This Publix is a solid option for both shopping, and for getting a cheap bite to eat, but it's nothing to get too worked up about. Overall, it's a great neighborhood grocery store with friendly folks, plenty of options and pleasant service. If you're just popping in to grab a few groceries, this Publix will do the trick! Now, let's get into the nitty gritty of this Publix. I've recently been able to try their food, and there are definitely some highlights. The best thing in my opinion about this Publix is their deli and their sub station. They make their subs with Boars Head deli meat on long loafs of bread. At Jersey Mike's, I can get a giant Italian sub for $18. At Publix, a similar sub costs me only $8, with only a minimal downgrade in the quality department. I'll be back at Publix for a future sub. Another cheap option here is the hot bar. The popular items are the fried chicken tenders and the wings. I can get a chicken tender meal with two sides for just over $9. I think it's a pretty good deal. Although cheap, the chicken tenders are nowhere near the best, in fact, they are typically dry from sitting out. Their sides aren't all that impressive either, and they never seem to have the potato wedges. It's a mistake going into the hot bar with super high expectations. Your goal should be to get a decent meal at a bargain, and if you think this way, then you will always feel like a winner! This Publix also has a bakery, which is easy to become fixated on, as it's one of the first things you see as you walk in. Their cookies and cakes are delicious. Their doughnuts and some of their other pastries have been hit-or-miss. Going through all the desserts is like entering the lottery, you might come out with a winner, or with a dud. Lastly, compared to other Publix's in the area, this one seems a little more cramped, and not as bright. However, I've never had one bad experience with the customer service. All attendants are friendly and helpful, which is why I will continue to shop and eat here, for as long as I live close. read more

I was in the area in early October, and wanted to buy some bananas for snacking on for the next few days. Parking in this big, free and shared lot is plentiful! I easily found available parking. This Publix is nice, clean, big and well stocked. Aisles were wide and it was easy to locate items. The produce area had great looking fruits, so I picked out a bunch of bananas. Checking out was very quick. Not much else to review since this visit was just a planned quick in and out. read more

The people here at the store are EXTREMELY RACIST AND DISRESPECTFUL. All of the white workers cut their eyes at you, follow you, and secretly watch you... This makes it a very disturbing place to invest, therefore I will not continue to invest in this business growth..I don't understand how these EMPLOYEES can have such bad attitudes towards the customers that allow them to keep their job! YOU PEOPLE HERE ARE DELUSIONAL. They also sell expired products. I picked up a frozen meal and the EXPIRE date was a month old..not best if used by .. Everytime, I go to check out, no one seems to give eye contact or say hello. This place is just miserable. It's DESPERATELY NEEDS new, friendly, and mature staff. I will continue to report this place multiple different ways and be sure to speak against shopping here to the community. read more

This Publix is my favorite local store. The staff is always nice and they are always helpful like always. _________________________________________________________ PARKING | [It's a big store complex, you will find parking without a doubt.] _________________________________________________________ EXTERIOR & INTERIOR | [The store is clear as day and its hard to miss form the outside. Service here is top notch and the staff makes sure that everything is organized, clean, and ready to go. They are very helpful and efficient like no other. When it came to Instacart, they made sure that you had all the right products and that your order is fulfilled correctly. Way better than Kroger. They continue to surprise me all the time.] _________________________________________________________ OVERALL | [Literally my favorite local store in the Sandy Springs area and will always shop here until the day I move.] read more

Don't waste your time with an online order. You're better off waiting in line at the deli being that the folks who wait in line are priority. I've ordered ahead 3x and each time I waited longer for my food than those who arrived after me to order in store. I don't mean arriving 15-20 minutes later.. I mean I arrived at least 45-1hr each time and on two separate occasions my food wasn't made. I placed the recent order at 12:50, arrived at 1:45 and didn't leave until 2:30. I enjoy the subs(when ordering in person)- employees are alright & truly not the friendliest folk to speak with. If you do order from here, just pull up and be prepared to wait.. you'll save yourself some time read more

