This Publix was clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. Just like any other grocery store they have all the basics and much more. One of the things that brings me back time after time is the bogo deals. It is hard to beat! If you don't need them both you can just get one at half off. They do a decent job of promoting the bring your own bag campaign of which I really appreciate. I'm hopeful for more organic and all natural foods as we head into 2023. On Thursday, October 19, 2023, at approximately 6:30/7 p.m., I entered the Publix store located at 12165 Hwy 92, in Woodstock, GA to pick up prescriptions I had pre-paid for. I stepped up to the pre-paid line. There were two female cashiers working the counter. There was a line of 3-5 customers waiting. One of the cashiers stepped to the pre-paid line to assist me. One of the customers waiting came to the counter and asked the other cashier why the person standing behind him was not next. The cashier told him I had prepaid. I told the cashier waiting on him that I did not appreciate her providing him, a stranger, with information about me. I also told the customer that I was EXACTLY where I was supposed to be and asked that he mind his own business. It was then the customer started yelling about him not caring if I had prepaid and I thought I was entitled and being rude. I told the customer that I did not owe him an explanation, but I prepaid and again, was exactly where I was supposed to be. I also told him that he has access to the same service. The customer continued to berate and embarrass me. He looked like he wanted to kill me! Has anyone ever looked at you as if they wanted to kill you? I was unnerved and terrorized! The customer finally left, still yelling as he exited. I male representative that was working on the computer next to where I was apologized for the experience. I did not want his apology. I told him that if he was sorry, he would have come to my defense, while the customer was present. None of the pharmacy employees or customers came to my defense. Here are some facts: 1) If I were a white woman, the situation would not have happened, 2) If it was a black male acting the way the customer (who was white) acted toward me, security or the police would have been called and 3) If my partner (white male) was with me, again, this would not have happened. I transferred my prescriptions to Publix for better customer service. I even willing paid 2-3 times more at Publix than I paid at Kroger, just for what I thought was better customer service. My partner spoke to the pharmacy on 11/2/2023. Apparently, they blamed the situation, that was clearly memorable, on signage. He attempted to discuss how the situation was so much more than signage. Unfortunately, this fell upon deaf ears. Publix will not receive another penny from me or my family. I was humiliated and undeserving of the treatment I received, from both the customer and the Publix pharmacy staff. DO BETTER! read more

I am a fan of Publix. I've been to about a dozen or so all over the metro area for work and such. My experience has always been top notch. Publix sets itself apart from their competition by offering super clean stores, excellent product selection and better than most customer service. I was extremely disappointed in my experience at this Publix tonight. (3/5/2018) We had just left a community meeting at the Woodstock Police Department with some of my fellow Woodstock neighbors and decided that we would all pop in to grab a few things since we were in the area. We started out checking out the BOGO bins and then worked our ways to the deli department. Then to the bakery. We were checking out some of the baked good when a woman (heavy set, brown hair, older woman) barked at us and said in a sharp voice "May I help you?" Which one of my neighbor answered "No. we're just looking." The employee didn't say anything and just walked off..... I don't know if she was insinuating that we were up to something no good or what but we weren't doing anything wrong. Just looking at some cup cakes and some peach pies..... the five of us are all grown people with college educations, home owners and one of them had a teenage kid. So for some grocery store employee talking down to us like we were teenagers giggling at a library is not only unprofessional but down right rude. Nice Publix off Hwy 92 in Woodstock. It's a nice size Publix carrying all the freshest bread, produce, meats, deli items, etc that Publix is known for; in addition to a friendly and helpful staff working here. I guess the only negative for me about this store is how difficult it is to get out of the parking lot if you have to turn left from any of the exits; all of which are on busy roads. read more

The hwy 92 and trickum rd store used to be one of the best! Always had fresh products, full bakery cases, and excellent service in the deli! Well that is no longer the case! In the past month I have stopped about once a week to get a sub. Always just one person making subs, usually takes 30 plus min to get through the line. Bakery cases are always empty and what is out for sale is either almost or is out of date. Their standards have gone so far down it is a disgrace! I have spoken with management and corporate several times and am always told we are sorry and we will look into it. Well apparently that was a lie because it hasn't changed. Also the sub rolls are constantly under proofed and doughy! That would have never happened just a few short years ago! So publix wake up and do it right! Or lower your prices! read more

Publix is such a refreshing place to shop. Their groceries tend to be more expensive so I only come here if it's the most convenient, they have a sale like buy 1 get 1, or for their froyo. I spend most my money here on the Publix subs or the publix chicken tenders. Not many things are better than a customized Publix sub with boars head deli meat or their buffalo chicken tender sub. Some other great things about Publix are the cakes that they make and probably anything else from their bakery. I have yet to try any of their cupcakes or cookies, but I've heard only good things. read more

I went to the deli to get a meatball sandwich for my wife and a roast beef for myself. There was a long line so I went to the other counter and got some fish for myself and asked the guy if I could get my sandwich there. He said no but he would put my fish in the warmer. He then disappeared. I went back to the deli line and while I was waiting I noticed two "management looking" people with Publix name tags talking to each other. I guess they didn't know how to make a sandwich, to help the poor woman who was working her tail off to try and serve people. They stood there the entire 20+ minutes while I waited for the Meatball Sandwich. When I finally got it I went to the warmer to get my fish, they were gone; they didn't have any more. I wonder if Kroger is more customer orientated? read more

