I like this store. I's clean, convenient & easy to shop at. The parking lot is large, open and I have never seen it very crowded. It is easy to pull in the lot or leave onto Cherokee St. / Allatoona Gateway. The shop is bright, clean and open. Pretty large. Staff is friendly and helpful. I really like the egg salad sandwiches in their deli section. Ingles' private brand is Laura Lynn. I enjoy their Laura Lynn brand potato chips. Also their Laura Lynn 100% Tomato Juice is great - tastes just like tomato - nothing else. They have a good beer & wine selection at decent prices. read more

I'm so tired of that melissa following me and my daughter around the store and staring at us. Let me guess, shopping while black? I have approached her a few times anyway to get assistance with locating items, and she is BIG QUEEN MRS. ATTITUDE through and through. You name it, they have it. Huge store with everything you need from a grocery store. I needed a giftcard, a card, and a bag to place my gift in. Nice store with courteous employees. I can't really say a whole lot about the grocery prices since I usually shop elsewhere for my groceries. Deli section seems good, and you can actually buy something to eat and consume it at the store. There were few tables and chairs conveniently placed inside the store. It's clean and pretty big for Acworth. The variety is decent. It seemed like the average grocery store. The produce section was better than my Publix. I didn't try the meat, so I'm not sure about the quality. All in all it's not a bad store at all. Check it out and see what you think. read more

Followers of my reviews know how critical I am of the local Krogers.... I have shopped at Kroger for almost 30 years and I have never been as dissatisfied as I am with the Krogers in the Acworth Area... So being tired off shelves not stocked, under staffed meat counters and Deli Counters and general stores in disarray I decided to try an Ingles near my house. WOW what a difference between the Krogers and Ingles... Ingles is brightly lighted, shelves are full, sale items are in stock, produce shelves are full, Deli and Meat counters are staffed.. grocery carts are in the store and not left in the parking lots.... and on and on... The store is even laid out in a logical order.... Prices seem to be comparable to Kroger... even if they are a little higher, having the store ran in a professional manner is worth a few dollars.. Oh and did I mention the employees.. Very helpful and friendly... I am now an Ingles customer.... read more

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Aug 2023- friend 'dropped by' for a quick visit & was hungry. We went to the deli and Man oh Man they have great food & generous portions. Ingles may become my new favorite 'restaurant'. Produce section seems to be well-run and the entire store is in good order. Acworth is lucky to have this Ingles! I drove up from Marietta for the bakery items. The lure of the fried chicken in the deli meal case was too much. Meat & 2 veggies with Kings Hawaiian roll or corn muffin for $5.00! Got huge breast and thigh with generous servings of delicious mashed potatoes and not the greatest of green beans, but satisfying. Great deal! Friendly and courteous staff. I will be back. read more

Three large subs and a small wrap = $40. Guess it would have been OK if they had tasted good and been prepared carefully. Hint: drain the peppers and olives before putting them into the storage containers. Soggy and bland. read more

It's so hard to not like this grocery store with its convenient location and reasonable hours but the food they sell is always old! I recently bought 2 bag salads and threw half the bag away because the lettuce was rotten. Pink lettuce? Not a Valentines day special! Their milk has a 2 day expiration, chip bags are always broken and the bread has random finger tip dents in them...all of them. On the positive side, the store is clean, the staff is always helpful and the parking lot is well lit. Too bad I can't get a gallon of milk that doesn't resemble cottage cheese. read more

The supermarket overall is very attractive place to shop . I did notice their prices were higher than supermarkets in my hometown area. They would have gotten a four rating had they not marked down a cold cut product, and then charged full price at the register. That evening we notified the floor manager "Debby" and she said come back and I will straighten it out, which she did. Very professional, courteous, and resolved the issue. read more

I just moved here from Florida and was hunting a place that sold my favorite tea, Milo's. This store came up in my search so I there I went. I was in awe of the size of the store. It is so big and spacious! (I was told that it had a remodel around a year ago.) The aisles are very clean, the food (which the store has an amazing variety of food & beverages) on the shelves are very neat and organized, the tags/stickers on the shelves are placed very well. The help I've received from the employees is much appreciated. The video rental area's manager (I believe her name is Traci) was very kind and helpful to me yesterday afternoon, as well. I surely will be a return customer as well as bring my family to check out this awesome store when they come to visit. Yay! read more

