Additionally, they never send texts that they are ready - instead, they send the texts they are ready to pick up as you are literally picking up your medicine. One time I ran out of a prescription and they said they'd call my doctor to request more. This literally took them a week to do after they offered. What are they doing here?

If you have monthly refills you might be able to save quite a bit of money at Goodson. The pharmacist will take the time to discuss the medication and give you an information sheet. If you don't feel like walking inside, give them a call when you pull in the parking lot and they will bring your meds out to the car. I just wanted to know if I'd been disconnected or if I should call back later in the day. The pharmacist himself rudely schooled me on how long he has to wait on hold transferring other people's medications to his store and that I shouldn't complain about five minutes. I tried to explain I just wondered if I ought to call back later and he kept on. I transferred my prescription to Publix instead as their price and customer service exceeded that of Sawnee Drug. I had high hopes for this mom and pop store but my hopes were massively deflated! Never again.

They have some of the old time remedies that I haven't seen since I was a child and my grandmother would bring out the "salve" to take care of what ailed me. Liniments, salves, cough drops, you name it. They have a great selection of medical and non-medical products. They also have durable medical equipment to buy or rent. DMEs like knee walkers, wheelchairs, regular walkers, over the bed trays, and even diabetic shoes. Check them out and add them to the list of "go-to" places.

I wish I could give this pharmacy ZERO stars, because even one star feels undeserved…read more My family has been using this pharmacy for over 30 years, which makes what happened to my 84-year-old grandmother even more disgusting and disappointing. My grandmother was given her heart medication, which was supposed to contain 90 pills. Instead, she received only 30. When she went back to the pharmacy to address the issue, rather than simply investigating their mistake, she was accused of stealing her own medication. Let that sink in: an 84-year-old woman was accused of stealing medication that was prescribed to HER. Are you kidding me? My grandmother would never steal anything--ever. She was so humiliated and hurt by the way she was treated that she cried about it for days. No elderly person who has been a loyal customer for decades should ever be made to feel like a criminal because a pharmacy failed to properly fill her prescription. And before anyone tries to imply that she somehow needed to steal medication, my grandparents have worked hard and owned multiple businesses in Forsyth County throughout their adult lives. Stealing has never been part of who they are. The most upsetting part isn't even the missing medication--mistakes can happen. It's the way the situation was handled. Instead of showing basic respect, compassion, and professionalism, my grandmother was treated like she was guilty of something she would never do. After more than 30 years of loyalty, my family is officially DONE with this pharmacy. We will never use them again, and I sincerely hope they think twice before treating another elderly customer this way. Do better. An apology after the damage is done doesn't erase the humiliation you caused.

My doctor called in my prescription on Thursday, they told me they will deliver it - no ETA, no message. I texted them saying can I pick up, they just sent me an FAQ document, then this idiot calls me on a closed day - asks me do you happen to have the container in your hand - I said no- what do you need- he says can you go it there is something important I need from the label - I go upstairs to look at it and he sarcastically says look at the yellow label - its says 2 -week refill - well looks like they dont tell this to the doctor who is calling in that the patient wont receive a prescription for 2 weeks after the doctor calls it in - so you take the business and you treat the customer like shit!
