I ask the cashier to please ring me up so I can leave, the security says I'm being aggressive, I tell for him to leave me alone, mgr walks over to his credit he calmly listens and tells the guard to be quiet even walks me to the door to keep security from speaking to me. I had an absolutely horrible experience this morning that should have been just a simple phone…read morecall. I take a medication that is a controlled substance, which I have taken for 4-5 years. As prescribed. I always call in a few days before I am out of medication, so that I can schedule where I am that day for work. This morning I called in to ask the same thing. When asked, the pharmacy technician laughed at me and said, "yeah, that's too early to fill, is there anything else I can help you with?" And I reiterated that I was fine on the medication but just wanted to know what day I can refill. This medicine has also been on back order for months, and often, I have to call multiple pharmacies to find it and it is crucial that I be proactive. She replied, "you can refill the j day 28, just count from the day you had it filled. And then said thank you" and hung up. I was really almost in tears as she was clearly implying that I was trying to fill my prescription early. I was embarrassed by someone who is supposed to be a healthcare provider. I composed myself and called back. I asked for a manager, Jayda said "she's not in". And I asked when and how I could speak with her and she said, "she's on maternity leave. I don't know." So then I asked if there was a corporate email or phone number that I could reach out to. Her response was, "Mr. Hazell, it's on Google." And hung up on me again. I have filed a complaint with the corporate office and will be having my prescriptions transferred to another Kroger pharmacy. I will stick with Kroger Pharmacy as I have only ever experienced helpful and friendly service from others.

I asked for an email address to send her a photo proving my previous purchase, but she claimed she didn't have one to provide. She then repeatedly insisted I was confusing it with the vanilla Towering Cake. I am looking directly at the photo on my phone from my birthday, and it absolutely has cookies on top. If she had simply taken the time to let me email the photo, she would have seen the proof. Instead, I offered to post on Google for her to see. she told me sure she would look at the Reviews. As a fellow business owner, I would have handled this completely differently. I would never choose to receive a negative public review over simply providing an email address and apologizing to a customer.