Publix is a step above Kroger for sure. This place has a massive parking lot. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a bakery, deli, and wine section. I frequent this place when I need to grab something quick for dinner. I think Wednesday is sushi special night. You can get $5 sushi. They also have smoked turkey parts (wings, necks, etc.). In the butcher section, they have jerk meal kits and curry meal kits. These kits are very affordable and just have to be thrown in the oven. read more

They literally never make the online pub sub orders. It will place an order, show up 45 minutes later when it should be ready. No sandwich. i go shopping for 30 minutes and periodically check to see if they've made it yet. No sandwich. Guess I'll grab Wendys before my lunch break is over read more

TERRIFIC! From bottom to top, very helpful employees! I've conversed with the GM,Assistant Managers, Cashiers,Baggers - all good peeps. Everything I can think of is there, I never heard of,or experienced anything ever running out. The center stays extremely shiny and clean. Manager Bernard Owens and assistant Yhun Diaz are both ON It! Terrific SUPERmarket. read more

Ordinarily, I wouldn't write a review for a grocery store, but I have to tip my hat to the ladies in the deli for correcting a mistake. My boyfriend called a day ahead for a party sub. When we arrived, they informed us of some "bad news" that whoever took the order on the phone didn't write down which day of the week the sub was requested, so they didn't make the sandwich. However, they were quick to make us 3 regular subs for free because of their mistake. The lady who made our sandwiches even told us to go shop around while she makes the sandwiches according to our sub order, so we didn't have to wait too long either. When we returned from our shopping, she walked us directly to customer service and explained the situation to the manager on-duty. This particular Publix really does making shopping a pleasure. read more

What can you say about a supermarket? But this Publix consistently outperforms. Basically it is the customer service, and this one knows how to do it right. The folks in the sub department are especially helpful and this tends to be one of the busiest areas of the store. This Publix seems to be smaller than the others, but has everything we have ever needed. The small store with a big heart! For a treat, go to the frozen food section and get "Skyline Chili". This needs to be served over spaghetti and topped with shredded cheddar cheese. You will be thanking me profusely! read more

Went to pick up my son's prescription and it was about 5:54 pm and the lady there was locking up the gate and leaving Other than that most employees are helpful especially "Nadia" she's absolutely amazing ... always smiling... Few years back when she was at customer service she was great and now WHEN she's at the pharmacy she'll get my son's prescription without even me telling her the name (yes it tells a lot when you can remember a customer's name" which they have more employees like her... one thing I always have to check expiration dates on products because they don't seem to put much effort to that... read more

I go to this Publix pretty often, and every time I have been there the employees all seem happy to be working there and they're friendly with the customers. They also go out of their way to make your shopping experience better. I'm assuming he was a manager, but an employee offered to take my cart out to my car and unloaded it for me. I was shocked because I'm definitely not used to that at a local grocery store. If you need to make a stop for anything, I definitely recommend going here. read more

Ms. Karen was Utmost attentive. She was extremely polite, courteous, and helpful in answering my questions. She deserves a raise!! Truly provided the best "Publix Experience". Thank you Karen!!!! read more

Today, I went to the deli for a wrap sandwich. First, of all I'm standing next in line, but the lady behind the counter told the young man behind me to step up first. I told her that I was next and not him. I told her that I wanted a wrap sandwich, she put the whole pack of tomato wraps on top of the paper she was going to use. At that point I asked her for her name. I want to the manager and reported her. This happened on Sunday afternoon around 3:30pm. BE CAREFUL and WATCH OUT for her. read more

Thank you to the smart and beautiful Abigail at the pharmacy counter, helping my mother with her prescription and going the extra mile. And please take care of yourself too! read more

After moving down the street, I knew that this was my place. Actually just last week I tried a different Publix and it just ensured me that my publix is the best. The folks working here are really great and they really make an effort to make sure that you're happy. Most of them recognize me and they're even surprised when I don't have an entire shopping cart full of groceries. The store seems smaller than other Publixes and not as fancy as some of the newer ones but it literally has everything under one roof. There is always a great sale I have usually have to hold myself back from getting things I don't need. Also if you get scatterbrained during grocery shopping, you should download their mobile phone app. When you add things to your grocery list, it will sort the list into the location and will identify which aisle to find it in. read more