The people here are nice and helpful and the store is well stocked and clean. We like coming here. It is convenient to our home and easy to get in and out of. The checkout lines rarely back up and the pharmacy is efficient and knowledgeable. The only problem we've had here, as other commenters have noted, is the deli and sandwich department; they've had some real questionable performers on duty there. The management on duty always dealt with the issues and straightened things out but it was a very serious bother. read more

If the next step is abolishing buy-one-get-one items, I am seriously out of there. Cause y'know what? This is probably my least favorite publix for this reason: Robin Kenerly. She was extremely rude while I was checking out and gave my 8 year old daughter, Madisawn, the finger after she asked for. a sticker. 2 registers open one with two buggies in line packed full . Took my 13 items to the only register not backed up. 10 items or less. NO ONE else waiting. But she decided to call me out on it. Sad. No I will have no items or less at this store! No more Publix for me. Update: made the mistake of going back. Me and three other customers had to give up on the deli and leave. And then when I checked out I went express and guess what? Again a cashier tried to make me change lanes. Literally two empty express lanes and no one else waiting. Horrible place. Don't get me wrong - I love Publix as much as the next person. However, this is the third time I've ordered a couple subs on the app and gone to pick them up and they are NEVER even started, let alone ready to pick up. One time the delay was so bad the deli manager (unprompted) comped 2 whole subs. Why even offer the service to order ahead if it only ends up taking longer? This location hands down has the best customer service. I have never experienced a bad attitude from any of the employees. I get asked numerous times if I need help finding anything every time I shop at this location. The subs are also my go to "Fast food", the five grain bread is a must have! read more

One reason I shop here is Ms. Kim who does the cooking at Aaron's display. She is so sweet, extremely personable (remembers me every time I come in) and hilarious! Anytime I am in, I always make it a point to stop and see her. I have never seen her not smile. She is a valuable asset to have at this store. read more

Love the cleanliness of this Publix store. Always well stocked and very convenient. However I rarely visit this location as the employees are curse. I tried to pickup a cake recently and the lady in the bakery seemed to have a bug in her bonnet as she rolled her eyes at me and another customer as requests were made. We appreciate BOGO sales and will make small dedicated trip for these to have a complete receipt. Makes a large difference on being able to donate to the local can food drives. We purchased 10 cans of tomatoes and 15 cans of the hearty Campbell's soup and a few other items. Cashier, Kelly E made a comment that I should save some for other people. In this new world where people have their head up their ass or their neighbors, allow me to take a moment to remind you. There are individuals on fixed income, families with large amounts of children and/or fosters, multi generational households, neighbors shopping for their friends, family, neighbors who do not feel confident about going out at the moment. Again these shelves were fully and perfectly stocked full. She did not know my story which was none of her business regardless. In the future hope the overworked and overpaid employees/owners of this Publix may show some humanity, courtesy, and simply civility to the next customer who steps into this establishment. I routinely experience the worst customer service and attitude whenever I get a sandwich at this particular Publix. It's has become a challenge to me make some of the particular employees smile or be friendly at all, which has proven actually impossible. I don't care to write a review unless it's exceptional one way or the other and this facet is particularly poor. If I could make the sandwich myself and miss the miserable 5 minutes standing there feeling like I'm bothering the employee I would. It's definitely gotten worse over the months but having come here once a week for about a year, I held out to write a review. But today really sold it. I've been shopping at this store since it opened. But since they have changed their website you can no longer find the Weekly Ad. The new website wants you to order for delivery/pick up and use your smart phone. Not EVERYONE has a smart phone and some people prefer to view the ad and plan their shopping before they go to the store. That is almost impossible now with the new website. I will miss my store and the people i have gotten to know there. I'm the wrong generation now to shop there. That is sad. read more

This is a great publix, always clean and always stocked! I come here usually because of the convenience there are many entrances which for me is a big plus =). Being able to run into Publix and hit the Exxon on the way out is just awesome! There are plenty of registers open usually. And the carts are not scattered all over the parking lot. In most ways this Publix is just like every other one and that my friends is not a bad thing. read more

We love this super market. Everyone here is very friendly and have and "ask and ye shall receive" attitude towards customers. Only need 1 lb of ground beef? No problem. If they don't have one, just take them a 1 1/2 pounder and they'll open it (with a genuine smile) and give you what you need. Only want 8 chicken wings (and not 10)...DONE! And try out the bakery. They have excellent baked goods there (i.e donuts). read more

Just recently moved to the ATL from Ohio and we did not have Publix back home. I visited the Publix on HWY 92 and was impressed with the cleanliness, selection, ease of shopping and how nice the employees were. It started at the meat counter where the nicest lady not only helped me get what I needed, but also gave me some great information on the area that was very helpful. I wish I got her name but unfortunately didn't. Then I finished my shopping and got Kim at check out. She was a Customer Service employee and she answered all of my questions on how to get coupons, the website, when the new deals come out weekly. She then insisted on pushing my cart to the car, however first we stopped and she gave me their flyer, their recipe book, gave me a ton of information & explained how it works and then went to the car. I was blown away at how she took the time to help me out and she genuinely seemed to enjoy it too. I'll definitely be making this my "go to" Publix, even after we move into our home 20 minutes away. read more

Publix management needs to pay closer attention to expiration dates and freshness of foods. We've accidentally purchased expired foods and moldy fruit from this location multiple times. We love Publix stores, however, this one needs a bit more attention to detail. read more
