Now if you know me, you know my weakness is pastries (among other various foods, drinks, and the occasional vinyl record). Focaccia, muffins, danishes, all of it! But, a very close second is cake. This may come as a surprise if you know my upbringing, which was mostly cobblers and pies. I just love the layers, the textures, the beauty in presentation. And at the top of these are lemon and strawberry centric cakes. Fold in it being my birthday (lazy pun intended) and you have a recipe for a great experience (pun #2). My doorbell rang. I checked the video and there was stood someone with a brown and blue paper bag. What could this be? They handed me the bag and I immediately began to smile, having seen the logo. But my happiness grew as I reached inside and pulled out a trio of lemon cakes! I had to at least try one (it was my birthday after all). A sample began the first cake. A few hours later, the second had disappeared. I did manage some restraint and saved the third for the next morning. Moist, flavorful, the perfect shade of yellow. And with a bow on the container. I placed an order online on May 5 for 1 qty of Butterflies Bundtinis, custom assortment 12ct flavors with Butterfly toppers, Happy Mothers Day flag and a custom message card saying Happy Mothers Day to my mom and to be delivered between 4:30pm-5pm. I rec'd a call after 4pm from staff member (won't mention the name) informing me they were out of the butterfly toppers. I asked to not put any toppers and was told I'd be reimbursed for them. Not only was this order delivered 30mins late (driver stated store wasn't prepared) but the order was wrong and embarrassing. The flavors were not as requested and there was "Best Dad" toppers, mustache toppers and hat toppers on the bundtinis along with no custom card. I contacted the store immediately to be told by another staff member (won't mention the name) they apologize and I will be reimbursed for the full order. We are now 19 days and still no call back from the store manager as to when I'll receive the reimbursement and each time I call to follow up, I'm given a different reason as to why this hasn't happen. read more

So I'm pretty particular about who I trust with my sweets cravings. I don't get them often but when I do I like the homemade classics (cobbler, cookies, pound cake). I rarely seek out processed treats. The thing about a Bundt cake is not everyone can make one. So a year I avoided this place. I simply saw it as a novelty. In fact I hadn't heard anyone speak about them honestly. So my bestie and I are out and about doing some home decor shopping and she mentions her daughter likes the cakes at the shop a few doors down. We decided to swing in. Cute little shop with cute mugs and other dessert plates etc. In the cold case I see full sized Bundt cakes, mini Bundt cakes and yes even "minier" sizes Bundt cakes (you have to buy those by the dozen). Various flavors and sizes to choose from, I found myself frozen with the difficult decision of "what flavor". Birthday cake was the sample of the day. Tried it and was pleasantly surprised at how moist and good it was. Do I buy Birthday Cake? Do I buy my all time favorites, Red Velvet or Carrot cake? Or do I try something I'd normally avoid like Pecan Praline? Seasonal like Pumpkin? Decision time... A few minutes later I walk out with a favorite, Red Velvet and some thing new for me, Pecan Praline. The Red Velvet was fire. I'm not usually a fan of chocolate chips in anything but cookies but it was nice to have that crunch with the moist cake. The Red Velvet was a nice flavor. Happily there was no artificial taste to it. I was very pleased. The Praline was moist but not very sweet. Normally, I'd prefer it that way but I ended up eat it as a coffee cake. Literally. With coffee. In all fairness, I should add that while they're not overly iced, I scrapped some icing off of them both. My second visit later in the same week, I doubled down on the RV and made Carrot my second pick. Didn't disappoint. Overall I really enjoyed these. I think they'd be a really cute and yummy gift and I could easily see the mini Bundts on a tree versus cupcakes. I think this little bakery is a welcomed addition to our area. When I want a quick, sweet treat, it will definitely be Nothing Bundt Cake. read more

ok wow...where do I begin? My friend and I had always wanted to check this place out whenever we went to ross or ulta, but we always went at such odd hours that this place would always be closed. Finally, on our last day of finals we decided to treat ourselves with some cake! I typically love these cakes and the service at their various locations. However, after visiting this location I doubt I will return. After being inside for less than 30 seconds, I was told to "hurry on up. We have a line." The woman at the cash register quickly hurried me into making a decision. I stated that I had a coupon and she sarcastically responded "good for you." When I went to use a gift card (the whole purpose of driving 20 minutes to the store), she told me it would not work on her machine and I would have to pay with a card. I explained how I came for that purpose and she said something to the effect of "oh well." After paying with my card, she said "oh yeah it works on the other side." What great information to have known before paying! I love that this business was booming and had many customers waiting to go inside. However, the main reason was due to their limit of customers inside the restaurant as a result of outdated Covid restrictions (according to DHEC). My mom mentioned a few times that she wanted to give this place a go. Fast forward to me coming into time to try it out. We're so glad we did and plan on going back again before I leave town. We walked in on a cloudy overcast (about to rain) day. There were a couple of girls with samples of their chocolate chip cakes that we couldn't pass up. It was amazing! There were many options and it was hard to pick just one. We went with the carrot but I'll be back for their seasonal strawberry and cream one. The cake wasn't overly sweet and there wasn't too much of the frosting either. It was perfectly moist and balanced in flavor. We brought it home and enjoyed it with a cup of coffee. One thing that I must mention is the level of customer service that we received. Everyone there was so friendly! As it was time to leave it started to sprinkle rain.
