Typically one cashier but expert to move the line quicker. Quite simple and straight cut placed with lots of its brand to make the price competitive. Be aware that if looking for something specific even if it's in his weekly ad, no one will be there to help you find the aisle/location like a Publix or Kroger. read more

I miss Lidl SO much! They closed the location in Sandy springs, so setting this one, I definitely popped in for a few items. Used this store for the first time on Wed Jan 14 and had my credit card information stolen during the check out process. This was the only time the CC was used in the last 2 days. Started receiving fraud charges within hours of visiting this store. Note, that you cannot call and talk to anyone at Lidl, the store has no local number and Lidl customer service does not have live customer service. I know. This goes down as the absolute worst photo. Maybe worse than the one of my dog sniffing around the toilet in a Hampton Inn. But I wanted to point out that even the carts here have shoppers in mind. Ergonomically correct. The nicest cart I've ever used! And check-out is great. The cashier funnels your purchase down one of two sections. The shopper stands at the bottom, loads his her or their bags -- bring your own! -- and doesn't hold up the next shopper, whose items are directed to the second station. You can even pay where you load, with a credit card machine that pivots from one section to the next. Whatever..... I'd been curious about Lidl, even asking a Yelp friend several months back for his reaction. I really like this store! I did a quick run-through and picked up corn at fifteen cents an ear, a crusty baguette for $1.29, shaving cream, $1.98, and other sundry items. Couldn't find the Manischevitz soup I like at Publix, but they have it here. $1.35. When you enter the store, you're immediately hit with tantalizing smells from the bakery, located at the entrance. Not quite sure why one of two frozen sections is also there. (Till you make your way through the aisles your things can thaw.) Anyway, I'll be back. Curious to try the fish -- excellent flash-frozen selection -- as well as wine. A good variety, many with ratings and pretty cheap. In the meantime, enjoy my photo! (Ha!) read more

4/16/22 My son was excited to show me a Lidl. I've shopped a couple of times at Aldi but never seen a Lidl. IMO Lidl is a big step above Aldi. I was impressed on the variety and look of the bakery items. The store is large and seems like they offer a good variety of items. Great selection of plants, bulbs, and fresh herbs for my garden. We strolled up every aisle and filled a cart in no time with some good bargains. They offer a lot of national brands in addition to their own brands. My son likes their meat and cheese selections and prices. Lidl has a rewards program too. Just like their competitor, you provide your own bags. They sell large, thick plastic bags for 13 cents each if you forget. read more

I used to love this Lidl, but it appears to be falling apart. Entire aisles with completely empty shelves. Floor is filthy. Selling marked-down mushrooms you wouldn't feed to a dog. I just asked an employee if they had any chicken stock and he said "What's that?" Sheesh read more

Someone from Lidl corporate needs to inspect the Roswell store. Food is reasonably priced, though the meat and chicken section looks sketchy as if it were being sold by a street vendor in a third-world country--with ice melting on the floor. The check-out people, particularly the long, dark-haired gal, act like you are doing her a favor or shopping there--very unfriendly and borderline rude. Empty boxes and deserted pallets of product are often left out, blocking access to items with no employee in sight. Workers don't greet you when they walk by. The area outside where the shopping carts are is a disaster--trash everywhere, with nearly all the carts having old newspaper ads and plastic bags in them. read more

Lidl is amazing! Think Aldi but better! I am so happy this location opened up so close to me. They offer amazing food, organics as well, for an average cheaper price than your regular grocery store. Being from a European country myself, I love the amount of foreign foods and snacks they have to offer! You still great great quality but save money. Nothing better than that. read more

Lidl was the place to shop back home and I am happy they are becoming popular here as well. Prices are great, not on everything. Bakery products are very good. Produce is fair. Meat and poultry are also fair. The cheese selection is a bit limited. I love to explore the international food section which changes every couple of weeks. Their frozen mussels are fantastic and they are less that 3$ a box! Super! Love their frozen pizza and frozen desserts. They say cleaning products are also great but I have not yet tried them. Bring you own bags, they charge for the bags. read more

I love Lidl for most things. I go to this Lidl first for their weekly promos, fresh veg/fruit, dairy, staples, and snacks, then to an expensive regional chain. Their staff is super friendly and almost always provide a great customer service experience. Be careful with their fresh meat and frozen seafood. I love Lidl-Roswell, Georgia. The prices are INSANELY low and the store is beautiful. Then, they give you a $10 coupon when you spend $30 for your next visit! Lidl is a relatively new (in the United States) grocery store that has a lot to learn about customer service. They send out weekly flyers advertising products at attractive prices, some even BOGO (Buy One Get One free). However, when you get to the store you often find that these products are not available. Unlike standard American supermarkets they do not issue rain checks. The first few times this happened I forgave it as poor planning, but after experiencing it innumerable times I believe it is their policy used to entice customers with false promises. Just as a single example: Last week Coconut Shrimp were advertised as a BOGO weekend special. The shelf was empty and an employee said it was out of stock. The next day, after the sale had expired, the shelf was completely full with this item. This is despicable and has given me a negative opinion of the store chain. I'm still giving Lidl 3 stars since it has the potential of being a good store if they can get their act together. read more
