    Sooooo beautiful

I already love love love Publix, but this is my favorite Publix store EVAHHHHH. When I walked in, it was like "ahhhhhh". This store is so clean it looks like you can eat off the floor. Their selection of products is AMAZING. The staff are friendly and super super helpful. And there are the other things that make Publix a wonderful store - the bakery (I've even flown from Texas to Georgia just for that wonderfully delicious buttercream), the deli, the meat department, and their selection of ready-to-go foods like salads and iced tea. My only complaint (and this is not about this store, but Publix in general) - I really hate that you stopped making cheesesteaks on the grill, and that some of the cakes are now made in a facility instead of in the store. The cheesesteak in the "convection oven" just isn't the same. It just tastes like a warm roast beef sandwich. Publix is a little more pricey that other grocery stores, but it's often worth it. Keep up the great work, Publix.

I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a cake for my sons birthday so I went to see what Publix had to offer. The staff was very helpful with helping me place my order and picking out colors and flavors of the cake. When it was time for pick up, it was ready on time and the staff asked if I needed anything else's. The customer service is amazing. The party was a success and everyone loved the cake. It was the right touch, beats spending hundreds of dollars on a fondant cake any day.

Publix has THE best ready to eat fruit! HANDS DOWN! Find them bowled up or in a ready to eat parfait in the produce section. California rolls are $5 on Wednesday's. It truly is a pleasure shopping at Publix! The workers greet you wherever you are in the store and they actually notice YOU as the shopper, the consumer! Music, atmosphere is always pleasant and never overly crowded. There's even a senior citizen recognition! Prices are fair but the quality is even more amazing. Keep up the stellar service Publix!

Public is always a great grocery store to shop at. They're stores are usually clean and staffed with friendly individuals, but I must say.. that they're cakes are hands down - THE BEST! I was extremely pleased with my birthday cake [basket weave]. It was fresh, beautiful, & lasted a few days! I highly recommend purchasing a cake from Publix.

I love this store, it's by far my favorite grocery store in town. Employees are super friendly and helpful. Pharmacy is knowledgeable and go out of their way to assist. They have a great variety of foods and extras.

And if you have insurance the shot itself will either be free or at very little cost to you. I have Tricare so it was completely covered. I walked in, filled out a piece of paper, waited a few minutes, got the shot, got the gift card, and was on my way! They have a really good deli at Publix that makes better subs than Subway, PubSubs they're called. They bake the bread fresh in the morning and they use Boars Head meat, not the cheap meats that most other delis use. With the aforementioned ten dollar gift card I got for letting the pharmacist play flu shot darts on my left arm, I went right over to the deli and got a PubSub, a bag of chips, and a soda! The sub was so big that was my lunch for two days. Whoever says there's no such thing as a free lunch obviously doesn't know about Publix. The reason I've deducted one star is because this place is a little pricier than I think it should be. I mean they sell really good quality products, but like the milk is the same milk they sell at Walmart so why is it so much more expensive?

The prices are definitely steep, even in comparison to somewhere like Publix. Whilst in the store, I saw several shady individuals smoking inside with backpacks on. Yet management didn't do anything about them. The second I exited the store I felt like I was going to get mugged. Some other shady individuals (whose pants were sagging) all were conjugating outside the entrance. One of them said to me, "Who you looking at N-slur." Another one asked, "What you have in the (grocery) bag N-slur" When I got to my car one of them was walking towards my car. Now I don't know if he was going to do anything, but the whole thing felt extremely sketchy. I wouldn't want to come back to the store unless they had some sort of security to keep thugs and rift-raft out. Because unless you want to be mugged, shopping here isn't a great investment!

Turns out, nature doesn't make generic almonds and I'm not paying $7.99+ when I can get it for $4.99. I could go on and on about the price comparisons but I wouldn't be adding to the body of Grovetown Aldi knowledge. I find that produce at Aldi is BETTER than what I've found at Kroger up the street. Call me stingy but I've returned fruit and veggies that started showing signs of rot a day or two after I purchase them. I have yet to do that with Aldi. Does that mean that everything is flawless in the produce department? No, you still need to dig from time to time and use your olfactory skills! There's a handful of things I won't budge on and go to other stores but it's worth it to me to go here and save! Hot: All nuts, Penguin Cheese Crackers (Goldfish equivalent but tastes lighter in a good way), Dried fruits, Winking Owl wine isn't bad, condiments (ketchup is good and comparable to Heinz), Veggie Straws, Chicken Broth with low sodium, cereal (Aldi brand Honey Bunches of Oats, Chex and Shredded Wheat are all delish), batteries (near the registers)....clearly I can go on. Heck Ya: Almond Flour, Flaxseed, Chia Seeds, Quinoa...all here at a reasonable price!!! There are gluten-free options but I can't really speak to that. Did I mention, much to my surprise their coffee is pretty dang good. I'm a coffee snob but I can get down with $3.99 coffee that is actually palatable. Not: I'm not a fan of their paper towels or tissue. I used to love their wipes but for some reason the dispenser keeps detaching from the package and I have a ton of unusable wipes. Maybe I'm the Hulk?! I've tried their pizza in the cooler section by the frozen items, not a fan. They aren't awful but don't hit a home run in the taste department. Miscellaneous: I love looking at their seasonal aisles. I've picked up cute silicone heart pans, kid's pjs, succulents and more for a fair price. The staff is helpful and friendly, which is icing on the cake! They are fast at the checkout so I never dread waiting in line. Being your quarter for the cart and your own bags and you my friend, you are a super smart shopper with money left over! Beware, Starbucks is conveniently located across the street...they tend to get some of my money left over. Ha!

I most certainly go to Aldi just to see what I can see, and find new things to try. I will buy produce here, but have learned that when I buy it I have to be ready to use right away. Ive purchased many of the different types of breads and cheeses. So while I love Aldi, I do have one teeny weeny complaint, which is not a ding on the store at all. More like a word of caution. On my most recent visit, I purchased shredded cheese and Tomato Pico de Gallo because we were having quesadillas for dinner. Well... the pico had to have an entire jalapeño in it, seeds and all, and I am not the spicy food type. Even with that, my only complaint is that the package should have said HOT! I ended up removing most of the jalapeño, added some salt, lime juice, and chopped up a few frozen shrimp I purchased (at Aldi), and made a fake ceviche. AND!! I found thee cutest insulated bag, that I will try not to forget when I go grocery shopping.
