a gas pump in a gas station

We showed up to the gas station from I20 at 5am and they were open even though it sort of looked closed. It's a good spot to know with crazy low gas prices!

Can't get any worst than this, I bought this last week.... I understand that you can't keep track of all of the inventory but come on. It doesn't take this long to figure out that this is expired.

This Kroger was insaneeee. It's huge and has SO many different things to choose from. It reminds me of a super target. It has groceries and so many non grocery items such as kitchen supplies, holiday miscellaneous and furniture. I would definitely check this place out.

I absolutely love Kroger!!!! This was my first time ever going to this Kroger and it was totally different than any other Kroger that I've ever visited! The parking lot was packed because it was Christmas Eve, but when I went in, I didn't get the usual overly packed Kroger with long lines. I was shocked! This Kroger is way bigger and it has a wider selection of items, as well as clothing. I picked up what I needed (champagne and oj) and went to checkout and to my surprise, I had no wait! I walked right up to the cashier, paid, and left. In and out in no time!

I'm sushi lover and never thought I found the best sushi in this grocery market. This Kroger marketplace reminds me HEB in TX and Wegmens in MD. There is food station you can buy sushi, ovened pizza, rotisserie chicken and Chinese food just like Whole Foods! I'm just so happy I found good quality of sushi with very reasonable price.

    Holy crap! Myzithra cheese!!

This is probably my favorite example of this chain. It's the closest thing I have to a Mariano's so if they'd just put in an oyster bar...hint hint. This store is new, filled with clean wide aisle, and chock full of things I don't need but might want. There's clothes, sneakers, beautiful dishes, a wine steward judging you and a lovely hot ready made dishes on top of the enormous selection of regular every day items. I have a love/hate relationship with this particular Kroger because of the sheer size and confusing layout. I mean, how many different places are there for cheese?? And why are eggs in the same aisle as juice and snack puddings? The logistics of this place drives me nuts but I appreciate the steps I can get in and storing the knowledge there's Kit Kat drumstick novelty bars awaiting my next trip. The produce selection is impressive but the meat case and fresh seafood is a little underwhelming. I couldn't find any fresh 21-25 ct shrimp, the andouille sausage was completely out of stock and good luck getting your hands on anything on some huge Friday deal-it'll be gone by 9 a.m.

Turns out, nature doesn't make generic almonds and I'm not paying $7.99+ when I can get it for $4.99. I could go on and on about the price comparisons but I wouldn't be adding to the body of Grovetown Aldi knowledge. I find that produce at Aldi is BETTER than what I've found at Kroger up the street. Call me stingy but I've returned fruit and veggies that started showing signs of rot a day or two after I purchase them. I have yet to do that with Aldi. Does that mean that everything is flawless in the produce department? No, you still need to dig from time to time and use your olfactory skills! There's a handful of things I won't budge on and go to other stores but it's worth it to me to go here and save! Hot: All nuts, Penguin Cheese Crackers (Goldfish equivalent but tastes lighter in a good way), Dried fruits, Winking Owl wine isn't bad, condiments (ketchup is good and comparable to Heinz), Veggie Straws, Chicken Broth with low sodium, cereal (Aldi brand Honey Bunches of Oats, Chex and Shredded Wheat are all delish), batteries (near the registers)....clearly I can go on. Heck Ya: Almond Flour, Flaxseed, Chia Seeds, Quinoa...all here at a reasonable price!!! There are gluten-free options but I can't really speak to that. Did I mention, much to my surprise their coffee is pretty dang good. I'm a coffee snob but I can get down with $3.99 coffee that is actually palatable. Not: I'm not a fan of their paper towels or tissue. I used to love their wipes but for some reason the dispenser keeps detaching from the package and I have a ton of unusable wipes. Maybe I'm the Hulk?! I've tried their pizza in the cooler section by the frozen items, not a fan. They aren't awful but don't hit a home run in the taste department. Miscellaneous: I love looking at their seasonal aisles. I've picked up cute silicone heart pans, kid's pjs, succulents and more for a fair price. The staff is helpful and friendly, which is icing on the cake! They are fast at the checkout so I never dread waiting in line. Being your quarter for the cart and your own bags and you my friend, you are a super smart shopper with money left over! Beware, Starbucks is conveniently located across the street...they tend to get some of my money left over. Ha!

On Saturdays the sell barbacoa, and on Sundays they sell menudo! Tamales, pork or chicken, can be bought any day of the week! The location itself is a little small but there is no shortage of supplies so I am completely okay with the size of the store itself!! The aisles and restrooms were the cleanest of all the Krogers. Secondly, stock and inventory. The diversity of products supported with items being in stock was impressive. Granted this is a large Kroger, so they have more room, but to see rows and rows of the same item in stock while providing diverse item choices was simple impressive. Third, due to the size, they were offering sections you wouldn't see in a typical Kroger or grocery store. This Kroger even had a clothing section. Kind of reminded me of Target or Walmart (but better). Their bakery section and produce area were about the same as others, but definitely fresher. Plenty of parking and helpful staff roaming the aisles helping out customers or ensuring items were stocked. Definitely glad I decided to check this place out since it was so close by. I walked in, filled out a piece of paper, waited a few minutes, got the shot, got the gift card, and was on my way! They have a really good deli at Publix that makes better subs than Subway, PubSubs they're called.
