Spicy shrimp pho, taken To-go that's why all of the seasonings are sitting on the top but it's very well incorporated

Here I am with another pho review because by now yall should know pho is the way to my heart and pho 81 is the BEST pho around, sorry Pho Augusta and Pho Viet! First green flag is that you can smell the broth from outside and it smells AMAZING!! It's extremely flavorful and authentic as well. The portions are very generous, I typically have to buy extra noodles at other pho restaurants but not here. But my favorite part is that if you have a beef pho they use a beef broth, seafood pho uses a seafood both, etc. they also make the broth spicy upon request. The service is great and everyone is friendly. The restaurant is clean and absolutely beautiful inside. I've been 4 times already and I've sent my friends

I actually have to say I love this restaurant. And it turns out it was actually closer than I thought. It's located where the funnel cake shop used to be a long time ago. I'm telling you when you look at the menu. You will see plenty of things to choose from for me. Though I am not a pork person and I've seen a lot of pork items on the menu, so I decided to try something out of my comfort zone. So I decided to try the lemongrass chicken, with rice and vegetables and the matcha milk tea. And that is such a wonderful combination. I love how the lemongrass chicken has a bit more of a taste.I would say more of like a sweet and savory taste and I love the fact that it burst out with So much flavor. I am very quite impressed with the service. And the ambience. It was a very quiet night plus there wasn't a lot of people there, so I was able to get my order in and out very quickly. But I highly recommend Pho 81 if you haven't been here yet. Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Next time, i'm gonna make sure to try their pho.

    Crispy shrimp rolls

Food: 8 out of 10 Service: 4.5 out of 5 Atmosphere: 4 out of 5 Price/Value: 4 out of 5 Overall: 4.1 out of 5 Recommendations: Crispy Shrimp Spring Rolls, Rare Steak and Flank Pho (P4) A solid pho place that's recently opened, but the location is not great. Service was really good, and food was delicious but not to the degree that I want to revisit over and over again. However, the portion size is really generous. If you don't eat a lot you might want to share a pho with someone. I feel like the quality of pho is not better than the other places in Augusta. It's kind of far from home, so I think I will just visit places that are closer to me. But if you live nearby it's worth to try.

Crispy rolls. Egg roll appetizer. Comes with two small egg rolls. Was not large enough to share amongst 3 adults.

Saw good reviews online so decided to give this new Vietnamese restaurant a try. The dining area is large and nicely decorated. The chairs at the tables were comfortable and I was pleased to find basic condiments (siracha, hoisin, chili oil) available on each table. The menu is small but has a nice variety of dishes. We originally came planning to enjoy a hot bowl of pho but all ended up being tempted by other dishes. We ordered the egg roll appetizer for the table to share. My husband and I both ordered vermicelli bowls(B1 & B2), our teen ordered the pork chop and egg rice plate (C3). Each of our dishes came with a small side of fish sauce. The serving size of the egg roll appetizer was not large enough for three people to share. Talking flavor they were crispy and delicious. The filling itself was seasoned well and had a very nice meat to vegetables ratio. The entree dishes were all large and well balanced dishes. We all had pork based meals so we can't judge any other proteins, but the pork was fantastic. Tender, juicy, flavorful with just enough char. So good. The fish sauce was also well balanced with sweetness, saltiness and a hint of vinegar to cut through the heaviness of the pork. Our only negative for the entrees was that the vermicelli noodles were a bit overcooked so they were a bit difficult to eat as they broke easily from being too soft. We all also ordered different inks from the beverage menu. Mango milk tea with black boba, brown sugar milk tea with black boba, and strawberry milk tea with popping boba. The milk tea itself was flavorful and tasty but did not stand out in an area with a lot of tea options. The black boba pearls were small and not the most flavorful. The drinks were served in mason jar style mugs that just seemed small and out of place. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive. While we will probably be back and would recommend the food, we did feel that the value for price seemed a bit on the high end for the drinks and appetizers. Service: 5 star Flavor: 4.75 Ambiance: 4 Value: 3.5

    2 egg rolls for 6.99

I got the rare steak pho and the pork egg rolls. The flavor of the food was pretty great and authentic and the service was delightful! All is well in those departments. I only knocked down a star because I felt that the portions were a bit small for how much they were charging. My pho was $16.99 and egg rolls were $6.99. I can't say that you are getting ripped off since the food is good but there are other pho places in the area that charge only a fraction of this for a similar flavor profile. However, that being said, this is some good pho and was extremely comforting on a cold night!

    Bold and Beautiful Pho

I hate to even share this place with the rest of Augusta, it's THAT GOOD! I went in with my husband and this place blew us away! I had the bold and beautiful bowl. It did not disappoint! Savory with pork blood curds. You just DON'T find stuff like this in Augusta. The Wrapped delight was hot and crispy. We also had the lemongrass chicken which was amaze-balls! The lemongrass was IN the meat. Marinated well! Versus just on it as a suggestion. Everything was handmade, fresh, delicious and show-stopping!

Lots of seating options and we opted for the comfy little couch and chair in the back corner, which was great to just have coffee, a quick sandwich, and chat. There were several holiday specialty flavors to choose from and I went with the gingerbread spiced chai latte, and it was really good. My friend got the Good Tidings (think all the Thanksgiving flavors in one sandwich) special and I had serious jealousy over her food because I just got a simple breakfast sandwich and made the mistake of opting for sourdough instead of the amazing ciabatta it was supposed to come on. Everyone working there was so chill, the place was clean and bright, and super cute. Couple really cool things about this place: Christmas spirit & hospitality. There was they were doing a Christmas card drive for seniors in memory care/assisted living and had an assortment of blank cards and a pen for you to fill out while you drink your coffee and leave right there for them to deliver. Not only was the bathroom, super clean and spacious, but they also had a few essential items (especially for those mommies on the go) available in the bathroom that could just make someone's day if they were in need.

While they can't control the door greeter, he made us uncomfortable and you could see the look of disgust on his face. It made me want to leave but we drove all the way out here. And truth be told, the staff wasn't any better. First of all, and most importantly, nobody, and I mean NOBODY was wearing masks. I wondered if I was crazy for wearing one, but cases are at an all time high, and you have hundreds of people walking in and out. I'd expect employees at least to wear them. I got an iced latte with caramel and vanilla syrup. It's not bad. It's more focused on the expresso which is smooth. I can barely taste the caramel and none of the vanilla, so I can't say I'm dying to come back. I didn't enjoy my husbands chai at all. Poor guy got the biggest possible size too. It has some spice, but none of the bite. It tastes like slightly spicy milk, but if you can't imagine that, pretend you just popped some really faint cinnamon bubble gum in your mouth. I wanted to love this place and support a local mom and pop shop, but I just didn't feel welcomed, wouldn't come back to feel uncomfortable again and honestly the drinks just aren't anything to write home about.
