This store goes out of its way to please! They even special ordered my favorite juice, they offered to do that before I asked! Whoa! Cleanliness and diligent hardworking employees are to your left or right! Need something, just ask! In the recent years after moving close to this location I love seeing the same faces and smiles every time I visit! Also they have a great, passionate and loving pharmacy staff. You will have an exceptional shopping experience at this location. Also if your stopping by the Deli! Kai (spelling?!) he is always the best! He always makes me smile and goes above and beyond! Same with another young man Josh, whom went out of his way to make it possible for me to have A ("must try!") famous Publix deli Cuban sandwich after hospital trip and arriving just minutes before close!! I'm telling you this Publix & it's Employees will make this your go-to store!!! The managers, Great! The customer service associates from Martha- to Sky (you cant miss the always smiling Sky whom I've watched grow in a 6ft tall gentleman) During Covid and my hospital stay, the pharmacy ensured I was taken care of with out ever having step foot out of my car. Avoid this store at all costs, the store manager (Jeff) is the most rude and insensitive SM I've witnessed, I've even witnessed him treat his own employees poorly being very rude and disrespectful before walking off and just screwing around not being at all productive. I've never worked with or for this "man" and I'm quite glad. I've had really great Managers in the past and I've had bad ones but this is the first that I've seen shown their real colors even in front of customers. Best cake around! I had a order of 100 cream cheese cupcakes and a two tier cake one with strawberry filling and the second cake was cream cheese filling. I have had nothing but compliments. People has reached out to me asking if planned on having another party and will I be having Publix cake, lol. To answer that question, soon. Thank you Publix for making my birthday cake a success! Good luck getting them to answer the phone in the store or the pharmacy. The pharmacy will not have your medicines ready when agreed. Even after you tell them to have your meds ready, your prescription will not be filled when you arrive to pick them up. read more

If I could give this location 0 stars I would!!!!! I frequent this Publix every single day due to having a property not far from there. Although I would prefer to go to the other location about 7 mins away near jiles road, I go there for convenience. I came to shop per usual and needed to receive a money order for a business expense. The individual began my transaction until Jacob told him to ask me for my social security #. Social Security #? For a transaction under 3000? Be mindful.....I was using cash. I own multiple rental properties from Kennesaw to Atlanta and it's a requirement for my tenants to pay in cash. I asked to speak with a manager and he gets the deli manager involved out of all ppl. She then stated there was a policy change and it is required for transactions of ALMOST or Close To 3000.00 to have a actual social security card with you for the purchase of a money order. I asked her to show me in black and white but she refused. I am very sensitive when it comes to my personal information!!!! was racially profiled and I never thought I would experience that type of malicious and underhanded injustice where Jacob and the deli manager made me feel that my money was not good enough. This is my favorite Publix. Customer service is impeccable and things are usually in stock. I feel like the deli selection is better than other locations as well. More than anything I love that this location has self checkout. The cashiers here are quick but polite as well. Publix is definitely more pricey than Kroger but shopping really is a pleasure here. read more

Cooking dinner is overrated! I am saving up for the new Gucci Babouska bag and food is last on my list of necessary things to survive and thanks to the Publix 'Apron Simple Meals' food area's, I am set! I come in randomly throughout the week and dine amongst the samples in the bakery, the meat section and the frozen foods. I leave with a bottle of wine or dog food, so I don't look like a cheap ass but no one has said anything to me...yet! Publix is a great grocery store, don't get me wrong. I always feel underdressed if I come in wearing yoga pants. This definitely is not a place where the typical Walmart gear is allowed: pajama pants tucked in to boot-leg Ugg boots and anything boasting the Nascar franchise. Publix has amazing customer service and the bakery section knows my name and my sense of humor considering I am always ordering cakes for my co-workers Birthdays. The fresh mountain bread, oversized Boars Head sub sandwiches and the rotisserie chickens I take to my friends house claiming I made them myself, is only the beginning of how great this grocery store is! I expected better service because it is a Publix, "where shopping is a pleasure." However, every time I try to get a sandwich for lunch, the line is terrible and they have only one person going between the sandwich station and the chicken station. The kicker was yesterday when there were five people in line between the two stations. The lady responsible for the two finally came out, asked another employee who was here first (chicken or sandwich), the answer was chicken and I was in the sandwich line, behind 2 other people. So I said, F this, I'm getting some hoagies, egg salad, and swiss and leaving to make my own damn sandwich. Mission accomplished. :) In their defense, they do have a really fast. Shopping at Publix was not a pleasure today. i went in to buy some fried chicken for dinner. Now you would think that common sense and good management would have fried chicken ready on a Friday night around 6 pm, dinner time. NO. I asked a lady behind the counter how long before the next batch will be ready and she said 3 minutes. So I decided to do more shopping even though i only went in for the chicken. It took me about 10 minutes and went back to pick up my 8 piece chicken and there were none. So i waited another 10 minutes and none came out. I asked another lady when was the chicken coming out and she told me another 12 minutes or so. so instead of 3 minutes, it was actually about 32 minutes. I was upset at this point so I decided to leave and get something else for dinner. As i was walking out, i thought i would let a manager know, so i went to the customer service counter and asked for a manager. The nice lady paged for a manager. I stood there watched 3 managers standing by the door socializing, laughing and carrying on while the poor lady was looking at them. I decided not to bother and left the store. read more

