I like this store. It's very clean. The Grovetown one is my preference over the one on bobby jones.

How do I love thee... let me count the ways... First I'd like to tell the reader that they have TWO…read morepick up locations. If you don't want to go to Evans, there is one on Broad St. across from the Kroc Center. I usually park there, it's after 5:30 and skip across the grass. Remember to bring some reusable bags to get your stuff! Meanwhile, I tried that "green store that takes much of your paycheck" and found it to be seriously disappointing! I mean let's get serious here... level 1 meats are about the same as any other grocery and NOT why I'd pay so much more. I was so excited to find this website locallygrown.net which has locations all over (so I'm totally saving it in case I move again). The "store" opens online on Friday with how much of what is available from real local farms and artisans. You scoop up the goodies and pay to make sure you get that last share of jalapeños... then pick it all up on Tuesday night. They have veg, fruit, all kinds of meats, dairy, flowers, herbs, candles, soaps, baked goods... etc. Go, have a look! You can chose from grass fed, organic, pasture raised... all of the things I adore. I found the size of share and freshness to be very good. Make sure you check everything and don't leave without some greens... like I did. Everything seems to last so much longer because it's fresh! I wish I had found this years ago...

Stop eating crap and start eating great ingredients and fresh foods available from local farmers. I…read morecan't say anything bad about the Augusta Locally Grown (ALG) they are so well organized and offer a lot for the money. Of course, ALG links farmers to consumers via the internet. Orders are placed every Friday at noon thru Sunday at 8pm. Buyers have two locations in Augusta to pick up - Evans Town Center or West End bakery in the old Harrisburg community of Augusta. We haven't really been to a grocery store since beginning with ALG back in June. We order fresh milk, pasture raised eggs; grass fed beef and pork; vegetables galore from farmers who have now become acquainted with me. I support the local farmers, eat well and all at a modest cost. Once you start with ALG you'll always wonder why you spent your hard earned money at the chain stores. Buyers also get to know their farmers and the farmers are always eager to answer your questions about how they farm organic, etc. I buy all of my meats for the month and re-stock the milk, eggs and veggies weekly. Always something great to prepare for meals!

I have never felt more close to home than when I've entered this store!…read more From seeing all of the snacks and beverages from my childhood to the fresh tamales and churros by the cash register, I just absolutely love and am obsessed with this everything in this small business. Anything you are looking for when it comes to the Mexican culture, you will most likely find here. In the back they do have a carnicería, also know as the meat section. On Saturdays the sell barbacoa, and on Sundays they sell menudo! Tamales, pork or chicken, can be bought any day of the week! The location itself is a little small but there is no shortage of supplies so I am completely okay with the size of the store itself!! Everything is so authentic and i just feel at home when making conversation in Spanish with the workers. I am a little sad it took me over a year to find something that hits so close to home, but you can bet you will find me here at least once a week!

This place is pretty small, but they pack a lot into it. Candies, pastries, produce, meats and spices, there's a little bit of everything. The homemade chorizo is delicious, which by the way, the mass produced stuff is adequate but it can be too fatty. Their homemade salsas are right up there with the chorizo. Also bought some candies and little Mexican cookie/marshmallow treats my grandpa used to have all the time. Most definitely coming back here for a refill on supplies!

Wow! Times are tough and wallets thin, Aldi's the cheapest groceries have been! I don't know why I…read moredon't shop here all the time! This is going to be my new solution to household budgeting. This grocery store has almost everything I would've bought at Publix or Kroger. Fresh vegetables, artisan cheeses, cafe bustelo, charcuterie meats, family size chicken breast packs, pop, fruit snacks, paper plates, toilet tissue, frozen foods, eggs, cereal, condiments; they have everything. The only thing missing was K-cups, fresh gnocchi, and Birdseye steamables. But, if shopping this cheap means I can stretch my budget, I'm all for it! Cleanliness is top notch and the store was well stocked and merchandised. Don't forget to bring a quarter for the cart and your own bags for your purchase.

Aldi started out for me as just a cool store to visit. I have grown to absolutely love this store…read more Its always clean and bright with so many options. I most certainly go to Aldi just to see what I can see, and find new things to try. I will buy produce here, but have learned that when I buy it I have to be ready to use right away. Ive purchased many of the different types of breads and cheeses. So while I love Aldi, I do have one teeny weeny complaint, which is not a ding on the store at all. More like a word of caution. On my most recent visit, I purchased shredded cheese and Tomato Pico de Gallo because we were having quesadillas for dinner. Well... the pico had to have an entire jalapeño in it, seeds and all, and I am not the spicy food type. Even with that, my only complaint is that the package should have said HOT! I ended up removing most of the jalapeño, added some salt, lime juice, and chopped up a few frozen shrimp I purchased (at Aldi), and made a fake ceviche. AND!! I found thee cutest insulated bag, that I will try not to forget when I go grocery shopping.
