Trader Joe's is one of my favorite places to pick up snacks and odds and ends. Several products I highly recommend is their body wash, natural sunscreen, cheese selection, and the nuts. The body wash is a version of another brand that is double the price but smells exactly the same. The produce was fresh looking. I always double check though because I have bought produce before that wound up being rotten in a day or two. Other items worth checking out are the turbinato chocolate almonds, the banana pudding ice cream, and the salted caramels. I have always enjoyed the Trader Joe's stance on bringing in your own bags. I was having a very emotional day with a child support battle and had a really incredible experience with Luke at the register....he even gave me a bouquet of flowers!!!!! Greetings y'all! This is literally the best Trader Joe's within the 25 to 50 mile radius (no joke). There is never a long line here and literally even throughout all of the Covid chaos there were never limits to shoppers entering the establishment which to me is a real win (I've waited in line at the peach tree corners location for 30 min or more!) It's just always such a great experience at this Trader Joe's and everyone is super friendly and warm and kind and some of the products here are just not as easily found at others. There's just a lot more stocked and just in general it's a wonderful experience! As much as everyone here is just so fantastic that it's hard to really call out anyone in particular, I must make mention of Reyna the flower queen today. Reyna is a visionary of floral delights and I would be remiss to just call her a florist because she is such a whimsical and talented creative when it comes to arrangements. I will often times come to Trader Joe's just to see the latest that she has on display and today was no different. I was just mesmerized by the ethereal dreamlike bouquet arrangement that she had on display that I felt the need to try to replicate it in my own kind of way. Reyna is always there to assist and she just has such a passion for what she does and it really shines through in her work. I'm just so excited about the bouquet that I took home and I hope to have this arrangement once again because it is just such a stunning display that is truly unique and something I've never seen before. Oh, Trader Joe's...you had me at "everything but the bagel seasoning". This particular Trader Joe's is located in East Cobb at the intersection of Johnson Ferry and Roswell Road, and shares a small shopping center with CVS, Willy's, AT&T and a few other spots. Given it's location in the shopping center, parking is never an issue and always plentiful! They are doing a great job with Covid precautions by requiring shoppers to wear a mask, while also having employees do the same plus they have installed dividers at the registers and placed markers on the floor trying to sway the direction of shoppers and call out distance. To circle back to the mask mandate, they have an employee stationed at the entrance to ensure everyone follows the rules! I appreciate this extra effort by TJ's! Now, if you know Trader Joe's then you know all the fantastic and specialty items that line the shelves here. I personally can get lost in two sections of a TJ's...the cheese and the frozen sections! Combined, I spend 60% of my time in the store stationed at these two spots. I really enjoy a lot of the frozen items and a few of my favorites are the stir fry's, shitake and chicken mix and any pastas they have. A recent discovery of mine, that I am absolutely obsessed with is the Cold Brew Latte popsicles...yeah, you read that right! Once I get off the frozen aisle, I always swing by the spice rack and then round it out with the cheese and dips. Service is always great at this location. Not only are they friendly, but always available, whether it be wondering the aisles needing help or ready to check out...there is always a smiling face ready to help. While I always come to TJ's for specialty items, I will say that I stray away from their fruits/veggies/meats, as they are priced at a premium. I prefer to hit local farmers markets for these items. Overall, I am a fan of Trader Joe's! This particular location is on my weekend shopping trip rotation list and will remain so until...forever! read more

It's been 5 months, 3 weeks and 3 days since my last Trader Joe's visit. Pre-COVID, I went to Trader Joes at least three times a month. I haven't been in since March. We pivoted to grocery delivery and pick up after the first word of the pandemic and haven't really gone back since. I had heard that Trader Joes was one of the places to avoid, just because it's a smaller store and it has specialty items that people wanted...that would mean more people in a smaller space. When masks were not required, that would mean more people in a smaller space potentially not masked. I was not comfortable. It's been 5 months now, Trader Joes in East Cobb is requiring masks, and I REALLY needed some of my speciality items I had been missing since mid-April. So I went today - a Thursday - at 9:00AM - right when they opened. I felt quite "safe". They are requiring masks inside the store. They have places marked at the registers to stand and plexiglass up in front of the registers. There are no "one way aisles", but at 9:00AM it was spacious enough to be able to avoid bumping into people. The employees were just as friendly as before. Everything was bright and welcoming, just as before. I was able to get my Fig & Olive crackers (for cheese boards...so good) and my lasagnas for easy meals...seriously, we substituted with Stouffers from Kroger and it was not the same. I got my kids snacks and I picked up some nectarines for them to try. The French Onion Dip and chips... My pantry and fridge are stocked and I am a happy mom... Final verdict. Go early on a week day if you are concerned. But wash your hands and avoid your face...wear a mask out of consideration of others who may not be as confident these days...and dont let fear keep you from your Fig & Olive crackers. read more

