Food was hot. It came with a sweet chili sauce. The sauce was a good compliment. I would buy from this truck again. The people were very nice and food took about 5 minutes to cook. The location is only as good as the event they are cooking at. With a bunch of food trucks here, the sound of generators can be deafening. Check them out.

Service was amazing quick and easy. Definitely would be my daily, being a big boba fan!

Taro tea

Notable for being one of the few food options near Augusta's large medical complex, this is just across the train tracks. It's mainly a bubble tea shop, but food is on offer as well, and there were some tofu options that I'll likely return for. I got a taro tea. It was on the sweet side (and no explicit option was given to adjust that), and given the choice of boba or not, getting boba was easy. The price was high for what it was, but the flavor delivered. For their food items, I found the tofu sandwich to be a small banh mi, with freshly fried tofu. It was more satisfactory than impressive, but sometimes you really need a meal and this place was convenient.

Love stopping by here after my classes! Lily is so sweet and the food is amazing! I've NEVER had a bad experience after being in Augusta for a few years for college.

I had this restaurant bookmarked on Instagram and the moment my daughter mumbled "boba" we were there. Lol just kidding, not about the bookmarked part though... I was leaving an appointment and my daughter asked if we could stop for boba. I pulled up within minutes and although the parking area is small, there were some open spaces. As someone that grew up in the area, the many changes amaze me. They shop is full of light and the boba on display makes you want to try every flavor. Although the shop is small, there are tables around the windows. The staff welcomed me as soon as i opened the door. I love walking into an establishment and being acknowledged right away. I went in with Thai tea on my mind, but my daughter saw purple and wanted the taro boba, so why not?! After placing my order, it came out sooner than expected. Upon first sip, it was love. It exceeded my expectations. I've had boba a number of times, but this was just right, not too sweet, not too tart. The only downside was that it was full of ice, I'll be sure to ask for light ice next time. My daughter couldn't put it down...from walking back to the car to cranking up to leave, my daughter had already drank it all. I will definitely be back to try some other flavors and the food.

Hello,, well first of all it was my first time going to this establishment. I was driving with my mom and my stepdad and I was like I always wanted to try this place and heard so many good. Great things about this Place being that I am a fan of Vietnamese food and I love bubble tea all sorts so I gave them a try my mom and my stepdad. We all loved it. they were so welcoming, respectful warm and may I add a beautiful shop, thank you ladies I will be back. Delicious delicious delicious.

Giant banh mi, spring rolls, summer rolls

Where do I start with this place?... such a hidden gem in Augusta! Hubble tea, coffee, dumplings, bao buns, spring rolls, homemade mayo and fresh carrots and radishes for the banh mi. The teriyaki chicken is something you'd have to fight me for! The food is wonderful and the drinks are refreshing! Don't sleep on this place! Lily is an absolute delight and her cafe' style Vietnamese street food restaurant is a great change from the ordinary for your next lunch break!!!

Been a fan since they first featured at the Augusta Market. Sometimes I'll try to catch their food truck when I'm out and about. Love the coconut milk tea, it's my go-to and always refreshing. Hubby likes the taro. I recently broke off from my usual and tried the lavender milk tea and that will likely be my back up from now on. Haven't really tried the fruit teas...will update when I do. People who have tried the teas definitely come back for more and the line at the market is usually long. My friend waited 45 mins the other day! Food-wise, From what I've tried: I like the fresh spring rolls over the fried ones. Bao has more filling vs bread ratio but I kinda like that about them. Tried the pho once and it was okay for a quick meal. Have not tried the sammies yet. I haven't been disappointed with the meat with rice plates (tried salmon, beef, and shrimp in the past). Obviously I recommend as I keep stopping by to get my milk tea fix!

beef gyoza & steamed shrimp dumplings

My husband and I took a gamble and decided to try this place while my brother was visiting. It's definitely our new favorite place for boba, and I loved the selection of small plates for an afternoon bite. For drinks, we tried the fresh mango oolong tea with popping boba, the lavender oolong tea with boba, and coconut oolong tea with boba. All of them were delicious! The first thing my husband said when he finished his drink was he wished he got the larger size. My husband and I shared the beef gyoza and steamed shrimp dumplings which were a great little portion for the price and super tasty. My brother got the bahn mi and devoured it before I could get a picture, but he said it was delicious too. We came around 10 minutes until closing (which we felt bad about and try to avoid doing typically), but the two ladies on staff were so welcoming and kind regardless. It's a super cute little shop and they even have nice displays of how each of the drinks look which is super nice if you are a visual person like I am. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well which was great since we had our puppy with us.

