Enter the restaurant at 8:53pm to place an order. Was not greeted by team members or leadership but was told that " we aren't taking any more orders ". However the time was 8:53pm. Online and the sign on the window says closing time is 9pm. And there were 5-6 people in line when entering the restaurant Bad service, rude teams And it was embarrassing for me because I spoke highly about this restaurant to my out of town family members that were me. Every time I go to this location, the portions get skimpier and skimpier, and the price continues to go up. How many times do I have to visit the store to know and realize it's a complete SCAM. What you are saying right now in the picture I included is what they call a quart size not a individual portion but a shareable portion. Honestly, I was better off getting a "gotta have it"..... if you value the money, you earn and don't wanna get scammed like I have been so many times.. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.. Went into my local Cold Stone for some ice cream with my husband about 30 minutes before they closed. You would have thought we came in five minutes before closing. I got something really easy to make and my husband's wasn't crazy either. The two young people serving the ice cream just had really bad attitudes. It was completely off putting. I began with a "hey, how are you?" to the young black man, and actually got no response... my husband also got no response from the other young person with glasses and a mask on after thanking them. I've worked many years in food service before and having no decent manners in that job (especially one that asks for tips) is really unsettling to me. Thankfully, there was a very sweet young brown haired girl working the computer. She was extremely sweet and obviously well versed in customer service. But it is disheartening to know that the three of them probably all share tips and hers could be getting tanked from the other twos' attitudes. I'd also be very upset if I were the manager running the store and wasn't able to trust young adults to be friendly and positive to customers while away. I understand that it's the end of their shift, but it is quite literally their job to be nice and serve ice cream. Just basic manners is all I care for. The ice cream was good of course- it's cold stone. But I'm hoping when we return, we're met with some smiles and how are you's! read more

This was a fun late night adventure- Coldstone is awesome and has many great flavors! I think they have very decent positions, and the place itself had ample waiting room. I will say the staff seems new, so they are still learning how to make everything, but they were very kind and welcoming. Will definitely be returning! read more

I changed my mind after arriving and seeing no employees up front and then seeing one come out from the back playing on his cell phone a minute or so after I arrived and asked me what I wanted without even making eye contact. I tried 3 flavors (Oreo Overload, Chocolate Devotion, Cheesecake Fantasy, $6 each) from Cold Stone. It is interesting because each size is $6, no matter small/medium/large. Most people would end up ordering the largest size, and it is big enough to share with friends. Maybe a downside to this is that you end up eating more than you want and that you are almost forced to spend $6. It was my first time at Cold Stone, so I didn't know that they mix the ice cream and the topping of your choice right in front of you! I liked how icecream and toppings mixed in well. They had abundant selection of flavors and toppings, and their icecream was very thick. I liked the oreo & the cheesecake flavors more, but they aren't something unique to cold stone. I took my ten year old daughter and her friends to get ice cream on a busy Friday evening and they were packed (as usual). Although the store was packed, the line was moving quickly. My daughter ordered the Lemon Pie Ice Cream with GOLDEN OREO® Cookies, Graham Cracker Pie Crust & Whipped Topping and she loved it. Her friends just got cotton candy and gummy bears. The total came to about $13. This time around I didn't get anything, but my go to creation is cake batter with graham cracker crust, white chocolate chips, and yellow cake. I went to cold stone today with my wife. The ice cream we had was delicious. The customer service was horrible. The person waiting on us just had a horrible attitude. She did not answer our simple question of how big something was. Truth is she talked down to us. If my wife had not been in the mood for ice cream I would have walked out. This was in Grovetown, Ga. I hope no one else going in there gets treated the way we did. We were in there on 5/13/24 around 11a.m. After we sat down to eat the ice cream both went in the back and never saw them again. we were the only customers and felt like no one else was in the building. Very interesting. For mine and my boyfriend's first time coming here it was great. It was so busy but it wasn't packed so everything was all good. Took my daughter here as we were in the area. Didn't look at the reviews, but I really should have. Honestly, the prices make NO sense here. Every. Single. Thing. is the SAME PRICE regardless of size. And it's not cheap either. $6+ for some ice cream. I guess if you were to get a milkshake or the gotta have it, you'd be fine, but for everyone else, it'll hurt your wallet. It looks like prices have been this way for a while now as the lady told me she's been working here for 5 years and prices have been the same, yikes. I wasn't expecting much ice cream since it was a small, however, the amount the young lady gave didn't even constitute a small. I had way more bowl than ice cream (a dollop of ice cream). I didn't make much fuss because from my vantage point although there was 4-5 other employees in there she was the only one working. Mom treated me to icecrem to day. It was Great! Got to have it! Watermelon, lemon, orange, sorbet. And as usual, slightly crowded on a hot and humid day, but the line moved quickly. I love the fact that they are always send you coupons in the mail and that all three sizes are the same price. The only problem I have is that the workers do not wear gloves while making /preparing the ice cream So I always watch them very carefully to make sure they do not touch any edible part of my ice cream. read more