I've never been to this location before but my little one and I decided to take a trip to this Trader Joe's. Parking was a breeze and it was pretty calm on a Sunday afternoon which made shopping that much better. There was plenty of staff available, the store was very clean, and lots of items I was looking for was in stock which made me happy. I always love how I can stop in and grab a ton of items to make breakfast, lunch and dinner for the week and still manage to be within budget. The prices are budget friendly and everything is fresh so I always feel like I'm winning anytime I visit a Trader Joe's. The lady at the checkout was super sweet and friendly and o always appreciate great customer service. I'll definitely be back soon to find some more goodies! read more

This TJ's is located in a shopping center, so there's plenty of shared free parking. The layout is great. The store is well organized and clean. It has a great flow, and finding items is easy. I was able to find my vegan and dairy-free staples with ease as well as added some new stuff to my rotation. Can't beat the prices and quality. The staff was friendly and readily available to help. Just like most TJ's I've been to, they, too have done a great job with safety precautions for Covid-19. All staff members and customers were masked up. The staff also wore gloves. There's social distancing markers throughout the store as well as outside and there's plexiglass shields at their registers. Wipes and hand sanitizers were provided right by the entrance. read more

It was just an OK experience. I really like shopping at Trader Joe's, but not all Trader Joe's are created equal. I've been to many Trader Joe's, not in Georgia, and the customer service is great. A real neighborhood store feel. Friendly staff, they remember and acknowledge you when they see you, recommend what to pair what with etc... And they are expert baggers, allll of them(at multiple locations outside the GA state! But not at this Marrieta location. The lady who bagged my order, a total of three bags, the items were thrown in there. No care at all for my strawberries, avacados and sweet French bread. She pushed things and ALL of my bags ripped while unloading from the cart to my trunk. So sad the lack of care. Her name was Erica T. The staff was a little dry and robotic. I'm not impressed. Hope this isn't the norm in GA. Update: I gave it another go. I was hesitant, but I did go back. Jennifer T was what I expect from a TJ's employee: the ask how your day is going, pack your food with care, offer suggestions on new things to try, and super friendly. This particular Trader isn't necessarily the easiest to get to in my opinion. Its located between Roswell Rd and Johnson Ferry. Depending on where you're coming from you might have to make a U turn to get in. Then Once you get in you might have to spend some time looking for a parking spot. The store shares the parking lot with a CVS and about half a dozen shops. (I once went on December 23 and it took me 8 minutes of driving in circles before I found a spot. Honestly I should of parked on the street....Roswell Rd and Johnson Ferry is always a parking lot so it wouldn't matter.) I was turned on toe Trader Joe by a friend years a go that had a cat with severe allergies. So she took the cat to an allergist-who knew there were pet allergists! The allergist that my friend's cat was allergic to a binder that companies use in pet food. A similar ingredient to carrageenan. The allergist recommended Trader Joe's brand of cat food because it was the "cleanest" commercial pet food on the market. Ever since then I have been coming here to buy pet food along with little snacks and produce. I particularly like their coconut coffee creamer and it's only $1.99 I once called here looking for 4 bag of Bench & Field cat food because the Trader Joe's that I usually go to in Roswell were out of them. They not only put it aside for me but also boxed it up so it would be easier for me to carry them out....it's just these little touches that makes Trader Joe one of the best places to shop! read more

