grocery store. Though, that's about it for compliments. The prices are definitely steep, even in comparison to somewhere like Publix. Whilst in the store, I saw several shady individuals smoking inside with backpacks on. Yet management didn't do anything about them. The second I exited the store I felt like I was going to get mugged. Some other shady individuals (whose pants were sagging) all were conjugating outside the entrance. One of them said to me, "Who you looking at N-slur." Another one asked, "What you have in the (grocery) bag N-slur" When I got to my car one of them was walking towards my car. Now I don't know if he was going to do anything, but the whole thing felt extremely sketchy. I wouldn't want to come back to the store unless they had some sort of security to keep thugs and rift-raft out. Because unless you want to be mugged, shopping here isn't a great investment! read more

Grocery store with a ton of hot bar options. I tried the pasta bar this trip and made my own bowl. They had multiple toppings and noodle shapes. Mine was pesto, tortellini, and shrimp. It is made in front of you so you can easily customize to fit your desires. They also had customizeable pizza, subs, and rice bowls. And a hot bar with chicken and traditional sides. Tons of flavors to meet your desire. They also have beer on tap! Parking is very simple with a giant lot out front. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outside also has a fire pit and a little mini golf area that I hope to visit in the summer. read more

What an amazing selection. Everything looks so fresh...check out the photos! They have food bars on the left hand side when you walk in and plenty of places to relax and enjoy your meal. Next level stuff... can even get a drink while you are shopping. I tried the pasta bar and you can get whatever you want in there; charged by weight but still cheaper than getting take out from Olive Garden or Carrabas. Prices are a little high compared to other grocery store but there's a sales ad that's released every week so check that out. Well organized and they have a unique beer selection. Some of the premade items are pretty unique and different fin other stores that are similar.... coconut shrimp, oyster Rockefeller... Would recommend checking it out if you're in the area. read more

We love visiting FreshTake and one of the last Yelp events there with Aaron was simply amazing! Despite the weather, we had an epic time, delicious BBQ , great music and giveaways!! I categorize grocery stores in tiers; the neighborhood bodega all the way up to what I call "lifetime supply of toilet paper." So the anticipation of a grocery store opening is not exactly on the level of exhilaration. At best, curiosity tickled a little. But, this one in particular was opening in the former space of a Whole Foods thus I knew 1) the space to fill was substantial and 2) they were also promoting the use of the outdoor space (formerly a burger hut and single hole mini golf setup). Their first day I went for a visit. First off, they filled the space! Now let me clarify and state there is plenty of space to move around (and seating, but I'll get to that). There were literally hundreds of people inside and yet everyone was in motion. I veered to the left and began my journey. Honestly, this was what I mainly came to see. The sushi bar, bakery, beer bar, fresh made pizza and pasta, and sandwich shop are all on that side. I could have bought something from each and still left wanting more. After taking this all in I continued around the perimeter. Here the seafood and meats awaited. And again, there is plenty to choose from. One last stop was the Icebox (refrigerated beer area). This was stocked full of the usual choices, including NA options. The aisles in between held plenty. At some point I just had to head towards the front. There I observed the indoor and outdoor seating (which is on the second floor). The outside hut has been converted to a barbecue spot. Needless to say, I will be back. So many options and only one cart to hold it all. read more

I came here after work and it did not disappoint. The parking lot was full and made me nervous but when you walk inside, it was not crowded as expected. Fruit and vegetable options..great! I picked up what needed for dinners during the week but still walked the entire store to see what options were available for future reference. I am Excited to try the food on the weekends in between running errands. My only let down is that the customer loyalty cards weren't available when I went so I lost out in that days purchase points. Either way, it is so convenient to the I20 on the way home from work how could we not be regulars. read more

Stopped in for a sale and was impressed--everything from the ad was actually in stock, unlike many other places. The store had a great selection, awesome deals, and even some interesting items we didn't plan on buying but couldn't resist. I've been so excitedly waiting for Fresh Take to open. The grocery area is nice! The meat and seafoods section is wow! There are several hot bars -as well as sushi, pizza, a fresh juice bar, my favorite coffee spot Starbucks and delicious pastries . Fantastic grocery store with an impressive array of grab and go prepared food options and a nice bar to have a drink and a nice meal ranging from sushi to steak and beyond. The store had a wide option of organic produce and prime meats. There were also several crates of high end red wine from Napa valley in front of the beer cave. Highly recommend for routine grocery shopping or a quick bite and beverage if you are in the Augusta area. There is a cool putting green outside as well to practice your short game! Nice little grocery store, was really surprised on their inventory and how perfectly stocked all the shelves were.

Thoroughly impressed. The store is CLEAN. The employees are helpful and polite. Is it Walmart cheap? No. But it's not Whole Foods expensive either. I'm super glad that Augusta has another grocery option that's different from the rest. They had some unique items that I liked and haven't seen elsewhere, like Sun Garden Riesling. We sat at the bar at Fresh Take and ordered smoked fish dip, a salad, and a burger. The smoked fish dip was excellent. The dip came with crackers we asked for pita chips instead and the waitress happily obliged. The burger was juicy and cooked as ordered. One thing it was really messy. The salad was terrible. Staff is professional and attentive love it. Update the potato skins are great. I also found out from the staff that you can purchase a steak from the meat department and they will grill it to your taste on site. They also steam seafood for you . read more
