Le Marche is a small mom and pop Vietnamese grocery store located in a nondescript shopping center in Marietta towards Austell. The cross streets are Powder Springs Road and Sandstown Rd. In fact if you want a short cut just take Westside Drive which is the road that curves slightly to your left as you exit the grocery store (its where Mante the Mechanic is located https://www.yelp.com/biz/mante-general-mechanic-marietta?uid=FdPioXvctMq8lhBtd_NnTg&utm_campaign=www_business_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) ) Westside Drive deadends on South Cobb Drive across the street from Hellbender Harley Davidson Store is and about 1/2 mile from Lockeed. The owners are super friendly and the store is small but very neat and orderly. They have a lot of your basic Asian spices and cooking ingredients available without having to drive out to Buford Highway. I was able to find a few Taiwanese and Chinese old time snacks that are hard to find in the US! They do sell some produce and frozen meats. When I was there they have freshly made mochi for sale...yummy! 1293rd review 3/25/2018 213th for 2018

I was on this side of town and needed to refill my Thai coffee packets but didn't want to fight the traffic to Buford Highway and this place delivered! Their prices were only cents higher than the other guys but totally worth every penny! They have three aisles of goodies ranging from candies, drinks, rice, noodles of all kinds, sauces and in the back are half a dozen deep freezers filled with frozen foods. They have coolers of fresh veggies and drinks. When I walked in they were bundling fresh Thai Basil making the place smell lovely. The owners were extremely nice and helpful in finding exactly what I was looking for.

We're Filipino and we'd get our bag of Jasmine rice, fish, tocino, pancit noodles, canned goods, vinegar, and toyo, etc.

I had an absolutely horrible experience this morning that should have been just a simple phone…read morecall. I take a medication that is a controlled substance, which I have taken for 4-5 years. As prescribed. I always call in a few days before I am out of medication, so that I can schedule where I am that day for work. This morning I called in to ask the same thing. When asked, the pharmacy technician laughed at me and said, "yeah, that's too early to fill, is there anything else I can help you with?" And I reiterated that I was fine on the medication but just wanted to know what day I can refill. This medicine has also been on back order for months, and often, I have to call multiple pharmacies to find it and it is crucial that I be proactive. She replied, "you can refill the j day 28, just count from the day you had it filled. And then said thank you" and hung up. I was really almost in tears as she was clearly implying that I was trying to fill my prescription early. I was embarrassed by someone who is supposed to be a healthcare provider. I composed myself and called back. I asked for a manager, Jayda said "she's not in". And I asked when and how I could speak with her and she said, "she's on maternity leave. I don't know." So then I asked if there was a corporate email or phone number that I could reach out to. Her response was, "Mr. Hazell, it's on Google." And hung up on me again. I have filed a complaint with the corporate office and will be having my prescriptions transferred to another Kroger pharmacy. I will stick with Kroger Pharmacy as I have only ever experienced helpful and friendly service from others.

Very professional pharmacy. Would recommend them for anyone needing a prescription or advice…read more Prices are lower that Walgreens.

We also tried the Capri which was also very good. Plus, all the cookies and snacks and pastas to buy!! Yum. I got some biscotti and cookies to bring home. Highly recommend!

I've had this place on my list for Pizza but instead got sandwiches. I wasn't really feeling pizza…read moretoday and they feature three options which are kind of like thick focaccia bread with toppings on top. Maybe next time, and maybe a whole pie instead, as I'm not typically a fan of pizza that stays out on the counter for a bit. That's just me, I bet this is usual, so no points off to them for this. I decided to grab The Marino from their menu. I really enjoyed the meatballs. They were super flavorful, a lot better than most places. The bread they used seemed to have been more on the Ciabatta side. The texture of the bread was soft and not hard to bite into. The sauce was not doused on this, which was great for me, so I didn't get any in my beard. It said panini, but I didn't sense the bread was pressed at all. Maybe there is something different about this in Italy that I'm not aware of? The sandwich was great overall, I wish it was larger or had an option to be larger. At $9.99, I really can't complain. Coulda just gotten two. Maybe next time! :D The shop is really cool and carries a lot of Italian/EU imports. I was able to find a jar of Nutella that is imported, which if you know, imported Nutella taste different than US Nutella and comes in a glass jar instead of plastic and taste creamier. They also had lots of pastas, sauces and candies. Some Easter stuff leftover as well at the time of this post. EU easter candy is better than American easter candy. :D When you walk in, the line sort of leads to the back and you make your way up to the front. In the glass, there are various burrata's available for around $8 each. Good for making your own pizza or perhaps an Italian dish. I didn't pay attention to what milk was used, but this is Georgia, so you make do. The drinks are all canned or bottled. They had some imported sparkling waters. You can tell by the fact that the caps don't twist off and are attached to the bottle intentionally because the EU requires this to avoid pollution by people leaving bottle caps all over the place. The young lady at the counter super knowledgeable and ready to answer questions. She was very sweet and good to talk to. I came after a lunch rush, so she asked me to pick a seat and let her know so she can clean it up. Very much appreciated that. Place is a little small and not a lot of seats. If you happen to come during lunch hour, be prepared to get the order to go and sit outside or across in the park center of the square. It's very well maintained from the looks of it and would be a great picnic area. Overall, I enjoyed this location very much. I would definitely come again to try some of their other offerings.
