I had an absolutely horrible experience this morning that should have been just a simple phone call. I take a medication that is a controlled substance, which I have taken for 4-5 years. As prescribed. I always call in a few days before I am out of medication, so that I can schedule where I am that day for work. This morning I called in to ask the same thing. When asked, the pharmacy technician laughed at me and said, "yeah, that's too early to fill, is there anything else I can help you with?" And I reiterated that I was fine on the medication but just wanted to know what day I can refill. This medicine has also been on back order for months, and often, I have to call multiple pharmacies to find it and it is crucial that I be proactive. She replied, "you can refill the j day 28, just count from the day you had it filled. And then said thank you" and hung up. I was really almost in tears as she was clearly implying that I was trying to fill my prescription early. I was embarrassed by someone who is supposed to be a healthcare provider. I composed myself and called back. I asked for a manager, Jayda said "she's not in". And I asked when and how I could speak with her and she said, "she's on maternity leave. I don't know." So then I asked if there was a corporate email or phone number that I could reach out to. Her response was, "Mr. Hazell, it's on Google." And hung up on me again. I have filed a complaint with the corporate office and will be having my prescriptions transferred to another Kroger pharmacy. I will stick with Kroger Pharmacy as I have only ever experienced helpful and friendly service from others. read more

Lunchtime, Employees walking back and forth, no acknowledgement at all. They'll look at me and just keep walking. A lady finally walked up and I asked her if I could get a meal and she told me no. She didn't tell me when that time would be or anything, she just walked off. Food is literally right there getting cold. I'm sure the regular staff is fine but the deli employees are rude. This is not the first, second, or third time this is happened. Their consistency in being rude employees is on point. read more

Well they added deliver before Covid-19 tried it and was terrible. Shame on me for trying it again on 7/19/20 they have gotten worse. Ordered at noon for 6-7 pick up. Got their around 6;25 and the did not have my order it had not even been printed out. Said it would be ready shortly. Asked how long 15-20 min? Nope could not even give me a eta and shortly changed to awhile of unknown time. Asked for a refund but he did not know how. REALLY. Then customer no service 4 calls 45 min latter they had to cancel the order due to the store left is as active and I have to Waite 3 days for a refund. Total time wasted 2 hours plus a trip to another grocery store by the wife. Don't do it you have many other choices around here. They really just don't care about operating a good customer service business they take you for granite. read more

This Kroger is HORRIBLE - I try to shop the Kroger on Dallas Hwy, or Aldi on Powder Springs Rd. Was there today, between 4:30 & 5:00 and only two registers open, with a line for self checkout, 8 people deep. I asked for Management, which took two phone calls to get to respond and the manager was flippant about the situation, walking away from me, as opposed to trying to appease me. I will be contacting the DM & RM for this store. Remember - Aldi and Publix are not far from this store -- go there instead. read more

I will not go back to this Kroger again- I asked the butcher to trim some steaks for me & he responded with a curt "I guess so" - so rude - I tried to follow up with the manager who was called & he never showed up- their main customer service department did nothing to help- this is why people choose Publix - their staff are always helpful, polite & well trained read more

I love the selection at this particular Kroger... it is on my route at work. But it also sadly shows me the lack of Kroger's social and economic responsibility to the community to make their stores in lesser income neighborhoods reflect this level of care and love that this store has. I enjoyed the fresh cut meat selections and the wide array of seafood and fresh fruits and veggies. I also enjoyed the aesthetics of the store. It was definitely Kroger on a Publix level. But shouldn't all Kroger's reflect this same concept and ideal?! This appears that you choose to determine what stores will be high quality and then allow the rest of the chain to be mediocre! I can get fresh food and excellent ambience at any Publix even in less fortunate communities. Learn this and elevate Kroger to where it should be. You could lead if you offer us the same high quality products as you do the non minority and more financially relevant communities. The Black community has a lot of spending power. This Kroger offers a good selection of fresh produce and meats. Their cheese counter's variety is acceptable on a good day, and their sushi selections are always appealing (though often fairly picked over by the time I do my evening shopping). The store itself is clean, but their customer service is far from top-notch. On two separate occasions at the Service desk, I have been made to wait for several moments while the employee behind the counter finished a personal call. Once off the phone, on both occasions the employee shouted across the registers at another worker for answers to my basic questions about the layout of the store/location of products. Another time, I was told that they definitely "do not carry" an item that I purchase there regularly. This location merits a solid 3 stars, but I'm giving it a 4 because of the convenience of the Kroger Fuel Station in the parking lot, and the nice service received at the Chik Fil A inside the store. read more

