Over the past 2 years I have been in and out of this Walgreens in Roswell, Georgia, as I took care of both my elderly parents. Whether the pharmacy staff, including Bing and all the ladies or Kelly in the photo section, all of my interactions have been great. Each and every time I showed up, they all greeted me and took an interest beyond what I might have expected from a large chain store. In fact, this store in particular, feels like "my hometown pharmacy". When my father passed away last year, the staff were more than kind and offered their condolences. It was so amazing to show up after my mom had appointments and new medications prescribed half an hour earlier and have them ready or if it was super busy, getting a call when they were ready. Having lived in Chicago for 28 years, I have been a Walgreens customer for decades now. This location on Crossville Rd in Roswell is the worst- the Pharmacy, that is- that I have ever experienced. Zero customer service and they don't appear to care about it. They seem to hate waiting on you. Now that I am permanently in GA, I plan to switch to Kroger down the street. This review is for the pharmacy at this location. Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I pulled up through drive through to get my prescription. KEISHA got my phone number and said there was no prescription ready for me. I showed her my app and said I had an alert my order was ready for pickup. She seemed annoyed and extremely unhelpful. She continued to say there was nothing for pickup. I asked her to look again and gave her my birthday. She finally realized I had two accounts (I have never had this issue in over 4 years of using Walgreens Pharmacy). My pickup order was indeed ready and she went to retrieve it. She told me the amount and I went to grab my debit card. I am 7 months pregnant and have a hard time bending to get anything. As I reached down I realized I didn't have the card I wanted to use (I did however have a different form of payment) KEISHA says they are closing for lunch. I say "please give me a minute to find a different card." For times sake I asked if they could put one on file for me. She said "no we're closing for lunch". Then an associate named ALLEY came over and said "we're closed sorry you'll have to come back" They could not wait ONE MINUTE for me to grab a different form of payment for a woman 7 months pregnant. I work in customer service and this is UNACCEPTABLE. KEISHA AND ALLEY do not deserve their jobs. I will NEVER be returning to this location. I had to wait 30 mins and come back to pick it up and at this point I was in tears. read more

went to appt. for COVID test. I know they were very overwhelmed, but almost rude. After going home and waiting for an hour, I received an email saying my prescription was ready. i assumed it was in reference to the test result. since I had no prescription request. it was not,. I called to see if I could get the results I was told that I had put in an incorrect email . Since they were able to send me an email about a nonexistent prescription, I feel sure the same email could have been used for results. I would definitely recommend that you go somewhere else for testing or other pharmacy needs. read more

The pharmacy has the absolute slowest service you'll ever encounter. There is always a line inside and the drive thru, forget it! You're bound to get rude, special needs or incompetent. Horrible. read more

The pharmacist all have the worst attitude. No knowledge either. Save yourself the trouble find a better pharmacy.

I've had one great experience here with stars although it turned out not to be the same every other time. Today I made a purchase using coupons and the manager had such an attitude with me it was uncomfortable just to stand there. If the store wasn't close I would definitely not return read more

Worst experience with a Walgreen's pharmacy ever. Made appt for bivalent booster. Something went wrong on the vaccine.gov site. Rude pharmacy tech was unnecessarily harsh and inflexible. Can't bother to offer a solution like Publix has done for my parents, friends, etc. My mistake trying to go to Walgreen's in the first place. Opioid crisis complicit company maintains its super awesome culture. read more

Moved closer to Crossville & King rds location since 1993. Saw Walgreens being built and became a customer at both the shop and pharmacy. I went in yesterday 4/24/21 around 5;45pm to drop off a FedEx return. Stood there for a long 5 minutes and saw the pharmacist walking by. Asked for to call someone to help me and she said "oh she is right here". Next tome was this masked young Caucasian lady laughing away with whom I thought were her friends. She was there when I was walking up now 7 mins ago. She looked at me in front of the others and said I didn't see you there. So that was my first problem. Our eyes did meet before and I know she ignored me still making a couple people pose for pics. I told her that's sad that you didn't see me. She came toward the counter and in the most demeaning way proceeded speaking very slowly how I needed to ring the bell for assistance. I asked her so now will you help me and she said "no" and walked towards those other folks. I told her I'll leave then and she told me to "go ahead". Under my breath I whispered "b...ch". I tried to call Walgreens from my car to complain and I was told the store manager and the head pharmacist both were gone for the day! I don't know and understand this young culture that they can be so disrespectfully rude and think it's okay. Worst is I cannot understand why Walgreens have them working in their houses. Sorry Walgreen! You lost a ling time and very good customer. There are too many other pharmacies to shop at. I'll go back to the place that was always good to me, CVS. This is the WORST Walgreens I have ever been to. I walked in with a tote style purse that could fit my smallish laptop. I was told to leave my purse at the front?! I politely said,"Sorry I have valuables in it, but if it's a big deal someone can follow me i just have to grab 3 things. I can wait until you find someone." The woman replied by saying "Ain't nobody got time to follow you." I would have left right then, but I really needed the items so I ignored the sales clerk got my items and went to the cash register while still carrying my tote. I made a purchase of about $40 and left. To be followed by the lady saying,"Now don't think I'm being racist or nothing". If it was a big deal to them that's fine but I did not get upset and asked if its an issue someone can follow me. The store was empty enough that someone could. If it was a big deal to them they should have followed me and not been rude. Next time I will being taking my service elsewhere. WORST SERVICE EVER. read more

The pharmacy at this location is as incompetent as they come, especially Sonya! Brought a prescription over to them, told they have it in stock but it will be an hour to fill. Get a call back in 30 minutes to say "they didn't realize what the prescription was written for".... Come again? So had to go back to get a new prescription from the doctor. Get this one to them and am told it will be about two hours now because they are backed up but they definitely have this in stock. Come back over two hours later and told that they are just now getting to it. Then they say "oh we don't have enough to fill this prescription and we can't hold the balance as due since it is a controlled substance" so you can take the almost half we have and go back to the doctor for a new prescription or you can come back in a few days to get all of it. How do you not know how much of a CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE is on hand before you make someone wait almost THREE HOURS?? I could have gone to another pharmacy! Then they tell me to stand aside and wait and start filling other prescriptions off to the side ignoring the half I just told them in frustration I would begrudgingly take since I had waited three hours. Really, so obviously customer service is unimportant and every person that came in after me should clearly come first! Asked for store manager, whom I am told is Steven, and they send who I thought was him with his cookies in hand a beverage to me. I asked in disbelief "your the store manager". Well no, but the store manager is helping out in another store that needs him.... Um news flash Steven Bates and a suggestion to Walgreens in general, this store NEEDS a store manager on site if when he is gone you get the cookie and pop kid! read more

This is a shout out to Sheryl and Tracy/Stacey (not sure which it is) for excellent customer service and making things right for me with a photo book order. I was ready to give up shopping Walgreen's, particularly this store, until I met Sheryl and her colleague. I was returning a photo book that had been printed with key pictures out of order. The first person I talked to about this several days ago argued with me and said he had gotten the order right. He also used what I consider to be inappropriate language saying the word, "pi##ed" a couple times. I left the store frustrated and thinking I wouldn't shop there again. After thinking about it a couple days I decided to go back and request a refund for the photo book. That's when I met Sheryl and her colleague. They made things right by listening to me, empathizing, offering to give me the book at no cost. Because of them, I'll continue shopping at Walgreen's and I've ordered another copy of the photo book. I hope Sheryl and her colleague will be acknowledged by Walgreen's. As for the gentlemen who didn't help, I hope he'll receive some training and guidance to help him understand how to provide good customer service. read more
