Every time I've gone, they're out of the sale items--even when I stop by the morning the sale starts. Employees don't seem to know what's going on, there's constant yelling over walkie talkies, and the store feels disorganized with items just thrown around. Really disappointing, as Lidl is usually my favorite store, but this location has a lot of room for improvement.

I asked if they had more in the back. The guy went back and then told me that the steaks were in the "line" to be cut and I had to wait for about ten minutes. I have been there several times and I never had to wait for them to cut what they were going to put in the case. I told him I was not going to wait, so we checked out. They lost out on probably $50-$70 or more on a couple of steaks. I couldn't believe that they would not just cut some for me.

So when I say I have frequented this Kroger location for almost the entirety of my 15 years in Augusta, that means something. I will also note that means I stuck with them through the early waves of COVID-19, as they had already implemented curbside pickup months before the statewide shut down. I have seen the location go through major renovations, including product placement and the increase of self-checkout lanes. But some things (and very important ones at that) have remained the same. The customer service here is universally top notch. From team members who bring out your groceries and load them in the trunk to the person overseeing self-checkout to the pharmacy, they are always helpful, patient, and kind. My interaction with the bakery has been minimal, but it too has always been a positive experience. I appreciate their overall selection, their organic-all natural options, and yes even their clearance section (it's like a treasure hunt every time I visit). One item I feel is underappreciated is their in-house sushi. You can get a single roll (only $5 on Wednesday's) or order an entire tray. Quality at a great pice. Also worth mentioning is their NA options. Samuel Adams, Guinness, Athletic Brewing, and Hop Water are all there. I will be coming here until the day I depart Augusta.

Other notable vegetables included some good quality okra and hot peppers. Canned and frozen items were available, though given the climate I expect reasonably good year-round inventory. You'll pay more than at a basic grocery store, but if you really want some nice produce it seems worth it to me. Notably, they have a 3% fee for any card, so it's worth paying in cash.

A natural skincare table, body butters and such. I don't put stuff on my skin so I don't really like having to say no twice, much less 3-4 times. Food smelt really great, I think some of the market was a little picked through, we got there an hour before they closed I think. I flew in, so I wish I would've been able to try this Sea Moss but I couldn't! Can't pack it. I'd go back, I truly think we went on a "smaller" weekend.
