This Publix is a solid option for both shopping, and for getting a cheap bite to eat, but it's nothing to get too worked up about. Overall, it's a great neighborhood grocery store with friendly folks, plenty of options and pleasant service. If you're just popping in to grab a few groceries, this Publix will do the trick! Now, let's get into the nitty gritty of this Publix. I've recently been able to try their food, and there are definitely some highlights. The best thing in my opinion about this Publix is their deli and their sub station. They make their subs with Boars Head deli meat on long loafs of bread. At Jersey Mike's, I can get a giant Italian sub for $18. At Publix, a similar sub costs me only $8, with only a minimal downgrade in the quality department. I'll be back at Publix for a future sub. Another cheap option here is the hot bar. The popular items are the fried chicken tenders and the wings. I can get a chicken tender meal with two sides for just over $9. I think it's a pretty good deal. Although cheap, the chicken tenders are nowhere near the best, in fact, they are typically dry from sitting out. Their sides aren't all that impressive either, and they never seem to have the potato wedges. It's a mistake going into the hot bar with super high expectations. Your goal should be to get a decent meal at a bargain, and if you think this way, then you will always feel like a winner! This Publix also has a bakery, which is easy to become fixated on, as it's one of the first things you see as you walk in. Their cookies and cakes are delicious. Their doughnuts and some of their other pastries have been hit-or-miss. Going through all the desserts is like entering the lottery, you might come out with a winner, or with a dud. Lastly, compared to other Publix's in the area, this one seems a little more cramped, and not as bright. However, I've never had one bad experience with the customer service. All attendants are friendly and helpful, which is why I will continue to shop and eat here, for as long as I live close. read more

The people here at the store are EXTREMELY RACIST AND DISRESPECTFUL. All of the white workers cut their eyes at you, follow you, and secretly watch you... This makes it a very disturbing place to invest, therefore I will not continue to invest in this business growth..I don't understand how these EMPLOYEES can have such bad attitudes towards the customers that allow them to keep their job! I was in the area in early October, and wanted to buy some bananas for snacking on for the next few days. Parking in this big, free and shared lot is plentiful! I easily found available parking. This Publix is nice, clean, big and well stocked. Aisles were wide and it was easy to locate items. The produce area had great looking fruits, so I picked out a bunch of bananas. Don't waste your time with an online order. You're better off waiting in line at the deli being that the folks who wait in line are priority. I've ordered ahead 3x and each time I waited longer for my food than those who arrived after me to order in store. I don't mean arriving 15-20 minutes later.. I mean I arrived at least 45-1hr each time and on two separate occasions my food wasn't made. I placed the recent order at 12:50, arrived at 1:45 and didn't leave until 2:30. Publix is a step above Kroger for sure. This place has a massive parking lot. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a bakery, deli, and wine section. I frequent this place when I need to grab something quick for dinner. I think Wednesday is sushi special night. You can get $5 sushi. They also have smoked turkey parts (wings, necks, etc.). In the butcher section, they have jerk meal kits and curry meal kits. These kits are very affordable and just have to be thrown in the oven. read more

What can you say about a supermarket? But this Publix consistently outperforms. Basically it is the customer service, and this one knows how to do it right. The folks in the sub department are especially helpful and this tends to be one of the busiest areas of the store. This Publix seems to be smaller than the others, but has everything we have ever needed. The small store with a big heart! For a treat, go to the frozen food section and get "Skyline Chili". I go to this Publix pretty often, and every time I have been there the employees all seem happy to be working there and they're friendly with the customers. They also go out of their way to make your shopping experience better. I'm assuming he was a manager, but an employee offered to take my cart out to my car and unloaded it for me. Today, I went to the deli for a wrap sandwich. First, of all I'm standing next in line, but the lady behind the counter told the young man behind me to step up first. I told her that I was next and not him. I told her that I wanted a wrap sandwich, she put the whole pack of tomato wraps on top of the paper she was going to use. Ordinarily, I wouldn't write a review for a grocery store, but I have to tip my hat to the ladies in the deli for correcting a mistake. My boyfriend called a day ahead for a party sub. When we arrived, they informed us of some "bad news" that whoever took the order on the phone didn't write down which day of the week the sub was requested, so they didn't make the sandwich. However, they were quick to make us 3 regular subs for free because of their mistake. The lady who made our sandwiches even told us to go shop around while she makes the sandwiches according to our sub order, so we didn't have to wait too long either. When we returned from our shopping, she walked us directly to customer service and explained the situation to the manager on-duty. After moving down the street, I knew that this was my place. Actually just last week I tried a different Publix and it just ensured me that my publix is the best. The folks working here are really great and they really make an effort to make sure that you're happy. Most of them recognize me and they're even surprised when I don't have an entire shopping cart full of groceries. The store seems smaller than other Publixes and not as fancy as some of the newer ones but it literally has everything under one roof. There is always a great sale I have usually have to hold myself back from getting things I don't need. Also if you get scatterbrained during grocery shopping, you should download their mobile phone app. When you add things to your grocery list, it will sort the list into the location and will identify which aisle to find it in. read more

The Ppl that make the sub sandwiches never smile and as soon as you walk up they ask can I help you. It would be nice to get a hello, good afternoon or some small talk. Also, their is a guy there that fixes subs with a hairy arm. I'm not against him making my sandwhich, but with that much hair on his arms, I'm sure some has fallen into someone a food. We like shopping here because it is in our neighborhood and nicer than the Kroger that is down the road. Like all Publix's, it is very clean and well organized and the management are always very helpful if you need something and see them out walking the floor. Publix costs a little more but I think that is the premium that you pay for having a clean store and I think some of their store brands are of better quality than the store brands in other supermarkets. I know people that have worked for Publix for a long time in another state and they are a very well run company. One of the best things about Publix in my opinion, if not the best thing, are their subs. Again, they cost a little more but you get a really good sub and you get a lot for your money. Everyone you pass in the aisles smells like jasmine and lilac, and when you take an item off the shelf, another magically appears before your eyes to replace it!
