This publix is less than a mile from my house. I've been in here countless times. The majority of the time it's for a sub from the deli. They are always very friendly and helpful, my complaint is that there is no point in ordering anything online ahead of time. The subs are usually not ready and as was my experience tonight, after they weren't ready on time again even though I ordered 40 minutes ahead of time, I left and came back 20 minutes later to be told that they were out of chicken tenders and didn't know how long it would be before they could make the subs. Had I been told that on my first visit or called since they ask for your phone number when you order I could have made other plans. I feel like this place is a coin flip. You never know what you might get. I've had other issues and most of the time there didn't seem to be any desire to meet me half way to work it out. read more

The meat department has gone downhill, lazy guy at the counter tried to claim that they haven't made stuffed steaks in a long time, yet we bought one just a week ago, and what was one week ago $11, wound up being almost $18. It's good to know that the employees are now not just lying to customers, but overcharging us as well simply because they don't want to do the job they're being paid to do. In fact, the fact that they still have the labels with all the ingredients listed on them tells me that they did not stop making these, and if it wasn't for a special occasion, I would not have bought this at this price . Do better Publix, because I will now be buying them at Costco, and until that rude, lazy man in the meat department is fired, I will not be returning. read more

I wish I did these updates more... because after 15 years... I quit Publix. And it was this location I was at that entire time. I actually quit in December of 2021. I felt bad because I ended up quitting during the holidays when I actually wanted to stay to help out. I guess I cared for about helping them. But unfortunately and fortunately .. I chose myself first.. and I quit so I could follow my dreams of moving to New York City. No matter how much I've ever said that was negative about that place... it was my home. My second home. I met so many incredible people there. Sometimes I catch myself crying because I even miss the regular customers. I hope they don't forget me. And I hope I see some of them when I come to visit. I'm getting emotional thinking about it. It was rewarding. Talking to the people I've gotten to talk to. Getting to know them. Moving up. The friends and family I've made there. The kindness... I lost 4 pets in my time of working there, two grandparents... and two favorite celebrities... each time my Publix family was always there for me. Everyone knew my birthday. Everyone knew I loved Madonna and loved when they played it. Everyone also knew how obsessed and in love I was with NYC. I'm so far away now... but 880 will always have a piece of my heart. I love all my beautiful friends there. Many are gone now. Some are still there. But I love all of them. And I'm grateful for every single one. read more

I recommend this Publix. Good associates that work there. Prices can be high, but convince and service are worth it.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. It is a few blocks up the street from me so its super convenient. This store's management is super friendly and helpful. They can special order items that they don't have in stock as long as their vendors carries it. Good points: plenty of parking Always super clean Have plenty of registers open most of the time They keep things in stock unless its one of those bogo. Then sometimes they run out but that is understandable.... Bad points: For the most part the service is very good. A few times I've run into some rude cashiers but maybe they were just having a bad day.... Sometimes their produce section is slim pickings...I'm not sure if this is due to the availability of the item or due to ordering error on the store's part. Its hard to say. I think this Publix is a great local grocery store and I enjoy shopping here. read more

This is my favorite Publix! Everything is very clean and well organized. I will say I don't see employees walking around very much. Usually the only ones I see are at the cash registers. But that doesn't bother me at all. This Publix has more things than the other Publix I go to, and this one is also better stocked. Most birthdays my family comes here to get the cake. read more

Publix is traditionally the store that you can count on being clean and well stocked. Yet this store has even more... people who make a difference. Employees/owners who take pride in their work and go the extra mile. They always have a smile and kind word even when you can tell they have worked a long shift. The pharmacist is always professional, caring, with an attention to detail. A couple times has had me take a dose and wait nearby to ensure I do not have an adverse reaction. The fresh fish cabinet is always exemplary the gentleman always ensures my order is complete and offers helpful suggestions on preparation. Chelsie in your deli/bakery section always has a kind word, smile, and remembers my order. I even recall a couple years back Marc Norman changing a customers tire for her on a hot summer day while wearing his white shirt. Employees/owners of this store care about the job they do. Often I have noticed stress on the faces of many (customers included) yet they do their best to add a bit of sunshine to your day. We are all dealing with this crazy world in many ways. It is refreshing to see people who choose to make a positive difference even through job excellence, a smile, and kind word. read more

We live between three Publix stores, but seem to go to this one, for the most part never had any issues, Meat department is small, and seems over priced. We buy our Meat elsewhere. Staff seems very nice, store is always fairly clean, and you can always find someone to help you if needed. the store never seems overly busy as the other two Publix close by. I love Publix Deli sandwiches,wings, and Sweet tea. read more

Publix is by far cleaner than Kroger and has better produce than them as well. I always shop here and I will always shop here!

I hate to say this, but this is literally the worst Publix I've ever been to. I have had so many problems here, that every time I hear it might be closing, it think it would be a good thing. Produce always looks bad, products are out of date, long lines in deli with only one person helping...and they make excuses every single time! I am happy to live in Florida now. I feel like their store standards are higher there. I specifically go to another Publix when I visit my parents so I don't have to deal with the attitudes from the employees here. read more

Good publix for the most part. The sandwich making station was disgusting at 8pm, I braved it anyway. The lady who made my sandwich did not label it a combo like I asked... The cashier put my tea and chips in the bag no charge. Probably not a good policy but I wasn't complaining. She made a 2 star for cleanliness a 3 star for heads up service. read more

Go to this Publix because it's so convenient. Chris, the store manager, does a good job keeping the place clean and well stocked. Randy, the deli manager, is always polite and professional. My only concern is with a cashier, Asia. Make sure you scan the coupons when presented to you. A dollar might not be a big deal to you, but it is for retired folks. read more

Nice grocery store but the cashiers are awful. The checkout lines are minimal and as slow as molasses. I've seen Jell-O move faster.
