I'll start by saying I'm not a funnel cake lover, I prefer elephant ears. For those of you who think they're the same, that's blasphemous. Walking into the Funnel Cake Factory, my nose was hit with the delicious smells of fresh made funnel cakes and my ears with the jams playing over the speakers. It was a party! We explained it was our first time here and before the cashier could respond, the person before us responded "oh it's good, you'll enjoy it!" We were shown the descriptive menu to see what was included in each funnel cake and even given the option to make our own. After making our choices it wasn't long before our number was called to pick up the delicious funnel cakes. And please believe me when I tell you they were delicious. My Cheesecake Lover included large chunks of cheesecake, slices of strawberries, strawberry syrup and powdered sugar. The only caution I will leave is start small, I ordered a regular for my first time and wasn't able to finish. That was upsetting.
It's a restaurant that sells funnel cakes. Period. They have cinnamon rolls also. You can literally get whatever you want on it plus ice cream. You'll pay a pretty soon price and I'm sure the calorie count is astronomical, but if you like that short of thing then this is your place. The actual funnel cake was delicious and a good size, but without the fair ambiance. The deco in restaurant is lacking, but food is worth the trip if you are just in the mood for a ... you guessed it funnel cake.
Instead of waiting to go to the fair to get a funnel cake, you can have one all year round. Their funnel cakes are the best and they have so many different options and flavors to choose from. They also have a points/rewards program where you can get some money off or even a free item.
I have been here more then 10 times and I'm just now posting about it. I've had a wonderful experience every time I have been. They tend to always be busy so just be patient with them. I promise it's worth the wait. You can customize your own funnel cake or you can get a special one. You can't go wrong with either choice. They are priced well for the amount and size they give you. You won't be disappointed. They now have smaller sizes so you don't have to share or feel guilty about eating one on your own . They continue to do very well and definitely check out their empanadas as well. They are delicious!!
Holy moly! This was delicious and the portions were huge. I ate the one with strawberries, bananas, Oreo ice cream caramel. Simply the most amazing combo. 10/10 recommend!!!
If you're craving fair food, then you'll love this place. They offer tons of yummy and creative options. It's well worth the money!!! Their specialty funnel cakes are topped with so much at least two people can eat from one. The interior is minimal, but the funnel cakes are far from minimal.
Soon as the cheetah girls started playing I knew this place was a hit!! Very fast service and I really like that! Friendly staff helpful when picking out funnel cakes as well, overall definitely worth trying!
Let me just say I never thought we were getting actual cheesecake slices. I could personally do away with the graham crackers. They were alittle to much. But everything else delish . Next time I want to try the banana pudding one.
Ordered to-go. Ordered the Oreo cheesecake with cinnamon added. It was delicious!!! Was surprised to find ice cream under the whip cream. I will most definitely be back!!!
I LOVE funnel cakes, so to find out there was a whole funnel cake lounge next to my house I couldn't get there any quicker. I've only been twice but I have yet to be disappointed. I encourage everyone who loves a good funnel cake to come out!
We were staying overnight in Augusta and we were picking up dinner at a Japanese restaurant & saw this place and decided to go in. First, for a fun funnel cake store they need to do more with inside decoration. That's really the only critic I have though. We got the red velvet funnel cake topped with brownies, cookie crumbs and chocolate ice cream and it was amazing! We shared it between two people. I also picked up some watermelon cotton candy for my daughter. I wish they had one of these places back home in Birmingham. Go, if you are near by!
I went there with my friend today for the first time in its first minutes of opening. I got the strawberry shortcake and it was nothing like I've ever tasted before. If you're anything like me, I don't like super sweet things but the cakes have just the perfect amount of sweetness. If I could go back and get more today, I would. The strawberry ice cream is literally to die for. I can't explain it but it has the freshest taste, you'll just have to taste it for yourself. The shop had the cleanest look to it. Definitely would go get some.

We visited Funnel Cake Lounge today. We had a lovely time listening to easy listening vintage pop and r&b while waiting for our orders. I ordered the mini "Where It All Pecan"; a construction that includes a funnel cake, topped by a hunk of pecan pie, topped by a scoop of pecan ice cream, covered with whipped cream, sprinkled with pecans and drizzled with caramel. Just wow. It's quite the confection. My guest had a regular sized (covers the plate) "Cheesecake Lover" creation covered with strawberry syrup, sliced strawberries and powdered sugar. She was silent for quite a while, so it must've been good. She said it was. The Funnel Cake Lounge is a new business so the walls are mostly bare, but there's lots of space. Now that things are opening up post-Covid, it could be a nice spot for groups to gather pre/post trips to the nearby movie theater. There was certainly a steady stream of patrons, so it looks like they're off to a great start. read more

Truly a Gem in Augusta- the place is definitely one of a kind! The cakes are all fantastic and super fun, and they are huge so you could definitely share them if needed. The place always has huge lines so highly recommend arriving early if you want to get a funnel cake. However, the cakes are definitely worth the wait and are 10/10! Super crispy and with a generous load of toppings that is great for the price. read more
Been meaning to come here forever. We went on a Saturday night. (5 pm) It was completely empty. The first thing you notice is the decor (or lack of). The interior needs some help. The walls could use some paint and are pretty bare. All of the seating is pretty random. For the actual desserts; I ordered the "Count My Dough". Funnel cake + Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream + four raw cookie dough balls + chocolate drizzle. It was pretty good. It was a funnel cake. I can't ever recall having a bad one. I think next time I will build my own. I prolly could have used two scoops of ice cream. The kids loved it of course. They have some crazy choices. (A blue funnel with Cookie Crisp cereal.) I'm sure we will return now that we finally made the trek. read more

What a cool local spot! The funnel cake was good. The service was good. The atmosphere was young, friendly, and chill. I'm happy to have this place nearby! My only complaint is that they should know the product they are serving--funnel cakes! They should have better utensils to eat with. The ones they have are much too flimsy for funnel cakes. Get better utensils, guys. Yummy treats though! read more
