I've been coming here since we moved to Roswell in the early 1990's. While it has changed owners several times I love coming here for several reasons 1. Old world charm. The place has been unchanged since I was a kid. 2. Old fashion candies and snacks. When I was in highschool we would stop by here after school and grab a slim Jim, Soda and a bag of purple Skittles for less than $3. (The extra $2 was gas money) They have lots of candies and snacks that you can't find in a regular convenience store. 3. They know you by name...how many places are left where they say hi to you by name after a while? It's just a fun and cute little place with lots of old world charm. I purchased three bags of Doritos and the bill came to almost $20. I asked the very nice cashier if she could go ahead and refund my money because that price is insane. She called the owner, "Jimmy" and he told her no. I got on the phone with him and he was extremely combative, rude, called me a Karen and then said fuck you! Yes, he used the full word. sorry to post that word on here. Please don't shop at . The prices are more than double anywhere else and the owner is a horrible person! I've lived in Roswell for almost 20 years. I cannot believe this just happened to me. Both the cashier and I ended up in tears after she heard the call I had with this awful person. read more

This place is truly the worst establishment in the area. I park the car and exit to find the saddest most depressing pile of rotted fire wood which they "say" is good firewood. I walk in and instantly get a whiff of diarrhea and almost like minty fresh mouthwash was poured over it to mask the stench. I turn left and see an elderly lady betting her last penny on the slots, muttering stuff to herself. The overall vibe of the place was just sad but also mysterious like the random door hidden behind the drink freezer which when I say it was literally blowing hot air inside I mean it. I went to get an iced tea but reach in to find it literally hotter than room temperature. Like come on just leaving the drink out in the open would have been better. The secret door ended up leading to some sketchy outhouse which I can only describe as creepy and eerie where extra stock is stored. Not to mention if you look at it from the outside it looks like a sketchy shack attached to the side of the dirty and stinky building. The place has fake Labubus and vapes everywhere in sight. You turn one way VAPE the other VAPE. And the worst part is that they had the most bland and boring chip selection of all time. They had 2 lays flavors. This place has a bitcoin machine where they are scamming elderly people out of thousands of dollars. My 80 year old mother was scammed out of over $20,000. The scammers specifically told them to go to this location to put their money in the bitcoin machine and the owner not only helped her put the money in the machine when she told him that she didn't know what she was doing but brought her a chair to sit in because it was going to take her that long to deposit her money. They are thieves and scam the elderly. read more

This place was magical. The brown walls stained with dirt reminded me of my childhood home where my father beat me. On the way in, this old man gave me free brownies and of course I took them. Inside the store, the guy behind the register offered me some weed for a great price that i was satisfied with. Great place!! read more

The owner is super friendly, as is the staff. The wine selection is amazing and anything you need is ready and waiting. I'm so grateful Corner Grocery is less than a half mile away. I'm in and out 5x a week and always feel welcome. read more

Although it's not in top shape, the new owner had made a significant changes, the store is so much brighter, new and clean floors, he added more coolers for great variety of beverages to choose from. (He carries "Red Rock" ginger ale, the best tasting ginger ale!), very friendly laid back owner, he always makes me feel at home and welcomed. Staying open late is a big plus for me, I often go home late so I can stop in to get some snacks, beverages and lite groceries (fresh eggs, butter, milk, bread, etc. hahaha) He listens to his customer, so on occasion I see the product I told him about shows up in the store. read more

I probably stop here 3-4 times a week. No, it is not plush. But, prices are reasonable and the employees are kind. Every neighborhood would be lucky to have a place like this. read more
