When cupcakes taste fresh and the frosting maintains its texture 3 days later, you know they are winners. When you walk into Smallcakes, you're always greeted with a warm welcome. They have a variety of flavors ranging from traditional vanilla, very chocolatey, to seasonal ones and fruity and there are always some bright kids options. The inside of the bakery is very bright and cheerful, which adds to the overall charm. Military discount is available as well.
Oh MY GOSH This place still has the best cupcakes ever. Especially since they have new flavors for the Summer like Blueberry Lemon, Margharita, Mississippi Mud Pie, Pina Coleda, and other flavors. I chose the Blueberry Lemon cupcake which the young lady said reminds her of a Blueberry Muffin and the Pink Chocolate Cupcake. I'll be sure to see anytime I'm in Evans to try the new flavors. Remember they have new flavors everyday so be sure to ask them about their newest flavors. :)

In the words of my daughter when she was a baby, MAH-NUM-IN!!!! This the equivalent of high culinary praise. I mean, this cupcakery has a ton of accolades and it's all worth it! I've gone twice and each time it was after dinner, so there wasn't as much of a selection but I feel that works in my favor because otherwise I wouldn't be able to make up my mind. This time we tried the pink chocolate, s'mores, pecan sandie and a cannoli. All were delicious and decadent. They offer gluten-free cupcakes, hold birthday parties and cater weddings. I highly recommend them as a special treat. It is a little pricey but they do offer a military discount. Thank you, we appreciate that!

I can't believe I've been driving bye this establishment forever, nevertheless I finally stopped bye to fulfill my craving for something sweet and boy I was not disappointed, these cupcakes are hands down amazing... the selection had my wife and I like kids in a candy store. We literally couldn't make up our minds on what delicious confection to take home however we composed ourselves and decided to bye two double chocolate a red velvet and a coconut cupcake. One of the double chocolate never made it home, just had to try it right away. Smallcakes Cupcakery creates some of the most delicious and eye appealing cupcakes. The staff is friendly and patient, they also mention they due a military discount plus, plus. I would definitely recommend Smallcakes Cupcakery to family and friends alike. A must try!

The smell alone had me going crazy, and after I picked my lemon cupcake and bit into this cupcake. !!!Great!!! Was the best word to come to mind until after I had some of my wife's German Chocolate Cupcake.... You have to go and check this place out to truly taste what this cupcake tasted like.
So i really like the friendliness of the staff. I also enjoy the cupcakes. I think some of them can use a bit less icing but to each their own. My favorite outa the box I ordered was the strawberry cheesecake - 8/10
Second time here. I love their cupcakes! They are sooooo cute and tasty! Today I had the cotton candy cupcake, and it was soooo delicious! The place is pretty clean and modern as well. The only thing I really don't like is that it's so far from my house!!! **Note, they also have a buy one get one deal, and they have punch cards as well!

Management clearly doesn't know what BOTH these types of people risk and sacrifice and do for us. Just don't offer a discount if you are going to pull this kind of ridiculous selective treatment. And the fact they post it on the wall next to the register, disgusting.
The cupcakes were very delicious and moist. The shop is cute and wasn't busy at all. The staff was friendly and knowledgable when helping me to choose the best kinds to try. Although I was told that the wedding cake was the most popular, I really enjoyed the Strawberry cupcake the most! If you're in for something sweet, I definitely recommend stopping by. read more

Yes! Absolutely delicious cupcake with the perfect amount of frosting. Literally have never had such an amazing cupcake, even when there was a trend years ago. The shop was small and very clean and the cupcakes on display all looked SO delicious and intricately made. I ordered the daily special French Toast cupcake and at almost $4, I literally thought to myself "I hope this is worth it".. It was worth every penny! Moist, delicious, and the flavor was exactly what you'd want in french toast. Also, the takeout box was super cute as well (I love polka dots) ;) Will definitely be back to try other flavors! read more

