I loathe going to this place. I'd rather have a root canal than go here. This is probably the worst Walgreens (or pharmacy) location that I've ever been to. I live down the block and, unfortunately, my insurance no longer works with CVS, so I'm forced to come here a lot. I've never seen such an inefficient and understaffed pharmacy. If I have to pick up a prescription, I allocate at least 30 minutes. I have literally wasted days of my time over the past two years waiting just to pick up medication. Worst service ever. I've had pharmacists refuse to fill women's health prescriptions here. I just got hung up on because they simply disconnect anyone who is on the line when they take a break. I called well ahead of break time because I need assistance not so I could sit on hold for 20 minutes and get hung up on. I have had a nightmare of a time trying to get a controlled prescription filled that has been out for apparently months at different Walgreens and not only did he help me fill my prescription- he helped me with another prescription and got my preferred manufacturer prescription filled as well, and even set up delivery for it. The auto system calls you to Inform you of your ready prescription, then you arrive and they know nothing about it and then you have to wait an hour and a half for them to prepare it. One of the worst. After three years, I said enough and changed insurance companies. Pharmacy staff ... I can't get a handle on. They seem to have a large staff, it's just never enough. Having an appointment for any type of vaccine seems to run ah hour late (no concern for the customer's time). Totally disorganized at pharmacy register. Plan to wait large amounts of time to pick up a prescription. Names about the three positions have no bearing. And don't expect the staff to smile and care....I found just the opposite. If you use the drive up...plan not to use a discount drug card (GoodRx, etc)....your prescriptions are processed only with insurance card. read more

The one thing I can't stand about this Walgreens is all the vagrants and soliciting that occurs at the front door. I mean seriously I'm not trying to say that I'm better than anyone but I just want to get my lollipops or witch Hazel and go home, I don't need to be harassed or asked the same question 10 times or followed to my car. While Silvia, the manager, was nice enough to listen to my complaint and make an effort to find a resolution to my issue (with the option of either a store credit or an exchange), the fact of the matter is that it shouldn't have come to the point of me wasting my time to call corporate twice during my workday, explaining the situation over and over to different members of the corporate team, driving all the way back to the store, and wasting my time. If that particular employee had done his job in the first place and offered me solutions when I came here initially, everyone would have been happy. Remember the saying "the customer is always right?" The employee I encountered simply could not be bothered, and lazy employees who think customers are a bother don't deserve to be working, period (or at least, not in a job that involves interacting with customers). Silvia, the store manager, was bubbly, friendly, and had a "no problem" attitude. I exchanged my cosmetic product for a children's cold medicine without issue, and left satisfied. It's a shame her employees don't also share her eager attitude, though, which is why I cannot justify giving the store a rating of 3 stars or more. read more

Deserves 0 stars. This place needs to be shut down. It's a danger having this place "open" to the public when their phone systems are shut off saying they're closed when they're actually open. There are unethical, borderline illegal things are going in this pharmacy. I should have filed a complaint at the FDOH and Florida Board of Pharmacy. In one instance they denied my husband's insulin! Three times they told him it was available for pick up in a course of about three weeks. They just kept giving him the runaround! When we went there the third time and the medicine was still not available, I told them I will hold them liable if he dies because all they do is keep staling and promising him his lifesaving medicine and now he is out of it. So at which point they miraculously found two viles!!! They had the insulin the whole time! What kind of practice is this? Are they holding the medicine for someone else or "some kind" of discrimination going on. Today, my husband was supposed to pick up my ointment from them. But they never informed him if they had the prescription or whether it was ready. So they didn't give it to him. Right away I called my doctor. The pharmacy told my doctor the ointment was picked up. So, I went to pharmacy myself and they told me they never gave my husband the ointment bc wait for it, it is not covered by my insurance. So they take it on themselves to assume I can't pay for it so why get it ready. A $25 tube of ointment!!! It seems they are in a business of not to sell and give out certain medicine period at least for some people without legal justification. Why they didn't they inform my husband of this when he was there? He would have paid for it out of pocket anyway. What kind of operation is this? Are they lazy to get the med ready, hoarding it, or it is a sick game of sabotage? Either way, they will lie or do anything not give out the medicines or the least they pick and choose as to who and what medication they give out. Not to mention, another time, I wanted to purchase Nicorette gum and the cashier didn't understand what I was asking for. Another customer had to come over and help translate for the employee. Overall such customer "lack-of" service is appalling from a major corporation and not to mention the pharmacy department is endangering the public's health. How they are not investigated internally or by the state or the board is beyond me. read more

Pharmacy never picks up phone calls, I called and called them waited on hold for 45 minutes , while still in hold I went to the pharmacy made the line (another 15 min ) and then finally reached the counter to be told my prescription wasn't even ready .. hence the reason for the god dammed phone call was to check if it was ready in order to go pick up and plan accordingly read more

The store staff is great, however, this pharmacy deserves all of the negative stars. You either have to pray to get through on the phone after waiting on hold for an hour (most of the time just to be hung up on after waiting), or go into the store and stand in line for over an hour (most of the time to be told that they don't know their head from their behind) to get anything actually taken care of or filled because the pharmacy staff is incompetent. read more