I left a Bag with groceries at the store and didn't realize it until I was back home (45 minutes away). The management went out of their way to have an employee deliver the bag along with a Halloween cookie house as an apology for not loading all bags in my cart!? Talk about 5- star customer service. I live in Decatur, this is probably the furthest Trader Joe's from my house in Metro Atlanta, but from this point on, I'll be making an effort to go to this store because of the Amazing customer service. It's so rare these days to see a big store like this going out of their way to take care is their customers. But it makes a world of difference!! Don't get me wrong, I love some Trader J's but this location is just meh. They NEVER have a good selection of flowers, and always seem to be out of the staple items I'm looking for. Today was no different (and this has been my experience pre-COVID). Of note, I was still able to get a few goodies, but it was mostly stuff NOT on my list. The staff is nice, so that's always a plus. Very friendly and helpful staff. I always enjoy coming here. This is definitely my favorite Trader Joe's location by far. I find that everything is always well stocked and it doesn't get overwhelmingly busy. Also, parking is always a breeze compared to other locations. And even in a pandemic and with social distancing measures, I've never had to wait to be able to get in the store or find difficulty in navigating it. This may also be due to the fact that this store is not located somewhere in the middle of Atlanta. This one truly feels like a neighborhood store, which I love. SN: My favorite part about the store are the desserts (the brookies are wonderful!) and also when it's pumpkin season. When September rolls around, you have GOT to try the pumpkin brioche bread. I was in your store on Roswell Rd. in Sandy Springs and had purchased one of your sparkling limeade drinks, but when I got to my car, I could not find it among the other grocery items. So I returned to the same check out and told him my problem. After he searched his area for the missing bottled drink, he graciously said, "Well, I guess we somehow left it out." No more comments or questions - he simply bagged another bottle of limeade and handed it to me with an apology. Wouldn't you know, when I got home, there was the original bottle in the bottom of the shopping bag wrapped in its own bag. I had completely missed it! Oh boy, did I feel embarrassed! I really like Trader Joe's, they have unique items. I personally love trying different sauces and condiments from there. The produce I feel like is more expensive there than a regular grocery store. However, there baked goods are good. The bananas are $.25 a pound I think. Their frozen food aisle is a bit unique and fun to try as well. Hubby loves trying the different wines as well. read more

The only problem with Trader Joe's is that it isn't near Statesboro. My children live in the Atlanta area and I go see them and always go get my Trader Joe's essentials. I believe they have wonderful products at reasonable prices. Their wine selection is excellent and the beer selection is ok. They have a nice selection of nuts - raw, roasted, salted or unsalted. I love their chicken chili. Excellent cookies & candies. Lately, I am addicted to their frozen tamales. Yum! Service is always friendly and efficient. I did all my holiday weekend shopping to grill today at Trader Joe's a few days ago and when I pull the lemons out of the bag and the corn they were moldy not like workaround moldy but oh my God so moldy. I was able to get two ears of corn out of the six I bought but the lemons are lost. So now I'm having to change up what I'm serving and I think that's why I'm really irritated. I was debating on writing a review but this honestly has been bothering since Monday. So on Monday was my birthday and I have been told that Trader Joe's will give you free flowers on your birthday. So I went in anyways to get some things and told one of the employees that was handing out free samples it was my birthday. They were super nice and told me about how the free flowers on your birthday was true. So I go to the register and told the cashier it was my birthday and she was very cold about it. Asked her about the free flowers and she told me that I had to pay for the flowers. I wasn't sure if I grabbed the wrong size so I just asked if I need to select a different kind of flower. Also please keep in mind I bought wine and she checked my I.D. So another cashier comes up and ask what the problem was. I said it was my birthday and I was asking about the free flowers. She then says to me that there are no free flowers and telling me I have to pay. Nothing against these women but they were just very rude about the situation and it felt like they were rushing me out of the store. It wasn't even packed and no one was behind me. Every Traders Joes I've been to everyone is so nice and friendly. So for this to happen really sucked! If the rules changed or something that's totally fine, I wanted flowers anyway. But it was the interaction that really made me upset and uncomfortable. So I told the other employee what happened and they apologized for miss informing but that was it. So 2 stars literally for the employee handing out free samples and being nice. I will definitely be going to another Trader Joe's because if they treat people like that on their birthday, then I really don't want to interact with them on any other day read more

