I chose the chocolate raspberry, and it was easily the best chocolate raspberry ice cream I've ever had. The chocolate chips paired beautifully with the bright raspberry flavor. I'm not usually a fan of chocolate ice cream, but this one completely changed my mind. The service was quick and friendly, though the line can back up when a crowd arrives all at once. This parlor has handicapped accessible parking and accessible entry with a wheelchair ramp lots of options for ice cream and friendly staff. First time here , what a nice clean establishment. Staff is nice but could be a little bit more friendlier . I wanted a certain flavor of ice cream but the guy said he didn't have enough for one scoop . It probably could've made enough for a kids cup . He could have offered a half of scoop of one and a half scoop of another flavor to make up the one scoop but it wasn't offered.Oh they will not put sprinkles on an ice cream cone. The ice cream was really good tho. Very reasonable priced , family friendly. Need a trash can outside. Other than that no complaints. I would recommend to everyone . It's really a cute little ice cream shop with plenty of seating areas. Have a few stairs in the front leading up to the front door and newly redone handicap access on the right side over by the fence . They do have tap pay. The single scoop of the salted turtle is very satisfying. Sweet and salty. Rich and creamy. I expected them to be a lot busier when I went in. Then, a crowd came in. Right now, this is one of my favorite places for ice cream in Aiken. They have a festive paint job in the sitting area. This adds to the fun of eating here. Part of Aiken's quintessential small-town downtown, this shop offers the charm you'd expect. Ample indoor and outdoor seating are available. While I didn't find mint, I did find a raspberry truffle flavor, which I got in a shake. It had chocolate candy pieces in it, and I like getting those sorts of things in shakes; even though the remaining bits sometimes stop up a straw, it is a dynamic experience. The raspberry came through for sure. They had one non-dairy flavor, which isn't a ton but is probably one more than a lot of shops in this state are likely to have. I came to Aiken on vacation and looked for local eateries. I found Flannigans Icecream and put it on my list. I'm so glad I did. The didn't not have the cookie sandwiches unfortunately. I went on a random warm day in the middle of a cold week when it was not very busy. I could smell the waffle cones from outside the door! I would have to say one of the best ice cream shops in Aiken thus far. And what I really love about this place is exactly how small it was but yet it held everything that you could imagine ice cream shop. In a way they had a lot of flavors that I could have never found much in other locations say for example Augusta North Augusta Martinez Grovetown. Honestly been wanting to try this place out as well but the thing is is that they don't open till 2 p.m. so if you plan on coming here make sure you have something to do like for example walk or even check out the stores in the area. A hard time choosing a flavor of ice cream but eventually especially with the help of another customer who was familiar with this ice cream shop I eventually tried Captain's chocolate which is like a smooth triple chocolate ice cream and I loved it. It was the best chocolate ice cream I've ever tasted. I feel like I couldn't get enough of it perhaps next time I will try the banana cream pie or even Peach. We were pleasantly surprised that this place was open till 9 PM on a Sunday night! We came in randomly with a sweet tooth, and boy did this place hit the spot! I had the banana cream pie flavor in a cake cone, and I have to say it was one of the best flavors I've ever had. They special-made an ice cream cake for a birthday for me and it turned out perfectly. It looks and tastes amazing. You do need to give them several days notice as there is quite a process to creating an ice cream cake (I learned!). There was a layer of delicious cake with incredible ice cream; the "icing" on the cake is actually ice cream, too. It tasted really good, it was rich and tasty and everybody wanted seconds.
