It's always clean and the AC is kicking. I enjoy the shopping experience here, even though it is expensive. I shop across the street at Fresco y Mas because I can save more money there. But the quality if products here seem so much better. Oh, you gotta get the sugar cookies from the bakery. The aisles are always clean and the bathroom smells fresh. I come to this Publix because is very chill. Not the crazy crowd from the other ones around the area. I guess Target cuts in their profits, or cuts in the crowd. I always stop by the bakery to get my bread. Lately that's the bread I buy. The deli serves the freshest meats, according to my better half. There is one of my favorite liquor stores right next to it, so stopping by is a must, sometimes. They also have a pharmacy and a Blockbuster Express kiosk. Bottom line, this Publix is pretty pretty good. read more

I've only stopped here on one occasion when I happened to be in the area and needed to grab a few items to prepare dinner. However, from what I saw, this seems to be one of the better Pubix stores with more options and a better selection than most. It features a large bakery, deli and a prepared foods area that is also quite large. Checkout lines also seemed to be relatively short for a store this size and considering the number of people who were shopping here. read more

While I was born in Miami, I was raised in Hollywood and consider myself a "Broward Person". While I do cross the Dade/Broward line for sporting events, I rarely go shopping outside of a 15 mile radius. I was outside of my comfort zone, if you will but still managed to get by in a Miami Publix. Upon walking up to the store, I saw a window with a Gatorade water cooler and thought "interesting" but then I remembered the large Latin population and thought, "coffee window" and it was!!! Wow, this was a Publix first for me but hey, they are catering to their market (pun intended). The Publix was old but it had been refaced with the current upgrades except the floor so it had that vintage supermarket feel. The set up was different but I managed because the signs were in English and Spanish (gracias). They had the slowest cashier on the "Express Lane" but again, I guess it's to be expected if you're running on Latin time lol! read more

Ambiance: Busy and spacious Deals: Always This has been my "standard" grocery store for years. Prior to it being Publix, it was an Albertson's (before they left South Florida). They are far more spacious than other Publix locations that I have been in South Florida. I know of several other locations which are significantly smaller and their inventory is much more condensed; not here. Their staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The true test of any supermarket or related is how they are on the "busier" days of the year and this Publix has proved itself on this Thanksgiving Eve. Although I'm always prepared ahead of time for big meal days like this there are always a couple of last minute things that slip your mind! I dreaded walking into the supermarket but I knew this location wouldn't let me down! I look around and see, the mob is controlled, the shelves have remained stocked and all the holiday essentials have been strategically placed in places that can deal with the high traffic! Then, it gets better, there are no lines because every available register has a cashier ready to man it! I'm glad I have something else to be thankful for this year, a reliable Publix with knowledgeable staff ready to lend a hand to their customers gearing up for the holidays. read more

This is my favority Publix ever! (Bold statement, I know but I love the wide range of food offered at Sabor.) If you are into ethnic foods, then this place has all the right ingredients to cook meals from around the world. Aside from that, the aisles are wide and its very clean. The only downside is that its very Hispanic-oriented, so if your Spanish is limited you might not love it as much as I do. read more

I hate food shopping. it is somewhere between going to the dentist and running out of gas. But somehow, this particular publix makes it almost fun. What's that? Yup. The isles are nice and wide, everything is neatly stocked, there's plenty of everything and the staff are so sweet! And, best of all, if they see the lines get longish they open up other registers. Compared to other Publixes I have been to, I would have to admit that I wouldn't put this one on the top of the list because they don't seem as organized as the other ones. Their frozen aisle section seems to be at the middle of the store, and their product displays don't seem eye-catching at times. But honestly, that is just my personal preference, and I tend to have weird taste. Like all Publixes, they have friendly staff members, a wide variety of grocery items, and are very welcoming! Each time I have gone here though their lines have been exceptionally long, so be patient when you have to pay. Word for the wise: I won $50 off a scratchie one time here, so their scratchie vending machine may be lucky. Just saying! read more

I generally love to shop at Publix but this one is not one of my favorite stores. It has the slowest deli ever & I don't know where to find stuff in this one because it's not my regular Publix. I love this Publix Sabor Latino! The grocery store is very clean and organized. The produce at this particular publix is always fresh. Never have I seen the Greens wilted or the fruits spoiled. The customer service is beyond excellent! I also enjoy the bakery where you can get a Cuban colada, cortadito, croquettas, pastelitos, and Cuban toast bread! read more

The staff is very kind. I went and was going to purchase some roses and a couple of the stems were broken so a manager I believe he was, Alejandro, told me that I could have it for free. Friendliest Publix in Miami! The managers do their jobs well and take great pride in this location. Particularly, Mr. Rivas, the Produce Manager, will always help you with a smile and make sure you get exactly what you need. All products are well organized throughout the store, floors, restrooms, shelves, and cases are always clean, wait lines are rarely longer than two customers, and there's the added "Miami feel" bonus you get with the authentic Latin presence. They had 8 open lanes which made check out very fast. I wasn't greeted by any employee while shopping but I did use their free wifi. That's always a pulls with me . No baggers offered to help with. Overall A-ok. read more

