This is the fanciest Kroger I've ever been to in my life - in my entire life. Seriously, it's like Whole Foods + Walmart with a splash of Target. The selection on food is huge! They carry the typical brand selections but larger product lines. There is a cafe', a buffet, a cheese station, a deli, a wine connoisseur, etc. They have a huge organic section. They also sell clothes! I can see this Kroger giving the Walmart down the street a run for its money. read more

I LOVE this Kroger. It's not just a grocery store, it's an experience. Everything from groceries, to fresh baked breads and pastries, to fresh served hot bar, including Pizza, Sushi, Asian, Home Cooking, a LARGE salad bar (u fix) and a LOT more. They even sell cloths and shoes, from infant to adult, and they're REALLY nice. PLUS....I go every Friday, from 5:00 to 7:00 for their FREE wine tasting. I hated the setup at first, but I'm slowly getting used to it. Great service though. They'll even run after you if you forget groceries!

Not bad sushi selection, would be mice to see a real sushi bar but I'm sure that will never happen here, their brick oven pizza is decent. Wouldn't recommend the Chinese buffet, the food selection is small and I find it is usually dried up from the infrared lamps. read more

This store is supposed to be modeled after Fred Meyers on the west coast. It looks a bit like it but its not as good. I think a more fair comparison is that of a small Walmart with food. The good is they do have a pretty decent beer selection and the prices on alcohol seemed to be pretty good. There also was plenty of checkouts open. The bad..,. The produce was not up to par from what I expect from Kroger. We asked for help to find fennel and the service was sub par. If I had known it was that much trouble to ask where the fennel was I wouldn't have asked. pre-prepared food looked a mess and poorly prepared (pizzas were "bubbled" so bad that I couldn't believe they put them out), again not up to what I expect from Kroger. We stopped by the seafood department and service again not up to par. We wanted 2 dozen mussels and we had to wait and wait and wait. Then the 2nd person who finally decided to help us (there were 2 guys there but only one was working) instead of standing around had to be told you cant put mussels in a sealed bag because they are alive. Then we had to wait for the guy to fumble around forever to find the proper bag. All in all this store is not what I expect from Kroger. If you need beer or wine it would make a good stop. For anything else I will keep going to my normal Kroger and publix. read more

I have only bought crab legs and shrimp at this location. The store has something for everybody and fresh items daily that they sell. I love the atmosphere of the store but they cater more to people that can afford the price points on certain items I can get elsewhere cheaper. They offer weekly deals but still going to numerous stores is a little much. Kroger has become my go to for my crab legs when I'm in the mood and that alone gets 3 stars.. read more

Love the new Kroger, would give them five stars but the meat selection is still not up to what you can get at Publix. Overall the prices are better here at Kroger though. I like that this store has everything that you could need in one stop. Great selection of wines and beer. My favorite store here in Grovetown. read more

I used to not like shopping at Kroger stores but they have stepped their game up with this location. They have the added section with clothing, home items, and bath cosmetic items. I always see cute things but fail to set time to stop and look. They usually have enough checkouts open when you at only waiting behind 1 person. Most of the time everyone is very friendly. Produce is the only thing they could approve on. A lot of time certain things are out or the quality of what is there isn't buyable. Discount tags on items might seem great but you have to really good at the expiration date. Other suggestion is the bread in the deli sandwich station is really dense and plain. A French bread type bread would be a lot better like Publix! That area though with the quick take out food has salad bar, sandwiches, pizza, fries chicken, Chinese chicken, and sushi. Sushi is very good we get this all the time so don't let store sushi scare you, just need to eat the same day you buy. There is a little side door near this side of the store with checkout making it easy to get in and out quickly. read more

As I make my entrance, I catch sight of the organic veggies. Great selection. I continue to look for the natural foods. I am accustomed to Kroger having a section for that. I didn't want to tour the entire store, looking at foods that disgust me. As I continue, I notice each aisle has a natural food section. I enjoyed my visit, but had to leave. I am 100% vegan and wasn't impressed by my visit. There was nothing new to me, kombucha selection was very few, fruit& veggie picks were great, customer service awesome. Those people that work in the bakery need a food cart license. They will knock you down trying to get to various areas to put....YES. ...bread and chicken out. Twice this has happen to me. One day they are going to injure someone. Can we say LAW SUIT? Other than that it is a swell place. Glad they are giving wally world some competition. read more

Best produce section around! Anytime we go in, all of the fruits and vegetables are fresh! The best selection of anything and everything. Their selection of cheese is amazing, their selection for vegan/vegetarian food is amazing! They also serve as a place to shop for quality clothes and hygienic products. I absolutely love the seasonal section that they put out for holidays, too. Beautiful products for great prices. I love it! read more

My husband and I love our new Kroger Marketplace! Everything we need and MUCH more can be found in this beautiful store. The produce area is so nice and includes a fabulous selection of fruits and vegetables even a nice organic section. Also this Kroger provides a fantastic fruit and nut bar, a bakery, deli, wine selection plus a beautiful food court and a Starbucks. Of course, they have a huge pharmacy section, even a big clothing area and lastly a seasonal area. The staff is so very friendly and there to help in any way. Everyone seems to always have a smile and welcoming attitude. Thank you Krogers for bringing this fabulous marketplace to Grovetown! We love it! read more

Solid grocery store, love the sushi! Produce is usually pretty good, the cashiers and baggers are always super friendly, and even the workers just moving things to be stocked are friendly and ask if you need help finding anything. Great place through and through! read more

Had a wonderful experience at the Kroger in Grovetown. We were getting gas and clipped the water bottle display. The person that was left in charge was a real idiot. In stead of asking if we were alright she said" Look what you did" and asked for a driver license. We were on the at phone trying to get help, but she needed the license that second. The fender bent and was hitting the tire. It was three hours hours until we could get a tow truck. Not once did she attempt to see if she could do anything. I can't believe they left someone so stupid in charge of a store even if it is a Kroger. Kroger is not known for their customer service. read more

Second time I've shopped at the store, so if anything changes in a future trip I will change my review. We walked up the deli counter where 3 employees were standing around talking and preparing pre-packaged meats and cheeses. My husband stood in front of the counter for a few minutes without being acknowledged, employees made eye contact multiple times but never said anything to us. Also while checking out our self check out was having issues and kept requiring staff assistance, the store manager walked up, but instead of providing assistance required us to continue to wait while she got another employee to assist us. I have been to many other Kroger's across the Midwest and have not felt as disrespected as I did today... read more

Business when it opened was the bomb, but it has wemt down since then, discontinued many item, tookway olive bar and bakery good, no more delicious cupcakes all cakes are now frozen breads are also not as good. read more

Love the store but really wish you would keep the organic products together. Is hard for my elderly mother to shop here because everything is so spread out. Like how Columbia Rd and Washington are stores have an healthy section so probably will drive the extra miles to shop there. read more

I love Kroger, but this location needs some better trained baggers. We had one bagger stand there playing on her phone, letting the groceries pile up and the others don't seem to know which items should be bagged together. When I take the time to place my groceries in a certain order on the conveyor belt (i.e. meats & cheeses together, dry goods together, etc.), I expect the baggers to do their jobs properly and not bag my deli meat with canned soup. read more
