Went again yesterday and really felt this place has improved a lot! They did lose our order but got to us eventually, and to be fair the staff was overwhelmed by the large amount of people there. The ice cream was not runny this time, and we were given a very decent amount. Definitely a better experience.

The best place in the world. I LOVE any eatery that tastes exactly the way it smells. When you arrive here, the air smells soooooo sweet and pleasant. I hope they never ever close, I hope they never remove White Turtle Ice Cream or Waffle Cones/Bowls from their menu. Please try it out, double scoops!

Good'ole Brusters. Gotta love it.

Busters is always my one stop shop after being at Urban Air. I love the waffle cone with 2 scoops of Birthday Cake and Cake Batter. The new seasonal cone Apple Crunch is absolutely to die for.

First time here - staff was sweet. I am not a huge ice cream eater but wanted to try their vegan ice cream. Unfortunately they only had one flavor (cookies n cream) which didn't excite me so I decided to take the plunge with a hot fudge brownie sundae. Fudge was nice and warm, brownie not bad, lots of whip cream and not a lot of ice cream. Ice cream was good. My friend had the cherry vanilla ice cream cone which he really enjoyed. Service was quick so definitely would recommend if you are in the area looking for ice cream.

Went here before the movies. It was ok. Honestly rather go next door to the fro yo place, or sonic, or DQ, or really anywhere. Wasn't that impressed. I will say that the customer service was good though.

Love their ice cream/custard. It tastes so good, yet I only indulge once every blue moon, to avoid having to live at the gym.

They have a number of stuffed and warm cookies to choose from. I couldn't decide on just one flavor and so opted for two! This was a bit of a mistake as their cookies are really large and dense which I discovered when the worker placed the first box with one cookie on the counter before me and it made an audible kerplunk. My goodness! I got their chocolate peanut butter cookie as well as a sugar cookie. When I realized how ample the cookies were, I gave the sugar cookie to the hotel clerk at my hotel, so I can only speak to the chocolate peanut butter cookie. It was sweet and delicious. I will note that their cookies are very sweet. I don't eat sweets often so the rich sweetness of one cookie was a bit much for me. Were I to go again, I'd probably split one with a friend. That said, the cookie was warm and ooey-gooey. It's kind of an inside out peanut butter cup with a peanut butter cookie surrounding a fudge-y chocolate center. If you like a chocolate/pb combo--this cookie is for you! The workers were lovely. I walked in with no familiarity with the biz and the clerk immediately gave me the rundown of their cookies and how ordering works. They were all so nice in here! If you're looking for an indulgent sweet treat, Dirty Dough has you covered! Get to it!

Southern charm, incredible lunch, legendary desserts, and truly wonderful service…read more Boll Weevil is one of those places that feels like you stumbled into something special. From the moment you see the brick building and walk inside, you get this warm, classic Georgia café vibe. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It is the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy. We came in for lunch and everything was outstanding. I had the Curious George, which is turkey topped with spinach dip and provolone cheese on sourdough bread. It was absolutely fantastic. Warm, savory, and perfectly balanced, it felt like true comfort food done right. It also came with a fresh side salad and great dressing that honestly could have been a meal on its own. My boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and nachos, and both were big wins. The quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. The nachos were fully loaded with seasoned beef, black beans, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plus salsa and ranch on the side. The portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. Then came the desserts. We tried chocolate cake, carrot cake, and red velvet cake. We ordered half slices and they were still huge. Every single one was incredible. The red velvet and carrot cake were made with real cream cheese frosting. The carrot cake was rich and moist. The chocolate cake was deeply decadent. Pairing the carrot cake with a cup of their coffee was the perfect finish. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and exactly what you want with dessert. We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Reagan, who was incredibly kind, beautifully stylish, and so helpful with my boys and me. She gave great recommendations on dishes and portion sizes. Her warmth and attention truly elevated the entire experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, unforgettable desserts, and exceptional service, Boll Weevil is now officially a must stop every time we are in Augusta. Come hungry. Save room for cake.

Turkey and rice soup was very salty, not warm enough. The bread on our sandwiches were not a good quality... and not fresh Sides with sandwiches were subpar.... Regular chips on one and tasteless pasta salad on the other.

It's not inexpensive but you can certainly taste the quality. I had a scoop of bourbon salted caramel ice cream and a scoop of butterfinger ice cream. They were fantastic! My wife had a scoop of the banana pudding ice cream and a scoop of the coffee crunch. She loved them both. It's a small establishment but for a dessert after a nearby meal, this is definitely worth the effort of driving to. People were friendly and the store was clean. So it wasn't a total surprise to find that they have decided to move to suburban Augusta. The new shopping center they've chosen was otherwise still under construction when I stopped in, but several groups of people had found this place and were shopping for ice cream. I imagine on a nice summer day there will be a line when word gets out. Not a lot of really top end ice cream around here, but this place knows how to infuse flavor. A more caramel and cookie creation complemented my dark and bitter chocolate. The chocolate came with Andes mints inside, which sounded nice but honestly could hardly be tasted because the flavor of the ice cream itself was so strong. Premium local ice cream isn't cheap, but here I did get a heaping portion size as I watched more flavors being created in the back of the shop.

Ambiance: 5/5 Parking: 5/5…read moreDessert: 5/5 I came here after visiting the River Walk! I visited this place while traveling on a hot, sunny weekend right when it opened, and it was an utter pleasure. Parking: there's plenty of street parking. I parked right in front of the dessert cafe. Free parking. Ambiance: it's a dark themed place with grey walls, a luxurious plush couch, and a dungeon-ish feel. It's more Halloween themed kind of style than luxurious. It's a cute mix of orange and black-grey themes. There's soft upbeat music in the background. Right when it opens is a great time to go! I nearly had the whole cafe to myself! Dessert: I ended up getting their pineapple cheesecake with cheesecake snow. It was light, fluffy, creamy. It's similar to Korean shaved ice or a lighter Italian shaved ice. It melts in your mouth and releases the sweetness. You can build your own and they have premade flavors such as turtle cheesecake, amaretto romance, cotton candy, vampy sour, orange dream, I love you Cheryl much, Mexican candy, pina colada. I ordered large, and I could definitely finish it all for myself! This is a chain that started in California. They start with a proprietary base, mix in the flavors, freeze it into a block, shave it, and then decorate it. In addition, the worker informed me that some of the cheesecake flavors have a homemade purée, with the strawberry cheesecake being the most popular. I'm 100% visiting again when I come back to Georgia!
