I loved almost everything I tried here! I tried their strawberry cake, pecan pie, iced cookie, lemon bars, and brownie. Most desserts here are $4-5, and they are pretty big to share. All of the desserts here are tasty, while not overly sweet. Their iced cookie is decorated nicely, so it's a great present for events as well. They sell cookies couple days old at half price, and I tried it once. It wasn't too different that it satisfied my sweet cravings. I wouldn't mind trying new cookies when it's half off. Last year (2019), my friends ordered my birthday cake ($25) for me from Two Moms because they know I love their desserts. Apparently, it was NOT decorated at all (they told me they ordered a few days in advance). They had to decorate the cake for me before showing me, and I never got to see the original cake because they refused to show me the original picture (original cake came without pink decor or stars). I ordered custom cookies ahead of time for my wife's birthday via the two moms cookies order former online ( where you provide your requested order details , email, phone number, etc). I then received a phone call and discussed my order in detail , agreed to pay a rush service fee, and had arranged for a specific time and pickup at their physical location. No one was present at their store front at the agreed upon time, I waited for over an hour because I really wanted to have the custom cookies in time for my wife's birthday. I called several times, left a voicemail, and message and no one could be reached . Two mom's cookies completely failed to deliver and had overall poor business practices. I had to scramble last minute for this previously arranged special occasion. I suggest two moms either send a confirmation of order via email or has a system to be reachable when an order is expected to be picked up. I recommend against endorsing this business if you have a special occasion that you required baked goods for. read more

Confession time here. I have a food weakness, an Achilles Heel of the appetite. Though I love sushi and country cooking and a number of other edibles, I cannot pass up anything with sugar in it. Cane sugar, brown sugar, confectioners sugar, I'm not picky. I have a sweet tooth like no other. So when I finally made a visit here, I knew I had come to the right place. Now part of the reason I have often passed it by is because it isn't on a main road. But listen, go one block off Wrightsboro and there it is. I just love it being in a old firehouse. Renovation history, any way possible. I walked in with nothing but my appetite and a smile. And then... I knew they did cookies and cakes, but I had no idea about the casseroles. I peered through the glass like a kid in a candy store. Lemon bars, peanut butter cookies, cinnamon rolls, coconut cake. What was I supposed to do? Get a little bit of everything of course. Though I didn't stay to eat my box of goodies, I looked around and saw they have picnic tables to sit at (there is plenty of room inside). Also, the answer to a very important question is yes they have milk available for purchase (regular, skim, whole, and chocolate). The team was helpful in explaining some of the cookies (i.e. Oatmeal Scotchie=real butter, dark brown sugar, oatmeal, pecans, butterscotch bits). Read the ratings and it caught my attention but until yesterday I could never seem to find them open when I had free time. Yesterday was the day and I witnessed why they are favored by those who love sweets. The building is an old firehouse that gives it a great deal of character. I visited a sweet shop in old town augusta weeks prior only to find it a pitiful excuse for a dessert shop with no selection of baked goods. Two mom was not such a place. The cookies were a generous size and the flavors exceptional. The pecan bar caught our eye and while it's not a pecan pie it's definitely a close relative. The monster peanut butter oatmeal M&M was by far my personal favorite but you would be hard pressed to make a wrong choice. The customer service was great and I suspect while their location is not great they thrive off events vice visits. I can't help but wonder how well they would do in old town Augusta likely putting the sad competition out of business while giving locals the much deserved monster desserts they do best. I placed an order for my husbands military promotion. The employee who took the order confirmed the military design. I went to pick up the cookies and the design was completely wrong, maple leaf shaped cookies. I pulled up the correct design and the employees eventually admitted they made the wrong cookies. The manager on duty told me I should buy the cookies "It would be funny to have the wrong designed cookies." I was offered a 15% discount and given 2 of the misshaped cookies. I was then told I would return to buy the rest of the cookies once I tasted them. Not sure how having the wrong shaped cookies at a military event would be "funny." Poor customer service. read more