Anything can be mixed and matched but they have a pre made menu thats pretty good! If you can stay for the wait and have a little patience then I promise you won't be disappointed! This has been a go to place for me all around the US for about 5 years. I've never had a bad experience personally so I encourage you to dive in and get your fix! I have been to a lot of these ICE COLD CREAMERIES FROM HEAVEN! My husband treated me out and i have to say I was a little disappointed. First, all sizes of ice cream are the same size...so the little gotta try it is the same price as gotta have it.....$6.50. Second, I wanted a chocolate dipped waffle cone. Why is this a problem and you have to fresh dip it (in old chocolate) and fresh chill it (again with old chocolate). Then you say to me...."we were all out". Well NO KIDDING SIR/MA'AM....BUT YOU MUST MAKE MORE...or prep better for your day. This kinda seemed like they wanted me to just decide to get the un-chocolate'd waffle bowl. THIS IS NOT HAPPENING! MUST BE CHOCOLATE WITH WAFFLE BOWL! Third and finally, My husband is the sampler of the ice-cream and sampled at least 5 different ones before ultimately deciding on what he always does MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP. I am not the sampler, and I went outside my comfort zone and tried their dark chocolate ice-cream because my husband had a frowned up face when he tried it so i knew it had to be good. It was more than good it was amazing! I mixed in cherries into the dark chocolate ice-cream and chocolate shavings into my cherry ice-cream. I know, poetic right?! It was amazing. Im not a big fan of Coldstone's ice cream. (I think Marble slab tastes a lot better) What keeps Coldstone in my treat rotation is the fair pricing. (All sizes and any fixings are $4.99). Throw in the fact that they give half price discounts to military and I think the price point meets product quality. Not a bad option if you are looking for a sweet tooth fix.....just know that you wont likely be blown away and you'll probably be waiting in line a bit to be served. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. We've given this location three chances and every time we've been disappointed. The staff often seems frustrated and overwhelmed. Each Time we've ordered the 'founders favorites' they have never got it right. This time it was just ice cream, chocolate sauce and walnuts...the ingredients are listed on the wall so it's hard to figure out why the consistent inability to make it. Despite the staff seeming flustered and rushing the line moves incredibly slow, plan a 30 minute wait from walking in the doors to walking out. The shoppe it's self is clean and their soda and cakes are well stocked. They need to improve their staff training and knowledge. As well as the flow of customers. Three poor experiences are enough, we will not be returning. read more

The only downer was the churros were prepacked and microwaved on order, but they're an ice cream spot, not a churro factory. This cold stone is ok. I'm from Maryland so when I came to this cold stone it was considerably different. I don't like the fact that they weigh everything. I watched as who I assume to be the owner take a little off what he originally scooped out just a little which I thought was crazy. So I asked for Oreo in one of my ice creams that had no other mix ins and it was a love it size. He only put one Oreo in it i was at least expecting 2 for the size that I got. My husband and I placed an online order (due to COVID-19). We each added 4 -5 items to our Love-It and Like-It sized ice cream. around a 20$ order for 2. Got home and opened our ice creams......and were utterly disappointed to find that it looked like our ice creams had barley 1 mix-in. Were ridiculously melted (when we live less than 5 minutes away, so obviously it didnt take long enough for it to melt). These things look like they had been sitting out, (when they are suppose to prepare them and place them in a fridge to prevent that from happening). I mean typically people order from cold stone and are willing to pay higher prices because the ice cream is great, you have the option to create, and customer service usually isn't that bad. Overall, very unhappy given we basically paid for overpriced soup. Will not be ordering online from this establishment again. Keep in mind we have been here before but ordering in. Customer service here is something we deal with given its the only Cold Stone in our area. These people that work here manage to ruin the idea of customer service, but I think that is Augusta as a whole. They love ripping people off or perform at an amazingly Sub-Par level for Customer Service. Always grouchy like they hate coming to work, behave as its a burden. They look at you like "Hurry Up and Order". We are only customers. As I said my husband and I have been there before. Typically always run into the same problem.