Trader Joe's is such an amazing grocery store! My favorite part about shopping at Trader Joe's is the fact that they only use recyclable paper bags. These are much better for the environment than plastic bags. Shopping in Trader Joe's is so convenient and easy because every aisle is well-organized, and there are many employees to assist you if needed. What a wonderful Trader Joe's! I just moved to Atlanta from Dallas, so obvi one of my first stops was to check out the TJ's here. I love the Trader Joe's chain and have been shopping here since college. I prefer the service, layout, quality of food, and prices to any other chain. Plus, there are always hot food samples and drink samples available. The employees here are happy and this particular store had every single item on my 56 item list! In fact, I used to drive to this location from Kennesaw and when my lease was up, I moved 6 minutes away. The staff is friendly, always willing to help & they carry all the best TJ has to offer! They have great activities for kids and families and the best part is the thoughtfulness behind their products. They don't use artificial ingredients and my daughter is food dye sensitive, so it's a true relief knowing we can go shopping and she can have whatever she'd like, without me having to check the label. No ordinary grocery store! People have to value things for what the store is marketing. To me this is a better version of Whole Foods. You can go fo fresh foods, less preserved food selection, but best of all the wine! Those who like to have a few 12 dollar bottles of wine around can now get the same type of value for 3-5 bucks! They have a house merlot for about 3 bucks and you cant even get a half glass in most restaurants for that! Now I chose to highlight this because its rare,but also the holidays are around the corner and when those countless bottles of wine diminish in front of you as each guest enters the bar area, you will be glad! I wouldn't come here to do standard shopping,but if I want some pasta and something on the healthier side and wine, this is numbero 1! Trader Joe's agenda seems to be to make everyone feel guilty about the preservative filled foods they consume when they do their grocery shopping at the popular commercialized grocery stores like Kroger and Piggy Wiggly. At least that is what I gathered during my trip to the Trader Joe's location in Marietta. This particular location also has a really small interior that was extremely congested when I stopped by last Saturday. My grocery list consisted of Turkey meat, taco shells, taco seasoning and taco sauce. Should have been a quick and easy stop and shop right? Wrong. I could not find the taco seasoning or the taco shells because of the crowd blocking the aisles, which of course by default left me on my own with no employees available to point me in the right direction. In retrospect, I bet they did not even have taco seasoning because that probably has preservatives in the ingredients. What a load of organic nonsense. What is the big deal about Organic foods anyway? Okay, I get it, no preservatives or any other chemicals/products added into the food so that it is 100% natural. Organic food may sound like a necessary and vital need in a present day society that is plagued with diseases and cancers from unknown origins; however, it still has not been conclusively proven to me that organic food is necessarily better for your health than food that has all the evil ingredients that give it the nasty "non-organic" title. So, until I see some new Al Gore movie about the wonders of organic food that makes me think real deep about stuff, I am going to stick to the cheaper, larger and more convenient commercialized grocery stores. A doctor informing me that I really need to start an organic diet or I have 10 years to left to live may push me into joining the Trader Joe's cult also. read more

Let me first start off by saying I absolutely love Trader Joe's. It's the only grocery store I shop. Because of their clean ingredients list mainly. The reason I'm giving this a one star review is because of the experience I had today. I came in to purchased my usual items they were all stocked (another thing I love). However, today when I got to the register they had me manually enter my card number.. never has that been asked of me. The transaction did not go through because the error was coming back "system offline". We proceeded to attempt 3 more times; same error. A manager takes us to another register for someone else yo ring us. Same thing happens twice. This cashier basically says "we need to check the balance & he can do it for a lower amount" as if we did not have enough money. There was more than three times the amount of money to pay for a 64 dollar grocery bill. Another manager comes back to explain the system has been giving issues since they updated to a new system. And proceeds to try 4 more times. At this point we just said never mind as we're walking away the three employees chuckled. The principle is 1 if you're serving NEVER is it ok in any capacity insinuate negativity or laugh and 2 if you know you've been having issues with a system connecting to other systems there should be a sign up. The way this was handled was completely inappropriate and unprofessional! read more