They have a really good product but the service should be an embarrassment for the owners. I ordered and pre-paid for decorated gingerbread women in bags with ribbon. When my husband stopped by to pick them up, they acted confused about the order, couldn't seem to find it and then stated they would charge more if I wanted them piped and even then they wouldn't be dry for the bags. When I ordered them I specifically asked to have the ginger bread women decorated. I love their cookies and bars but not only did they send the wrong unfinished order, they were really rude to him. How can you be rude to someone because you didn't fill an order and the customer simply asked for the product they paid for! I was so angry when he brought the cookies to my office and I started to return them but decided to let everyone I know how he was treated and to share this story as often as possible especially with the people who I am gifted them. I love this local cookie shop! They make the most amazing iced cookies here. Their iced cookies are beautifully decorated and aren't overly sweet. I love supporting small businesses, and Two Moms Cookies is one I'm happy to support. The two mom's working here are so friendly and cute! They didn't even know what Yelp was, so I was happy to explain to them that they had a 4.5 rating. I even helped submit a change for them, since the Yelp app said they were closed on Saturdays... but they're actually open! Not sure why this place is rated as "$$" because at $1.50 each for a giant, thick, cookie packed with ingredients, I think that's more than reasonable. They also have half dozen packs for $8.50. I bought 6 for my friends and I to enjoy after a nice lunch. All of the cookies are cripsy on the outside and soft in the middle - exactly how they should be! Chocolate chip pecan - one of our friends said this was his favorite, though I only had a small bite. The pecans are a nice addition to the traditional chocolate chip cookie. Monster - did not like this - even though it's full of ingredients (oats, M&Ms, chocolate chips, etc), all you could taste was the peanuts. It tasted like a peanut butter cookie and unfortunately, I dislike PB cookies. Peanut butter - didn't have a bite (see above), but I'm told by PB lovers that it was tasty. Oatmeal raisin - traditional oatmeal raisin cookie - not too crazy sweet and soft in the middle. Two Moms serves a great version. Oatmean Craisin Toffee - didn't see or taste the toffee at all in this cookie, unfortunately. Instead, it was full of chocolate chips. Almost like a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie with a hint of Craisins. I was really looking forward to the toffee part and just didn't get that from this cookie. Sugar - my absolute favorite of the bunch. Buttery, not too sweet, and chewy/soft center. Delicious! wow, I am very disappointed with today's visit. I purchased cookies that were very old, and probably should have been discarded. They finally got a coffee maker and its a kureg (sp?) really? they normally have top shelf home cooked deserts and you get a kureg? (sp?) PLEASE? you don't order french cuisine and cover it with ketchup. wow. anyhow their cookies, even day old are usually better than that, and those are several days old and should have been thrown out not sold to the public. Seeing new businesses sprout up in the Summerville area of Augusta always makes me happy, but when I see businesses this cute, I really swoon. When we first pulled up to the entrance, the small shop looked closed, but the door opened and we were greeted by the owner, her team of bakers and the mouthwatering, homey smell of freshly baked cookies. The bakery is laid out in an open format, with display cases highlighting their daily offerings and a large open kitchen behind the counter where you can watch the keebler moms at work. On the side, a few tables await visitors who choose to stay and savor their cookies and it looked like a large carafe of coffee was also available, perhaps a hint of the cafe atmosphere-to-come. Although the shop has only been open for a month, it seems like the moms were busy filling holiday orders. As I chatted with the owner she seemed a little overwhelmed with her success, but very sweet and proud of her accomplishments. There was a full wall of orders waiting to be picked up! Ready for the sweet deets? The cookies are huge and perfectly formed-- definitely not the mishapen batch I usually turn out of my oven. There was a fair selection to choose from, about 7 different homey varieties and we picked out Ginger, Chocolate Chocolate Chip Pecan and Peanut Butter M&M Oatmeal Monster cookies. They packed out a dozen in a standard white box (no branding yet) and we brought them home to eagerly taste our loot. WOW--these cookies are good. Soft, chewy and exactly what a cookie should be. Our favorite was definitely the ginger-- spicy, sweet, fall-out-of-your chair good. (Seriously, my brother fell out of his chair.) They also do specialty sugar cookies (they were working on some turkeys when we were there) and cookie cakes to order. I can't imagine that they'd be anything less than delicious. This place has huge potential, but still has some steps to take to become a total cookie powerhouse. The interior could be a little homier and branding is a litte unclear. However, it's obvious a void has been filled in Augusta's cookie department. Two Moms Cookies is the perfect addition to the Central Avenue strip and I wish it much success! read more

Visited on my quest to find something sweet. I popped into Two Moms Cookies because my sister and I both wanted to try it. The parking is not great. They have 5 parking spaces, which are shared with another business. I think there were additional spaces around the back, but I'm unsure. Inside is small, so I think its a bakery where you place orders and pick up or just drop in and get something to-go. They had several cookies (chocolate chip, chocolate chip and pecans, peanut butter, M&Ms etc). The cookies were large and looked promising. I got a chocolate chip with pecan and my sister go peanut butter. They were ok. I think it was too much flour used. Cute place, may attempt again earlier in the day. The sugar cookie is more like shortbread with an attitude. Sweet, complex and in a variety of shapes. You can get them to make Augusta cookies or other holiday shapes. I love this place! The cookies are awesome are the bakers are so sweet! Just here's the problem; out of the seven days in a week, they are closed three of those days! (Sunday, Saturday, and Monday) Like those three days weren't enough, they are closed an excessive amount of time around the holidays, which is bad for them, because they should be getting a lot of business then. For example, 4th of July. Closed July 4th - July 13th. Wow. I don't own a business, but if I did, I'd run it, and not be closed all the time.