Not too long ago, I communicated my disappointment with a popular sandwich franchise. Luckily, the deli at Publix Sabor allows me to satisfy my sub-sandwich cravings and prompts me to share my 6" whole wheat joy with the world. Today was one of those days. I knew I wanted a sub and I knew it needed to be from the Publix Deli. Sabor (located 2 blocks away) never disappoints and seemed to be waiting for me to order today. I walked up and was greeted by a sign that read: Today's Special- Boar's Head Deluxe 6" Sub...perfect. Can we stop a minute and talk about the bread? Other sub shops wish they could bake such tasty and hearty bread! It was the perfect vehicle to deliver my mixed deli meat sub and the garnish of lettuce, tomato, black olives, and O&V that accompany all my sandwiches put lunch over the top. To the employee that made my tasty lunch, the store managers that make shopping there such a 'pleasure', the bakers and everyone else behind the scenes, thank you. This is THE go-to sub stop-- bar none. I will return to satisfy my sub- sandwich fix when the urge hits again. Slow service and the employees spend their time gossiping instead of servicing the clients. Spoke to the manager NESTOR and he didn't even apologize for the poor slow service he basically ignored me and this behavior perpetuates this poor service. We are paying customers that don't have time for "breteras" and attending to customers that will actually turn a profit and providing basic customer services is key. If you don't make your yearly plan Th is the reason why. Get your act together this isn't Cuba. read more

This new Publix Sabor is well stocked and a welcome addition to Westchester. The old depressing tiny publix has been transformed into an inviting and modern space. They have a few more Latin ingredients than most publixes. This location has a good produce section including a tropical juice bar, many prepared Latin hot foods, and bakery items like Cuban bizcochos. The aisles are wide enough and there are plenty of employees to help you with your queries. read more

Our neighborhood Sabor is amazing. Great selection of ethnic foods and the deli has stepped it up. Minimal wait time for your weekly share of Publix Sweet Ham. My favorite is the produce manager. He always greets you with a smile and offers his assistance. Try the roasted chicken with Mojo and the freshly made sushi. read more

This is not my neighborhood Publix - but was pleasantly surprised at what a nice store this was. It's quite new, and they have a great selection of both organic and latino food. It's almost as if this Pubix is a bit schizophrenic as they really don't know yet to whom they are accommodating, which is fine because I like random - and the store is spacious, clean and well lit. Don't be scared to come here - even though it's kinda hidden in the corner of the shopping center to the left of Target - you will probably be as pleasantly surprised as I was. :) read more

At this Publix, shopping truly is a pleasure! So it's that time again when you're out of groceries and in need of a fridge refill. At this particular Publix, you will find friendly staff, smiles as you walk through the door and people actually eager to help you out. The store appears to be clean with its shiny floors, fresh produce (without any flies in sight) and the things you may or may not need are usually easy to find. This Publix is great, but like everything it does have it's negatives. The parking can sometimes be a pain during busy hours and the "viejitos" are all over the place when parking. If you are going to the Deli, pack some patience because they do take a long time. However, the ladies working there are SUPER nice and friendly. They have a separate line for people that want subs or hot food which is a plus for those in a rush that don't want to wait around for their number to be called. They always have fresh fruits and veggies and a pretty big selection compared to other smaller ones. The store is big and variety of food. The managers are all very nice and willing to help if you have a problem. Once, the manager gave the lady in front of me a free item because the computer rang up the wrong price. They stated that it was store policy, so I thought that was nice and I guess more of a motivator to look at those prices. The cashiers are always very nice as well and make you feel like a "neighborhood" grocery store. It is predominately Hispanic, but they do understand English. I usually shop at WinnDixie, I find it to have better deals & I love getting money off my gas total but before I moved to Miami I've always been a loyal Publix shopper. This Publix is huge, with plenty of lines open & selection. They do have some pretty good deals too. But the main reason I come here, is the sushi! They always have fresh sushi, and a lot of times you can watch the guy actually make the rolls, yumm! read more

Its actually a pretty good Publix if you don't include the deli. The deli at this location is very slow. Call ahead to the deli is sometimes best option but then you can't see what and how they cut your meats/cheeses. Other than that, not too bad. read more

I used to love this Publix, but unfortunately I have no desire to go back here. The deli is staffed with 4 employees & only 2 of the 4 were serving customers. The other 2 were acting busy, but refused to help any customers. This is not the first time ive had this happen to me there. They made eye contact several times & saw that people were waiting, but they kept prepping or doing whatever it is that they pretend to do just to not have to call numbers & help the customers. Another thing I've noticed, is they've been running out of things & not restocking. Prior, this was never a problem, but lately it's been a huge problem. Anyhoo, this love affair is over. I need to go create a new relationship with the Publix on 107th ave & 16th street now. read more
