I visited Sheila's bakery last December, its located in North Augusta. Parking is on the side or in the back lot. She is located on a corner so really easy to find. While traveling I always visit a local bakery for some morning sweetness. I checked out a few reviews and took a chance. This was indeed the place to be on a early Saturday morning! They had a line upon my arrival, but everyone was professional and timely. They have a little bit of everything, it was overload for me, how can I choose just a few things, Lol! We have been wanting to try Sheila's Baking since she first started but have always been in town on the days she is closed but we finally got a chance and wow it was worth it! We ordered the strawberry cream donuts, strawberry donuts, and some peach pinwheels. All were so fresh and not too sugary! Coffee was great too, but I recommend half sweet if you're not a fan of super sweet drinks. There are places to sit inside and out (it's right off the main street!). If not, make sure you arrive early so they don't sell out! This is now one of the things I look forward to on Fridays. I absolutely love the klobasnek (sausage inside a fluffy pastry) and get two so I can enjoy one on Saturday as well. The pecan sticky bun seemed obligatory, and was as sweet as one would expect. They didn't have the peach pastry I wanted as they close after lunch and were running out of stuff, but the cinnamon roll I took for the next day was a splendid rendition of a basic, the icing so delicate, the cinnamon so strong. Looking for an early morning delight. This is the place in the heart of downtown North Augusta. Warning parking at times can be tight, so try looking at side streets. The location closes at 1 pm, so during the last hour, their inventory becomes very sparse. I have been here a couple of times usually during lunchtime, but I have my heart set on the elusive klobasnek. So I stuck with my usual ice coffee. My friends ordered the doughnuts the maple brown donuts and cinnamon. They were both soft and moist, no complaints here. The display of their pastries is a bit disappointing but the cashier will walk you through what pastries they have available. The lobby is a bit small and can get crowded trying to figure out who is in line, but a small price to pay to support local businesses. If you have sweet tooth for early morning pastries/donuts. I have a weakness for a good pastry shop. The donuts here are amazing. I went with the strawberries and creme this morning, and it did not disappoint. It is SO CRAZY to see how this store out performs many of the restaurants in Augusta & North Augusta. I wish they offered more savory options. Most of the pastries I've tried are too sweet tasting for me. However I do enjoy a doughnut with sprinkles. My favorite pastries are the seasonal Mexican Hot Chocolate Cinnamon Roll and the Birthday Cake Roll, which are both the perfect amount of sweetness to me. And they are to die for. As far as drinks go, I love the Iced Chai Tea Latte here, it has the flavor and thickness I'm looking for. The line always moves very fast here so that's nice too. read more

We recently found Shiela's this summer and used to visit her food truck in Evans all the time for the espresso and cream donuts. The store front is a little father away so we don't get Sheilas as often, which my hips are thankful. I really only came for the espresso donuts and am incredibly sad she didn't keep them. While in the food truck phase, we tried once to get a strawberry donut and they claimed they messed up on the batch and we never got to try those. It was a bit disappointing as we preordered, but did issue a refund. The lemon poppy wasn't for me. I thought I'd enjoy it but I found it way too tart and could bareeely eat half. My husband didn't enjoy it either, nor my kids, but I brought the rest to work and one of my managers claimed he couldn't stop thinking about it lol. The donuts are huge, the icing is generous, and the donuts usually taste soft and fresh. I'm not a fan of the newer speciality donuts so I'll be peeping her Facebook page in hopes of something else that catches my eye. If donuts aren't your thing, the cinnamon roll got a thumbs up from my 5 year old and the peach kolache was given a 7/10 by my best friend. A quaint space in North Augusta, located in the shopping plaza that includes Your Pie, AR Workshop, and Toki Jr. They capstone the right end and are accessible from a number of parking spaces on the main street, side street, and behind the building as well. Their days and times are limited (Tuesday-Saturday, most days closing at 1 pm). But when you're this good, you can do that. Fresh is not even a question. Nor is quality. Once you've experienced anything from their menu, a new personal standard will exist. If you're on the go, online ordering is a option with it waiting on a shelf. Grab and go, it couldn't be more convenient. If you have the time to sit and savor, there are a few tables inside and more out front as well. I highly recommend this option as you can fully enjoy the pastry and coffee beverage of your choosing while sitting outside and hear the mix of bird songs and passing traffic. Not that I need to sell you any more, but here's a few other tidbits. They have seasonal doughnuts (i.e. espresso cream, peanut butter explosion), a bakery bus that sets up at three different locations every week, and pretzels on the third Thursday of every month. For som who live about 5 minutes from this location I was surprised by how I did miss it but I'm glad I was told about it. Visiting on a Saturday morning the line was moving swiftly and the staff is friendly and giving great service(I almost forgot my peppermint hot cocoa). This store is centrally located in North Augusta on Georgia Avenue. I like the indoor and outdoor sitting area. Outdoor seating will certainly be enjoyable once the weather gets warmer for having coffee and pastries. The glazed donut I had was delicious and I washed it down with an ice coffee. Reasonable prices! Always a warm and friendly environment, too. The workers are always so pleasant. I don't feel pressured to hurry up with my decision, and they're willing to answer any questions I have regarding new menu items, this time is no exception. This donut shop is located in North Augusta, SC. The area is cute and sweet. It is right next to a Japanese restaurant and a pie shop. There are free parking spaces on the side of the building. The donut shop is small. There isn't much room for large parties. It seems to be more of a place to stop and get your donut and leave. They do have a few tables inside as well as covered outdoor seating. Everything is first come, first serve. The staff are nice and knowledgeable. The donuts are fairly priced. There's a good variety for flavor options. This is my first time here, so I wanted to try a few different donuts. I opted for the orange citrus, the chocolate iced, blueberry iced, vanilla glazed, lemon poppy seed, cinnamon roll with icing and funfetti with icing. These donuts are all shareable. My husband and I split them in half. It can be quite overwhelming to eat too much at a time because they're very sweet. All of the donuts are dense and soft. It's not the same as a donut from most donut shops. The dough feels more elevated. It almost tastes like a sour dough/donut mixture. It's really good, and the donut dough is not too sweet. Most of the sweetness comes from the icing/glaze. My personal favorites are the orange citrus, funfetti, cinnamon roll, and vanilla glaze. I didn't really like the lemon poppyseed one. I feel like there is so much potential for the lemon poppyseed donut, but it kind of missed the mark for me. It was tart from the lemon but almost too sweet from the glaze? It doesn't really give me the lemon poppyseed flavor I wanted. I think that it would be really good if they could somehow make the donut dough lemon poppyseed flavor rather than the icing, then it might be better. The other donuts were good as well. I am not usually a big donut lover, but these specialty donuts are worth trying. I'm excited to try out new flavors when I come back. I highly recommend this place! read more

This is one of my favorite local bakeries. They have a large variety of baked goods, both savory and sweet! My favorite is the caramelli. It's basically a fluffier cinnamon roll and it's delicious. They're primarily opened in the morning to early afternoon, so you have to get there a little earlier to get your baked goods!