It's so tough running a cupcake shop when there's so many trends coming and going just miles down the street. That being said, the staff here is super upbeat and knowledgeable about pairings. How awesome is that? They tell you which cupcakes would go excellent with your meal. Oh my gosh, it's so adorable. It IS a franchise, but it's a franchise that really doesn't give off that kind of vibe at all. I've been to a couple in the Midwest and I can honestly say they all feel different but the cupcakes are all pretty tasty. I tried the Caramel Crunch 'cause the pretzels and sea salt drew me in and offered a lovely contrast to the soft chocolate base. It's made me change my mind about zeroing right in for the traditional red velvet cupcake for sure. They also do a hell of zingy cherry limeade cupcake and me being a Sonics limeade fan, it did me such good to eat it in cupcake form. They have a punchcard AND a generous military discount (BOGO) which I never personally use unless I'm getting 6 cupcakes for a group outing 'cause that'd just be taking advantage of a good thing. As a lover of cake I had to stop in and see what all the fuss was about. I purchased a box of six, cookies and cream, lemon, birthday cake, Carmel, white cake with fudge frosting, and s'mores. First, these things are HUGE. Next, I've tried 4 of the 6 and the crumb of the cupcakes is perfect. Soft, fluffy. Each cupcake has a different type of frosting. The S'mores was a marshmallow frosting. Lemon was a buttercream with lemon curd, and did not taste artificial. Birthday cake was a standard buttercream. It was good, but not the best I've ever had. Caramel was a caramel and it was yummy! Easy parking, friendly staff. I went after lunch on a Thursday and was the on,y person there. I had a coupon for a free cupcake! I left with a punch card. I've enjoyed everything thus far, look forward to finishing what I bought and going back for more! read more

Smallcakes Cupcakery is a great addition to the Evans area, taking gourmet cupcakes to the next level. Cupcake shops are a dime a dozen thanks to Food Network, but don't let that keep you away from Smallcakes. I love deserts but my wife bakes at home so it's hard for me to rationalize buying treats out in town. My wife heard some good gossip about this shop so we stopped by for a taste. - Friendly Staff - Beautiful Interior - Support Military (BOGO) - Delicious Cakes - Seasonal and special flavors - Featured on Food Networks "Cupcake Wars" These gourmet-size cupcakes are all soft and moist with tasty frosting that's not overly sweet. There are a variety of flavors that are always available in addition to daily specials. When you first walk inside you notice a thoughtful interior, that provides a welcoming high-end feel. Just looking at the cupcake photos on the wall made me hungry! My favorite part? They have the most functional packaging for taking cupcakes home in your car without ending up with smashed frosting. I ordered the peanut butter cupcake ($3.25) that is chocolate cake with peanut butter cream cheese frosting topped with crumbled peanut butter cups. The toppings were nice for some added sweetness! I couldn't just have one! So I picked up a carmel crunch ($3.25) that is vanilla cake with carmel frosting topped with sea salt and chocolate pretzels. I wasn't sure about the sea salt but it really helped to bring out added flavor. read more

I would've given it five stars but whoever that chick is behind the counter is honestly the worst. It's like talking to a literal rude zombie. Despite that my cupcakes were delicious. I had coconut, red velvet, snickers, and s'mores. The s'mores was by far my favorite of the bunch. They are all so soft, moist, and actually quite large. I ended up spliting all of mine with someone else. They are pricey at $22 for a half dozen but worth it. read more

Great place! The cupcakes there are very soft and good. I really liked their specialty key lime cupcake that is offered on Fridays. Another favorite would have to be the decadent fudge cupcake that is extremely chocolatey but not too much. We bought a couple of cupcakes as gifts and everyone absolutely loved it! We have been told try the wedding cake, which is something we will do next time read more

Purchased a dozen cupcakes. They have lots of nice flavors from which to choose. The cake is moist yet light. The icing is a nice density and consistency. Would definitely recommend. I admittedly compare all my cupcakes to Georgetown cupcakes, and that's why I gave 4 stars instead of five. read more

The KEY is to go in the morning or early afternoon when they are fully stocked with fresh cupcakes! I have gone twice now to this shop and the 1st time, I wasn't impressed. However, I happened to give it a second try the next weekend with my fiancé after lunch, and we were both blown away with how many different, delicious flavors they had! Just for us two, we bought 4! Mimosa and Kentucky bourbon were our favorite but the others were close!! read more

On Valentine's Day when everyone is closing, Smallcakes Cupcakery extended their hours until 8 pm. I called before going and found this out. It was also on the website, but due to COVID-19 you want to check to make sure. As soon as I walked through the door, the young lady, who is full of life greeted me. She welcomed me and asked how many cupcakes would you like? It made me laugh, because at the moment I had already spotted only 1 cupcake I wanted. She said, you only want one, so I looked again. She asked politely if I wanted a vanilla cupcake. I said, I need something with more flavor. I really want lemon. She smile and brought forth a box of a dozen cupcakes. She said what if I offered you one from this box? She opened it, and I spotted 3 that I wanted. I asked for the strawberry, strawberry cheesecake, and the lemon cupcakes. She smiled and said you can have them. So, I got a box of four. The reason why I mentioned this is because the cupcakes she offered was actually hers. I smiled from the time she opened, closed that box, and when I walked out the door. The customer service alone would keep me coming back. I actually posted them on my Instagram, Facebook stories to share with the world. The cupcakes are definitely as good as they look. Please go visit this place, you will definitely not be disappointed. read more