Normally I have no issues here. But today I went in and asked the person behind the produce counter if they had any addition watermelon quarter slices. While I waited I noticed a whole crate of whole water melons right at the produce counter. The person came out and told me they did not have any quarter sliced. I looked at him, glanced at the whole watermelons and he walked away. Maybe for the best. The one bad looking slice they did have (which I did not want ) was over $4. Yikes! It seems he should of taken one of the whole melons and sliced it up. How long could that have taken? read more

GREAT SERVICE!! The Cashier was very nice and the gentleman that came to her register bagging the items would not allow me to help him put the bags in the cart. The gentlman even asked me to step aside so he can take the cart so he can push it outside for me. I thanked him but let him know that I needed the extra exercise. Great Service! The Cashier and the person helping with bagging stating talking about how it never fails that someone would come to their line right when it is time to clock out; and rolled eyes. I go to the store the most for our groceries. They are nice, coupon friendly and a clean store. One of my favorite ladies works there. I always wait for her line. She is so nice to my husband and I. She is always asking how the kids are and things. We have gotten to know her well over the past two years. Most of the other are nice too. I really enjoy shopping there. I can always find what I need. I never have to take back food cuz it went bad to fast like I did when we shopped at Kroger. read more

Love Publix. In Georgia you can buy one of the buy one get ones for half price. Other states won't let you do that. Store brand items are great. Visit the bakery. They make their breads own breads and desserts and they are very good. read more

The store is very nice clean friendly staff. They have a real good selection of meats,cheeses, cold cuts and fried foods. They always agave bogos which I take advantage of if I need it or not. Price is a bit more expensive than other stores but the quality is very good. I come here often and do not see that ending anytime soon. read more

Though we were happy to shop here, they wouldn't let us park there for the festival adjacent. The cop hired or directed by publix was quite rude and harassed us on the street until we moved. The people inside publix weren't very nice either. I will never shop here again. read more

I absolutely love and miss this store. I Moved recently out of state where Publix isn't even a familiar store. Came back to visit and accidentally tripped over my OWN shoe! Broke a 12 pack of Sweetwater 420. With doing so, instantly Tyler was sweeping up the mess and asking if my fall caused any pain. Kayla asked if I needed a bandage and was their to reinsure my wound was ok. Shortly Courtney who was a manager of Publix had a case in hand to replace my own clumsiness. I personally want to say thank you Publix for your hospitality and wordiness of my simple injury. Expensive. I do not see the reason for me to shop there. Recently, I saw that even their store brand peanut butter had a higher price than the name brands at other grocers in the area. The meats cost more at Publix than other grocery stores too. read more

This store seems to be reducing the items carried. For instance, on my last 2 visits I looked for whole cultured buttermilk. It wasn't in it's usual place. I decided to inquire at the service desk and was told that they have discontinued the product. I further learned that management of this Publix store has decided not to be consistent with other Publix stores in the brands they stock. We have been shopping at this store, at the corner of Barrett Parkway and Old Hwy. 41, since the store opened. We have been impressed with the employees but there seems to be a recent flood of change in personnel. I think we will try Kroger for awhile. I hate to see this store go away but customer care seems to have slipped. read more