I love Publix it my place to shop... They are always clean, and well organized. The customer service is A+ , except at the deli. The Ppl that make the sub sandwiches never smile and as soon as you walk up they ask can I help you. It would be nice to get a hello, good afternoon or some small talk. Also, their is a guy there that fixes subs with a hairy arm. I'm not against him making my sandwhich, but with that much hair on his arms, I'm sure some has fallen into someone a food. I will return to this place because Publix never let's me down, but maybe they could provide the hairy arm deli guy with some long gloves or maybe a long sleeved shirt because exposed arm hair around food is unsanitary. read more

The people in the deli are supposed to be changing their gloves every time they move away from the deli area yet every time somebody needs to go into the cooler to get something new they don't change their gloves who knows how many people have touch the handle to the cooler or how dirty they are Today I actually had somebody argue with her changing her clothes clothes clothes if they cost a penny that's a lot read more

Soooo now I'm fed up never fails they always sell expired stuff. I ALWAYS check my dates but today I slipped on checking my organic raisins for my kids. The raisins expired in AUGUST!!! I'm annoyed that I have to get up go back to the store and return this like I've done several times before checking dates. When I was in the store today they had old stuff on the shelf that I caught. Be careful folks. All in all I do think they have a great staff of people. read more

Publix - Grocery Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

We like shopping here because it is in our neighborhood and nicer than the Kroger that is down the road. Like all Publix's, it is very clean and well organized and the management are always very helpful if you need something and see them out walking the floor. Publix costs a little more but I think that is the premium that you pay for having a clean store and I think some of their store brands are of better quality than the store brands in other supermarkets. I know people that have worked for Publix for a long time in another state and they are a very well run company. One of the best things about Publix in my opinion, if not the best thing, are their subs. Again, they cost a little more but you get a really good sub and you get a lot for your money. Back in my bachelor days, I got many a sub from Publix after a hard night of partying.....oh, the memories,LOL. read more

This is my goto publix One it is right across the street from my apartment complex service is always top of the line. I always get my seafood here and the steam my shrimp I always get them with old bay season read more

Great selection, friendly staff, and the prepared foods are good as well. Their prepared sandwiches (subs) are tasty. If you get some of their wings, you can have them sauced in one of several different flavors. read more

The deli at this location has a lady that loves to put way to much sauce on a sub!! If you want mustard, mayo, etc beware of the down pour of sauces that lay ahead. Your bread goes from zero to soaked in seconds. read more

As usual bright and friendly!! I LOVE shopping at Publix, at the risk of sounding like an advertisement, It really is a pleasure. Everybody smiles and greets you. Everyone you pass in the aisles smells like jasmine and lilac, and when you take an item off the shelf, another magically appears before your eyes to replace it! Okay, okay maybe it's not all of those things in reality, but I certainly have never had a bad experience at any Publix. Next time you're in one, check out the customer service mission statement that's posted behind the customer service counter. Having a customer service mission statement is commonplace, but when it's one like theirs...and they deliver on it, it says a lot about their philosophy on customer relations. read more

Really convenient to get to from my place and mode importantly friendly and helpful staff.

The buy one get one sales are endless. And all the name brand packaged goods are sold there. ]You can generally find what you want as national packaged good go. Sausages, canned fruit, frozen dinners, etc. Done. Although, IF a target or walmart has what you're looking for- it will be much cheaper. But I have a hard time finding the items i like specifically. http://www.dinewithdani.com/?p=1217#more-1217 read more

I like Publix...it's a lil pricier than it's rival but the quality is better. I do find that there are differences between what one store carries from another. I'm just glad that I can find Wise Onion & Garlick potatoe chips here...sometimes. read more

This publix is cool BUT the attendants are horrible. They never greet you and they never say thank you. If you're lucky they'll give you your receipt in your hand. I think I'll travel to the other publix or go back to Kroger. read more

I purchased a prepared Greek Salad and what I thought was Feta Cheese turned out to be Potato Salad. I called the store once I realized what it was and was told it is made that way.
