A really crammed and outdated 1980's Kroger. I went for coffee and beer. The beer selection was really lackluster of local craft beer. And the Starbucks has no bakery items.

Went here for lunch just to pick up some fruit. I usually purchase the pre-cut fruit. Although it's usually more expensive, I get a variety of fruit. Kroger is my go-to store and no matter what location I visit, I always get good service and great deals.

Love this Kroger, probably because of the Starbucks attached to it...lol. Kroger has the best sales, especially on meat! One perk is being able to use your Kroger card for discounts and then being able to go get gas at a cheaper rate. It's always busy but that never stops the associates from trying to assist when you're in need. The great produce and service is a deal maker for me!!

It's August...isn't it a little early for Halloween decor??

Publix Super Markets - Chicken & Waffles

Publix is amazing! And if you have insurance the shot itself will either be free or at very little cost to you. I have Tricare so it was completely covered. I walked in, filled out a piece of paper, waited a few minutes, got the shot, got the gift card, and was on my way! They have a really good deli at Publix that makes better subs than Subway, PubSubs they're called. They bake the bread fresh in the morning and they use Boars Head meat, not the cheap meats that most other delis use. With the aforementioned ten dollar gift card I got for letting the pharmacist play flu shot darts on my left arm, I went right over to the deli and got a PubSub, a bag of chips, and a soda! The sub was so big that was my lunch for two days. Whoever says there's no such thing as a free lunch obviously doesn't know about Publix. The reason I've deducted one star is because this place is a little pricier than I think it should be. I mean they sell really good quality products, but like the milk is the same milk they sell at Walmart so why is it so much more expensive?

The meat is fresh and more competitively priced than even big-box stores! What complements the selection is the quality of service. The prices are definitely steep, even in comparison to somewhere like Publix. Whilst in the store, I saw several shady individuals smoking inside with backpacks on. Yet management didn't do anything about them. The second I exited the store I felt like I was going to get mugged. Some other shady individuals (whose pants were sagging) all were conjugating outside the entrance. One of them said to me, "Who you looking at N-slur." Another one asked, "What you have in the (grocery) bag N-slur" When I got to my car one of them was walking towards my car. Now I don't know if he was going to do anything, but the whole thing felt extremely sketchy. I wouldn't want to come back to the store unless they had some sort of security to keep thugs and rift-raft out. Because unless you want to be mugged, shopping here isn't a great investment!

I really, really like Aldi! It took me awhile to come around, only because of genius marketing…read moreploys that make you think "brand name" means better. Turns out, nature doesn't make generic almonds and I'm not paying $7.99+ when I can get it for $4.99. I could go on and on about the price comparisons but I wouldn't be adding to the body of Grovetown Aldi knowledge. I find that produce at Aldi is BETTER than what I've found at Kroger up the street. Call me stingy but I've returned fruit and veggies that started showing signs of rot a day or two after I purchase them. I have yet to do that with Aldi. Does that mean that everything is flawless in the produce department? No, you still need to dig from time to time and use your olfactory skills! There's a handful of things I won't budge on and go to other stores but it's worth it to me to go here and save! Hot: All nuts, Penguin Cheese Crackers (Goldfish equivalent but tastes lighter in a good way), Dried fruits, Winking Owl wine isn't bad, condiments (ketchup is good and comparable to Heinz), Veggie Straws, Chicken Broth with low sodium, cereal (Aldi brand Honey Bunches of Oats, Chex and Shredded Wheat are all delish), batteries (near the registers)....clearly I can go on. Heck Ya: Almond Flour, Flaxseed, Chia Seeds, Quinoa...all here at a reasonable price!!! There are gluten-free options but I can't really speak to that. Did I mention, much to my surprise their coffee is pretty dang good. I'm a coffee snob but I can get down with $3.99 coffee that is actually palatable. Not: I'm not a fan of their paper towels or tissue. I used to love their wipes but for some reason the dispenser keeps detaching from the package and I have a ton of unusable wipes. Maybe I'm the Hulk?! I've tried their pizza in the cooler section by the frozen items, not a fan. They aren't awful but don't hit a home run in the taste department. Miscellaneous: I love looking at their seasonal aisles. I've picked up cute silicone heart pans, kid's pjs, succulents and more for a fair price. The staff is helpful and friendly, which is icing on the cake! They are fast at the checkout so I never dread waiting in line. Being your quarter for the cart and your own bags and you my friend, you are a super smart shopper with money left over! Beware, Starbucks is conveniently located across the street...they tend to get some of my money left over. Ha!

This grocery store has almost everything I would've bought at Publix or Kroger. Fresh vegetables, artisan cheeses, cafe bustelo, charcuterie meats, family size chicken breast packs, pop, fruit snacks, paper plates, toilet tissue, frozen foods, eggs, cereal, condiments; they have everything. The only thing missing was K-cups, fresh gnocchi, and Birdseye steamables. But, if shopping this cheap means I can stretch my budget, I'm all for it! Cleanliness is top notch and the store was well stocked and merchandised. Don't forget to bring a quarter for the cart and your own bags for your purchase.

Aldi started out for me as just a cool store to visit. I have grown to absolutely love this store…read more Its always clean and bright with so many options. I most certainly go to Aldi just to see what I can see, and find new things to try. I will buy produce here, but have learned that when I buy it I have to be ready to use right away. Ive purchased many of the different types of breads and cheeses. So while I love Aldi, I do have one teeny weeny complaint, which is not a ding on the store at all. More like a word of caution. On my most recent visit, I purchased shredded cheese and Tomato Pico de Gallo because we were having quesadillas for dinner. Well... the pico had to have an entire jalapeño in it, seeds and all, and I am not the spicy food type. Even with that, my only complaint is that the package should have said HOT! I ended up removing most of the jalapeño, added some salt, lime juice, and chopped up a few frozen shrimp I purchased (at Aldi), and made a fake ceviche. AND!! I found thee cutest insulated bag, that I will try not to forget when I go grocery shopping.
