Nice enough store. A wide variety of goods, maybe not top quality, but you can find some great deals here.

I just asked a question to an employee and was hung up on- NOT a good way to earn business...... just letting the owner know.

Turns out, nature doesn't make generic almonds and I'm not paying $7.99+ when I can get it for $4.99. I could go on and on about the price comparisons but I wouldn't be adding to the body of Grovetown Aldi knowledge. I find that produce at Aldi is BETTER than what I've found at Kroger up the street. Call me stingy but I've returned fruit and veggies that started showing signs of rot a day or two after I purchase them. I have yet to do that with Aldi. Does that mean that everything is flawless in the produce department? No, you still need to dig from time to time and use your olfactory skills! There's a handful of things I won't budge on and go to other stores but it's worth it to me to go here and save! Hot: All nuts, Penguin Cheese Crackers (Goldfish equivalent but tastes lighter in a good way), Dried fruits, Winking Owl wine isn't bad, condiments (ketchup is good and comparable to Heinz), Veggie Straws, Chicken Broth with low sodium, cereal (Aldi brand Honey Bunches of Oats, Chex and Shredded Wheat are all delish), batteries (near the registers)....clearly I can go on. Heck Ya: Almond Flour, Flaxseed, Chia Seeds, Quinoa...all here at a reasonable price!!! There are gluten-free options but I can't really speak to that. Did I mention, much to my surprise their coffee is pretty dang good. I'm a coffee snob but I can get down with $3.99 coffee that is actually palatable. Not: I'm not a fan of their paper towels or tissue. I used to love their wipes but for some reason the dispenser keeps detaching from the package and I have a ton of unusable wipes. Maybe I'm the Hulk?! I've tried their pizza in the cooler section by the frozen items, not a fan. They aren't awful but don't hit a home run in the taste department. Miscellaneous: I love looking at their seasonal aisles. I've picked up cute silicone heart pans, kid's pjs, succulents and more for a fair price. The staff is helpful and friendly, which is icing on the cake! They are fast at the checkout so I never dread waiting in line. Being your quarter for the cart and your own bags and you my friend, you are a super smart shopper with money left over! Beware, Starbucks is conveniently located across the street...they tend to get some of my money left over. Ha!

This place carries a hint of that Teeter familiarity but stretches wider, almost like someone blended a neighborhood grocery with a scaled down Walmart and then polished the edges so it still feels like a supermarket rather than a full blown everything store. Groceries, softlines, a few appliances, long aisles that seem to go on forever, and that slightly dizzying sense that you could wander for a while and still not see it all. She was taking it in with that mix of curiosity and surprise that makes a simple errand feel like a small field trip. Dinner became its own little puzzle. We drifted through the heat and eat section, which always looks promising until you realize nothing is quite calling your name. The frozen aisle had its own appeal, mostly because the cold air felt good, but everything there felt too heavy for the night. The deli sandwiches looked fine but not inspiring. So we circled back to the basics that never let you down: a bag of grapes, some sliced cheese, two tomatoes that looked like they had been waiting for us, and a loaf of bread. Simple ingredients, easy to assemble, and perfect for sandwiches made in the Sprinter, which somehow always taste better when you put them together on the road. Self checkout was a breeze, just a quick scan of everything and we were rolling back out into the evening without any fuss. A smooth little stop, the kind that slips neatly into the rhythm of a travel day and leaves you feeling like you made the right call at every turn. One option was marked as buy one, get one half off, so I grabbed a couple. At checkout, they only rang up with $1 off. I showed the cashier the sign, and she quickly noticed the deal had expired the day before. I mentioned someone should probably take the sign down, and she immediately agreed and said, "You're absolutely right, but I'm going to honor it for you." That kind of customer service is rare these days--I've been to other stores where they wouldn't do that. I truly appreciated it, especially since I hadn't even noticed the date. Just another reason I'll keep coming back!

Anything you are looking for when it comes to the Mexican culture, you will most likely find here. In the back they do have a carnicería, also know as the meat section. On Saturdays the sell barbacoa, and on Sundays they sell menudo! Tamales, pork or chicken, can be bought any day of the week! The location itself is a little small but there is no shortage of supplies so I am completely okay with the size of the store itself!! Everything is so authentic and i just feel at home when making conversation in Spanish with the workers. I am a little sad it took me over a year to find something that hits so close to home, but you can bet you will find me here at least once a week!

Also bought some candies and little Mexican cookie/marshmallow treats my grandpa used to have all the time. Most definitely coming back here for a refill on supplies!

The aisles and restrooms were the cleanest of all the Krogers. Secondly, stock and inventory. The diversity of products supported with items being in stock was impressive. Granted this is a large Kroger, so they have more room, but to see rows and rows of the same item in stock while providing diverse item choices was simple impressive. Third, due to the size, they were offering sections you wouldn't see in a typical Kroger or grocery store. This Kroger even had a clothing section. Kind of reminded me of Target or Walmart (but better). Their bakery section and produce area were about the same as others, but definitely fresher. Plenty of parking and helpful staff roaming the aisles helping out customers or ensuring items were stocked. Definitely glad I decided to check this place out since it was so close by. I walked in, filled out a piece of paper, waited a few minutes, got the shot, got the gift card, and was on my way! They have a really good deli at Publix that makes better subs than Subway, PubSubs they're called. They bake the bread fresh in the morning and they use Boars Head meat, not the cheap meats that most other delis use. With the aforementioned ten dollar gift card I got for letting the pharmacist play flu shot darts on my left arm, I went right over to the deli and got a PubSub, a bag of chips, and a soda! The sub was so big that was my lunch for two days. Whoever says there's no such thing as a free lunch obviously doesn't know about Publix. The reason I've deducted one star is because this place is a little pricier than I think it should be.