Spoiled by easy access to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, I was afraid I wouldn't find a grocery store I liked in Acworth. Well, I love our Ingle's. Bulk items are available, the produce selection is good, they carry certified humane eggs, and the store is always clean. They also carry a wide selection of ethnic food and have a good selection of wine. All the workers are very friendly and helpful. read more

This store has a movie center still!!! But no gas station. Makes you hate the points you accumulate. Have to travel to catersville to use them. Love going there instead of Red Box. Every 10 movies, gets you one free. I am dissappointed in their fresh food area. Could use more of a variety and organic things. Same with meats. Plus one time, I had bought a milk that had spoiled in less then a week purchasing it and it hadn't even reached its expiration date nor had I opened it before it turned. Bathrooms are clean. Always have soap, paper towels and a pretty flower arrangement. Which reminds me. Love the plants you can get from there.!!! Such a great and creative selection. The crew there! Great people. I told the associate that was working for the self checkout area that the change receptor for the cash register for self check out was broken and needs to be fixed . This store definitely needs some attention. The store is dirty and doesn't seem like the manager cares how this store looks. The produce is always nasty and wilted. There is so much that could be done with this space and really deserves a lot more attention. I think they need new mangers. When I go there is see so much that needs to be done or should be doing. I used to work in a grocery store and the standards should be the same in all stores. I went to an ingles in the mountains and all I could think is I wish our store looked like this! Their products, produce, and baked goods are always fresh. They even have excellent deals on items that expire within the week. Sometimes up to 75% off! They have so many other deals and easily compete with the likes of Kroger and Publix. The staff always has such a happy smile on their face and will help you anyway they can. And I love the fact that they have a movie rental store! It brings back such great memories. The deli food is always great, and my only suggestion is making sure the chicken at the "wing bar" stay fresh. When I pick it up at the end of the day it's always rubbery, but this happens with most "wing bars." You just can't beat it. read more

This isn't my regular grocery store, and I'm on the fence between 2 and 3 stars. I'm deferring to stars because I'm feeling nice. What I do like about Ingles are the prices, and they actually carry some really good products that aren't carried at Publix. They tend to have sales on items I actually buy as opposed to other stores nearby. What I don't like about the store probably just has more to do with the fact that it's located on Glade Road more than anything else, and of course that isn't Ingles' fault. First, the parking lot is always a mess. People have left trash, dirty baby diapers and the likes out in the open for others to run over as they park or have to look at as you walk by. They need to hire a lot sweeping company if the clientele can't put trash in trash cans. Next, each time I have tried to check out, there are 1 or 2 cashiers working and it's slow as Christmas. And when I and pushing my cart of paid-for items out, there are always 3 or 4 people in the manager's area up front staring me down. They could make themselves useful by taking on some cashier duties when they're busy. read more

I give them two stars for two different reasons they have a new cashier today and I checked out and she charged me 3 times for a pound cake when I only had two remember what Clark Howard says always watch as they scan your items if I had not they would have charged me 6.98 something I never got. the other reason is I have bought fruit salad from them watermelon honeydew and cantaloupe, twice and it has tasted sour I would think twice about ever buying any type of cut up pre cut up fruits from them in the future it is very inconvenient to have to drive back to a store thats 5 miles away I'll spend more in gas money I'll lose out in the end and it makes me wonder if that's what they're betting on to not have a manager in the fruits and vegetable section that doesn't do their job. but in closing this store is a convenient for me on my way home from work during the week just make sure you watch the dates on the fruits vegetables cuz it looks to me they don't mind selling it to you read more

Absolutely done with Ingles. Working with a local family fundraiser to help them and Ingles was very short about the fact they don't donate. Heard you loud and clear Ingles. If you can't help the local people in your community then I have no problem never going into another one of your stores. I will be sharing this with everyone in our community. My grandfather prefers to shop at Ingles so I called to to ask when they offer a senior discount. I was answered with "We don't know." I asked to speak with someone who would know and the girl says "Oh wait, what was your question?" I asked, again, when they offer their senior discount and she says "We don't do that, is that all." read more

The store location is very convenient for me to shop there but customer service is at zero. They had muffins marked for $1.65 but rang up $2.98. Manger told me they were $1.65 each or $2.98 per box. On the stand there was only boxes of 2 per box not one per box. I believe there was a mistake and the product did not ring up correctly. Manger was very rude and made it like I was wrong. Most mangers would have adjusted the price to the advertising. Not here. I will not be back. read more