I went to food truck event and decided to try a fruit tea that Lily's had. Oh was it good is an understatement!! It was freaking delicious! I do have to say it is on the pricey side. I paid 8.00 for about 10 ounce cup, but to me it was worth it. I didn't try the food, but I will next time.

Great spot with a variety of different things to get. There's boba and coffee and some snacks to order. I got the white coffee and it was delicious! It's a nice bittersweet taste.

Absolutely delicious ! Cute and cozy little shop and very hospitable service and it's clean! Definitely worth it.

Matcha green tea

One of my favorite bubble tea places in town. I like all the milk tea flavor but the matcha and lavender are my favorite. I usually catch them at the the the Augusta market on Saturdays the other days they are on the move so you'll have to follow then on social media to find their location. Haven't had too many of their food items but I've tried the summer rolls and the bahn mi both were good. The summer rolls are fresh. The bahn mi isn't the usual meats I'm used to.

Rose lemonade tea is amazing it has a rose flavor with a fruity hint, boba crystals added and extremely satisfying

You drive by it a few times and think about…read morestopping in, you mention its name to others and they don't know what you're talking about, and then you finally visit. Such was the case with this coffee shop. The location is the first selling point. Right on the corner of 8th and Greene Street. You might not notice it except for in the evening. The large windows in the front allow the light from inside to spill out. During the day, you get the opposite. The sun gives this place such a warm glow. I already love 8th Street because it is unique with its presence of pine trees (all the way to the riverfront), but is also home to some amazing other businesses. Walking in, you are greeted by plenty of seating selection and smiling team members. The coffee bar is straight ahead with the options. I have to give props to the design team as they did an amazing job with the overall theme, the rustic industrial feel. Again, the contrast of the dark wood and white walls with the sunlight is perfect. They will let you know upfront that they are the fruit of a collaborative effort by United Methodist Churches in the area. The primary goal is to provide a coffee shop where college students can come to study, fellowship, and grow. I mention this because I also want to add that, based on my observation, this was the only religious reference present. So know that there aren't various sayings on the walls that might offend or disturb the atmosphere. Also, because it falls under the churches, it is a nonprofit. This means payment is suggested, they can't charge per se. So have an idea of what you think a latte or hot cup of coffee is worth to you. I went with a nitro cold brew coffee and was told their cold brew and all of their beans come from Stone Roastery (in North Augusta). It is good to hear them supporting local and not trying to produce something they may not be ready for just yet. There is free WiFi and soft acoustic music playing and the invitation to come and setup to work anytime (without them knowing the company I work for). I look forward to returning soon. Stop by, if your schedule allows. Currently they are open Monday-Wednesday, 11 am-3 pm. They hope to expand hours soon.

Bodega isn't going anywhere, I am. And as I begin the moving process I have created a mental list of places I will miss in the Augusta area. And trust me, I know all the places. Fancy, hole-in-the-wall, no online presence, hyper online presence. I know all about them. And Bodega has consistently been a go-to spot for me over the years. Typically it is a Sunday morning/early afternoon, with a cup of coffee, and about half the time a soft shelled crab sandwich. Every other time, I throw caution to the wind. Could be a biscuit. Could be a pulled pork sandwich or The Lox. Who knows. But here's what I do know. The service, ambiance, and quality of what I order is always always at a level of excellence. And where else can you interact with the furry team member (Ash) as part of the experience? Such a relaxing spot, with the ceiling fans cooling you off (and the table fans keeping flies at bay) and the fountain trickling in the background. Please, if you are in the area be sure to go by and make up for my absence!

Yelp nudged us toward New Moon Cafe, and while the signage from the street is minimal enough that we almost walked past it, we eventually found our way inside and were glad we did. At 12:30 on a Saturday the timing worked in our favor. We stepped right up to the counter with no queue at all, placed our order, and settled in. By the time our food arrived about fifteen minutes later, the line had grown to the point where people were waiting nearly that long just to order, which gave the whole place that lively, slightly chaotic weekend energy without ever feeling rushed. Mrs. K chose the smoked salmon bagel, which came out panini pressed, a small twist on a classic that she enjoyed. I am still keeping things keto, so the chef's salad with blue cheese was exactly what I needed, a generous portion that felt balanced and satisfying without pushing me off track. They offer plenty of coffee drinks and smoothie combinations, but we kept things simple and were perfectly happy with our choices. There is outdoor seating if that is your preference, and the whole experience had that relaxed, local charm that makes Augusta lunches feel unhurried even when the dining room is filling up around you.
