Love the color combination of the restaurant...clean and sleek but cozy. Tried the Spicy Tuna/Spicy Salmon bowl and was very impressed by the quality of the meat as well as the amount of food you get for the price. I loved the textures of the different vegetables- damage, sweet onions, and thinly sliced cucumbers. Enjoyed getting bites with the crunchy onions! They are very nice and service was fast. They let you customize your bowl so I added jalepenos and they had a nice kick. Everything is mixed with a sauce of your choice but I let them do what would traditionally come on this and it was evenly distributed with sweet teriyaki and spicy mayo. Added some kimchi to the side at the end....food was superb. Sushi rice was cooked perfectly. Great portions, good quality, and clean eating for a really good price. I love how they mix everything together with the sauces- the poke is then well flavored and all the yummy toppings too! It's always nice and clean inside and that obviously appreciated in a restaurant, but also I like how bright it is too. They are great at quick service, so you aren't waiting around, but also they don't rush you and will answer any questions or give you suggestions if you aren't sure what you want. read more

They lured me in with the free sample bowl. Man, all of the ingredients in that sample bowl were FRESH and super yummy. They have a huge variety of toppings and sauces that I haven't seen at other poke places in Augusta. They'll basically put whatever you want in the sample bowl for you to try, which is nice. I especially like how they put the protein, solid vegetable/fruit toppings, and sauces together in a separate tray and mix them up before placing it on top of your base. That saves me the problem I tend to run into at other poke places where my bowl is overloaded with toppings, and I have no room to mix them around to get everything I want in one bite. Portions are large. Service is solid. Got spicy salmon as my protein, and the salmon had no fishy aftertaste (which can be common in fish that have been marinating in any kind of sauce). Everything looked clean. Loved the variety of drinks and snacks/desserts they offered. Location is also fantastic since I can stop by while getting my Rx next door at Publix. I have been in Augusta for six years, and this is BY FAR the best poke in the city for the best price. I was thrilled when I heard it was opening, and the place absolutely lives up to the hype. The quality of the fish and other ingredients is 10/10, and they are very generous with portions. However, the best part of this place is the owners and staff! This is my favorite poke place in augusta. I stumbled upon them while going to shop at Publix. I ordered a make your own bowl with tuna and the fish tasted very fresh. I usually prefer salmon but this tuna here tasted better than the salmon. I love how they have so many toppings to choose from and a lot of sauces to pick from too. We were so excited to see this place opening so close to our home. We stopped in while they were giving away free samples to try it out. The bowl itself was simply wonderful made with super fresh ingredients and presented with delicious flair! The ambiance was spot on and while we got our food to go, we both agreed it looked like a nice place to eat. The servers were also very nice and this is where our doubts about Make Your Own Poke Bowl came in to play. One of the servers shared that they were being required to work 60 hours a week! I know it's difficult to find workers but asking someone to work 60 hours a week is excessive! Poor workers, I hope that this situation changes and they get better conditions soon. The bubble tea I got on the side was basic, but satisfying. My bowl, like a lot of these sorts of places, had a wide range of choices and good quality ingredients with a relatively high price for the portion. I've visited Augusta many times and did not see this place before. Out of all the poké places here (there isn't much) this is the best new poké place in town! Everything tastes so fresh and amazing. +My only complaint is how small the portion is for the crab. I was not expecting a mountain of crab, but as you can see in my photo the scoop size for extra crab is the same as 1 plastic spoon which is a lot less than what I expected. read more

I consider myself to be a poke lover and it is something that I eat fairly often at several places. This was by the far the most disgusting poke that I have ever had. To be honest, it was inedible. I had to throw it away in case I would have gotten food poisoning. The place was pretty packed when I arrived with only one employee working. The set up is like a Subway and you order from one end and pay at the other. There are a few tables outside and about 10 inside. The concept itself is that of a BYOB type place. They did have cooked salmon and chicken and tofu as options. I was impressed with what it could have been. I ordered the large bowl which gave me the option to choose 3 proteins. I chose the raw salmon, raw tuna , and shrimp over mixed greens. The employee pulled a bad of lettuce out of the fridge and gave me the last of the bag. That was not appealing to me. The avocado she cut me was about 1/8 of a medium avocado. The toppings were lentil and I took it to go. Please do not be fooled by the picture I posted. The tuna and salmon were not fresh at all and the shrimp was obviously sitting out for awhile. The lettuce was old and soggy and it was just terrible. The only sent part was the radish. The restaurant felt like it needed a good clean. The employee was very nice and I felt bad for her being alone. I really hope they put some love in to this place before someone gets sick off the bad quality fish. I am all about supporting local and that is why I chose this place out of anywhere in all of Augusta. Unfortunately, I lost my money and it was dreadful. read more
