I went to a store known for having every food item from just about every country on the globe. I must've looked extremely confused because a clerk approached me and offered his help. He attempted to locate the elusive dende oil, but they didn't have any in stock. He suggested that I try a Brazilian market. I called before I made the trip to Goiana because it was quite a distance from where I was. I spoke to a woman who informed me they had the item in stock. The store is small and filled with all kinds of Brazilian goodies. Most items aren't in English though. I was able to find the dende oil quickly because I saw pictures online. The clerk that I encountered was friendly. If you're ever in need of an item for a Brazilian dish, check them out!
