Kroger Fuel Center. This location has 8 gas pumps.
    Daniel B.

I stopped by this Kroger to fill up on gas on my way to Echelon Golf Club. It's not far off Georgia 400 exit 11, Windward Parkway. This Kroger has a Kroger Fuel Center (gas station). The Kroger Fuel Centers I've been to around town are all small gas stations with approximately a half-dozen or so pumps. They're offshoots of the grocery stores and you can save money on gas by using your Kroger Plus membership. I have the Kroger app on my phone, but you don't really need the app if you have an alternate ID set up. You can punch your alternate ID into the machine when paying for gas. My alternate ID is my phone number. On this particular visit, using my Kroger Plus membership saved me $0.03 per gallon. The regular price for premium unleaded was $2.459 per gallon and the membership price was $2.429 per gallon. This Kroger Fuel Center has eight pumps and each carries the three usual grades of unleaded + diesel. These Kroger Fuel Centers are by no means a replacement for full-fledged gas stations with convenience stores, but if all you need is gas and perhaps a pack of cigs (?), these should suffice. This station has a small walk-up window to purchase items like auto supplies (e.g. oil), Red Bull, and lotto tickets. I visited early on a Sunday morning around 7:20 AM and learned something new. The attendant had opened the heavy fuel caps on the ground and was using absorbent pads to soak up water accumulation in the underground gas storage tanks. I had no idea that was even a thing until my visit here. The attendant was nice.

They stink. 10:00 am on a Saturday and no rotisserie chicken and olive bar not open. Left and headed to Publix

I haven't been on a weekday, but entering on a Saturday morning had no traffic entering or exiting. --Ambience-- Similar to all other Publix, which is well clean and organized. Some Publix can run on the dirty side, but this was one of the cleanest stores in the area. --Service/Staff-- Staff can vary per store, no issues with the staff. --Products/Service-- I wish Publix had more sales and this is the downfall that their prices are getting up there or surpassing Whole Foods. Some of the items list a combo sale of buying more than one or a BOGO, but there is no price stated on the shelf. --Capacity-- Indoor capacity can hold 200+ people. Normal size supermarket store layout. --Overall-- Recommended if you are looking for specialty items or ingredients or high quality seafood and meats, but I don't recommend the supermarket as your weekly or monthly shopping because of the high prices.

I have always loved Publix and their selection of produce and products. The buy one get one free specials are the best and help me stock up when I need to for groceries. I do wish they had a Publix in Indiana, because my life would be so much easier and less hectic trying to find the particular products I need for my pantry. The staff are wonderful and always willing to lend a helping hand when you need it. Plus it is very easy to navigate around the store. Publix is the best grocery store around and I hope we get one in Indianapolis, Indiana very soon. People will flock to the Publix in Indianapolis.

Kroger is my very favorite grocer. I hardly shop for groceries elsewhere. In over three decades as…read morea Kroger customer, this has never occurred to me before at any Kroger store I have shopped at. I approached the self-checkout kiosk to begin scanning my groceries. I noticed a paper coupon that had been spit from the kiosk's mini printer was left by a previous customer. I removed the coupon from the printer. Before I had a chance to determine whether it was a promotional coupon or Kroger information printout, the Kroger self-checkout attendant, routinely known for her domineering disposition snatched the coupon from my hand, tore it to shreds and deposited the pieces in the trash container. The employee claimed that the printed paper coupon was tied to another customer's Kroger account. I did some investigating by engaging a session with a Kroger chat agent as well as with Kroger customer telephone support representative. Kroger addresses promotional codes being non-transferable but there is no written policy in reference to printed coupons. I routinely receive Kroger paper coupons in the mail. When I have Kroger coupons I do not intend to redeem, I courteously leave those coupons next to their appropriate items within Kroger stores for other Kroger shoppers to use. I have never had a Kroger employee stop me from doing this. There is no Kroger policy prohibiting this practice. Employees such as the one I unpleasantly encountered during this occurrence are a liability to Kroger, not a benefit. I sympathize with a store manager who must deal with the routine consequences of such callous and unprofessional behavior.

I want…read moreto begin by noting that I was very pleased with the food offerings and pricing, including the fried chicken, sushi, and fresh fruit selections. Unfortunately, my experience at the self-checkout was concerning and prompted me to reach out. While completing my purchase, an employee working the self-checkout area approached to verify my identification for a beverage purchase. I presented my ID as requested. The employee insisted on physically holding my ID card, stating it was store policy so she could determine whether it was real. After I showed my ID and put it away, she asked to see it again because the birth date had been entered incorrectly. During this second request, she attempted to take the ID from my hand in a forceful manner. I found this interaction embarrassing, uncomfortable, and a clear disregard for my personal space. I have been a loyal Kroger customer for many years and spend a significant amount annually at your stores, so this experience was especially disappointing. I fully understand the importance of ID verification; however, I do not believe it is necessary for an employee to physically take a customer's wallet or ID, nor to handle the situation in a way that feels accusatory or aggressive. I respectfully ask that this incident be reviewed and that your team be reminded of appropriate customer service standards.

I only had a $54 purchase and it could have been in only 3 bags, in my opinion. Plus, I had added a $10 tip for my shopper, which they keep 100% of. The order was delivered on time, quietly to my front door. There were a few substitutions I had approved in advance if not available, mostly of inorganic items for organic that I wanted, that lowered my final cost. Everything was in excellent condition. All in all it was worth it this time. It didn't really save me any time, because it took me over an hour to find what I needed online and they didn't have everything I wanted. But, I had been camping all weekend - my feet were killing me and I needed a shower, a nap, and to put everything away, and to wash everything. So I am happy my favorite grocery store has delivery service! When I think about it now, using Delivery probably saved me about $100. When I go into the store, I find so much great stuff, that I always spend another $100 on stuff I didn't know I had to have! LOL, which takes me an extra hour anyway.