I visited this Kroger for the first time on Sunday morning 1/31/18. I walked in and past 2 employees that did not speak. I went to produce section and the employee made eye contact with me but continued block the items I was interested in purchasing. While I was bagging my item, I was blocking another employee from getting the click it items. I apologized and she did not look at me and went around me without speaking once I move the cart. Mind you I was only blocking her because the produce employee was blocking me. I did not need to apologize but I ha e manners. I went to the meat department and they were out of the 1 item I actually wanted. Still no one said hello. I ran into another employee a male who was doing the click it shopping. He was polite, made eye contact and said hello. I will never go back but that is why I shop at Publix. I gave them 2 stars because 2 people were nice. read more

Why does this store smell so fishy! I feel like it isn't clean. The employees ignore you, asked three people where to find sterno cans and the all sent me in different directions. The only Kroger's in Marietta you need to go to because the others are trash (like the one on Powder Springs rd...) The people who work there are nice, they have organic food, they carry vegan products, which is very important for me. The organic produce section could use some work and sometimes they're out of stock or very low stock in the products I like (big bottles of Evian, silk almond creamer, agave, Method dishwasher packs, etc) Their in-house organic brand is called "Simple Truth". The store is clean and organized. On of the security guards they had there late one night was on his phone the entire time I was there and he was a total hot mess & not paying proper attention to anything, I think they fired him because I never saw him again after that... Love this store, very clean, specials are always in stock. The fish & meat case is always stocked very well and include the "specials" they don't seem to run out. The flower display at the front of the store always has fresh flowers and looks/smells great ! They have a great cheese selection by the fresh baked bread, smells wonderful. The wine selection is really good and they store it right across from the cold beer so the wine never gets hot like some other stores. I do shop during the day to stay out of the way for people coming in after work, but they seem to be stocking sale items at that time, which is a good thing. read more

Ok Kroger. I'm going to need you to get it together. I spent over $200. However, I had to wait in line with 2 other ladies (carts full) for 20 minutes because there was only one regular lane open and 3 (less than 15 items) lane, along with the 4 self-serve lanes. Then I had to bag my own groceries while several employees walked around. Should have gone to self-service. Only, last time, I was redirected because I had a lot of items. We go here because it is the closest grocery store to our house. The store really isn't that bad in itself but the reason for the 2 stars is due to their produce section. It is below par. We've been going here for 3 years and have finally decided to start driving 5 minutes further down the road to Publix. Many times we have bought fruit and it was moldy either when we got it home (oranges in a net bag) or the next day. We've also purchased bread that had mold on it but I feel that could happen at any store. If you need fruits and veggies go to Publix. Anything else, you're probably okay going here (meat department is just okay too). read more

This Kroger has a great selection of everything especially frozen items. I love that this location has a small sushi bar and superfood at the deli. There's also a Chic-Fil-A inside and coupons on the back of the receipt for a free sandwich. The one thing thats absolutely silly is that the bathrooms accommodate one at a time for the entire store including the employees. read more

I like this Kroger. I do not like Gabbi the pharmacist. She is rude, disrupts your speech and walks away from the customer and her reports show double amounts of medicine given in a month which is not true. My relative does not take double of medicine. I ask to fire Gabbi the pharmacist from 1000 Whitlock Avenue Kroger. She is bad for the customers. I have been going to this Kroger since it was brand new and never treated this bad by anyone there, but Gabbi. She called my relative Pharmacy Jumper, which my relative is not, and made me understand that my relative is drug addict, but my relative is CEO and President of the company and makes so much money. Fire rude Gabbi, please! Now I wonder who filled for whom double amount of medicine, but it's not my relative. My relative never received 240 pills in a month, but only 120 prescribed by his own Dr. Gabbi, please go find you a new job! You are not welcome in my Kroger. Thank you Kroger for listening me!
