    Publix at night

It's always clean and the AC is kicking. I enjoy the shopping experience here, even though it is expensive. I shop across the street at Fresco y Mas because I can save more money there. But the quality if products here seem so much better. Oh, you gotta get the sugar cookies from the bakery. The aisles are always clean and the bathroom smells fresh. If it wasn't for the prices, I'd shop here more.

I come to this Publix because is very chill. Not the crazy crowd from the other ones around the area. I guess Target cuts in their profits, or cuts in the crowd. I always stop by the bakery to get my bread. Lately that's the bread I buy. The deli serves the freshest meats, according to my better half. There is one of my favorite liquor stores right next to it, so stopping by is a must, sometimes. They also have a pharmacy and a Blockbuster Express kiosk. Bottom line, this Publix is pretty pretty good.

Nice and organized, great customer service, the only downside for me is the organic selection, it is very VERY small comparing to other publix or publix sabor. But besides that.. Great great publix!

While I was born in Miami, I was raised in Hollywood and consider myself a "Broward Person". While I do cross the Dade/Broward line for sporting events, I rarely go shopping outside of a 15 mile radius. I was outside of my comfort zone, if you will but still managed to get by in a Miami Publix. Upon walking up to the store, I saw a window with a Gatorade water cooler and thought "interesting" but then I remembered the large Latin population and thought, "coffee window" and it was!!! Wow, this was a Publix first for me but hey, they are catering to their market (pun intended). The Publix was old but it had been refaced with the current upgrades except the floor so it had that vintage supermarket feel. The set up was different but I managed because the signs were in English and Spanish (gracias). They had the slowest cashier on the "Express Lane" but again, I guess it's to be expected if you're running on Latin time lol!

Ambiance: Busy and spacious Deals: Always This has been my "standard" grocery store for years. Prior to it being Publix, it was an Albertson's (before they left South Florida). They are far more spacious than other Publix locations that I have been in South Florida. I know of several other locations which are significantly smaller and their inventory is much more condensed; not here. Their staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Bottom Line: Highly Recommended

The very first supermarket that I went to, when I was living in Miami. I may be planning to go there and shop there real soon

The pharmacy here is terrible. I will be changing my prescription location immediately.

CVS Pharmacy is a chain retail store that sells prescription and over-the-counter…read moremedications as well as other health products, hygiene products, cosmetics, cleaning products, foods and beverages, etcetera. My husband and I shopped here one time. We purchased candies, soda, deodorants, a razor, and more. The prices were high compared to other retailers' prices. The razor was locked up, so I had to ask an employee to get it for me, and she promptly did so. We used the self-checkout, and we experienced no problems with the machine during our scanning and paying. Because of the high prices, I definitely would not recommend shopping here frequently, but the store had what I needed.

I couldn't recall any other details regarding cutting photos and such, SO-- -- I called this CVS before I needed the passport photos to verify if they do cut them. Lady on the phone said "yes as long as you come in before 9:30am". I asked again to verify, she gave me the same answer. I arrive before 9:30 the next day, and the lady at the photo area said they do NOT cut the photos. This lady at least did not seem visibly irritated when I did not move forward with taking photos and found a different place that did cut them. ULTIMATELY, if you are reading reviews for the same reason I was-- as of August 2025 the French embassy HAS A CUTTER AND ACCEPTS WHITE BACKGROUNDS! 1 star based on THIS experience. I was better off not getting my call answered so I would have skipped going here in the first place. So do go and get your passport photos taken here for $17.99 for 2 photos OR! To save some $$ instead, Create your own passport photos using those photo-adjuster-to-passport-size websites, get on the CVS website to upload then print to 4x6 size, USE A COUPON, pick it up, then VERIFY THAT THE SIZE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS (in my case, the face needs to measure a certain amount within the photo). The French passport photo size would have made 8 photos in that 1 4x6 print and cost .25 pre-tax with the coupon. Had to make this review so I have a reference 10 years from now lol Hope this helps someone else!

Yelp Fam, We're back…read morewith another review this time in Miami, at the downtown CVS. If you've been following my other reviews, you may have noticed a pattern: I was in Miami for less than 24 hours, getting ready to board my cruise. And of course, I forgot that one essential item--toothpaste. Thankfully, there was a CVS nearby. It was literally a 5-minute walk (with walk signals) right to the store entrance. I really appreciated the layout and convenience of this location. You can actually see the cruise ships from the store, which made it even more ideal for travelers. I was able to grab all the essentials I needed, and the staff was helpful in pointing me to the right aisles. Checkout was seamless and quick. This location also carried a wide variety of items--especially travel-sized products--which is perfect if you're heading out on a cruise and realize you forgot a few things. I really liked this CVS, probably because it saved my life and had an extensive travel essentials aisle. Unlike the CVS locations I'm used to back home, this one had more options--likely because it's in a prime tourist area where people remember everything they forgot to pack at the last minute. I would definitely recommend this CVS location to visitors.
