Came in here the other day for a beer run. The selection of beers they have is pretty unbelievable whether you want to make your own customized case or just grab a select few regardless your options are endless. Though the store is rather small it is jam packed with booze of all sorts. The staff here is very kind and helpful. The woman behind the counter carried my beers out for me so I wouldn't have to make two trips. I thought that was extremely nice and helpful.

Must have driven past this place 500 times over the years, don't know why I never stopped in before. The beer selection here is incredible, by the pack, by the case, single bottles... I can't think of a beer that's not here. First time I came in I spent 20 minutes just trying to get a handle in what they have in offer. Also an excellent selection of American bourbons and vodka. Plenty of other liquor and what seems like a decent wine selection, but I'm no expert. I'll be back here regularly for sure!!

This is my favorite liquor store in Georgia. I've lived in Roswell, Atlanta, and Athens and this is and will always be my favorite.

The store itself isn't too big, but it has an excellent selection. It's the biggest selection of beer kits I've ever seen. They have all the equipment you could ever want, and the best part is they list their inventory and prices online. Everything I have had is top quality and the prices are very good as well. The biggest reason I go here is the workers are so nice and helpful. I don't know what I am really doing. I do everything from kits where it has step by step directions. I need that, and every time I get something here they are really good about ensuring that I know exactly how to use whatever I am buying. I feel like other stores I have done to can get so high nosed. They don't want to help people that does kits. They look down on people like that and make you feel dumb for asking questions. That is not true here. They make everyone feel good and happy about what they want to do and it just makes the whole process more enjoyable. That's why I will be a lifelong customer of this store.

Red's reminds me of the package store my Dad patronized at the "county line" in Texas. We lived in…read morea dry county, so Pop had to drive a few miles to buy Scotch. (Dad didn't drink often...but his pours were of mythical size.) Red's is as the corner of DeVore and Alpharetta Hwy. Better look both ways before entering and exiting the parking lot, 'cuz you can get your block knocked off from three-way traffic if you don't. They have a nifty little promo called the Red's Bag, a handled red bag that holds six bottles of wine. 5% off of a filled Red's Bag. Red's has a modest but respectable selection of wine. (I've noticed that most of the patrons are liquor buyers.) The store carries my go-to wine, Red Diamond Merlot. A few words about Merlot. Merlot fell from favor roughly a nano-second after the debut of the romantic dramedy "Sideways", starring Paul Giamatti. Giamatti's character makes a pronouncement against Merlot during the film, and ever since, a disguise is required to buy or order Merlot. I can't recall a more profound and nonsensical response to a film since Jaws kept swimmers out of country club swimming pools. My every-day, go-to wine is Red Diamond Merlot. It's going to take a dude more imposing than Giamatti to keep me away from something I like, and second, Red Diamond Merlot is--I'm going on a limb here--the most undervalued bottle of wine on the planet. At $7,99, this humble little wine drinks like a $29 bottle. Back to the theme, Red's carries Red Diamond Merlot, and they would be getting five stars IF they kept it in stock consistently. The last time I went, they were completely out. Nothing on the shelf. Nothing in stock. So I'm being a big baby and denying them the fifth (no pun intended) star. I'll go back to Red's some day when I get over being hurt. Drink Merlot.

It is extremely rare when I award a business with 5 glowing stars but when service, price and…read moreselection are all exemplary, 5-stars are rightfully earned. First, some background. I had called the Kroger store at Saddlebrook and spoke to the customer service representative. I asked the Kroger employee to check inventory for a particular, but not at all popular, beer item. The employee looked into the computer and told me there were four 4-packs on the shelf. We only live 2.4 miles from the Kroger store but when we arrived there were zero 4-packs on the shelf. I found out from another Kroger employee that the store's computer system is notoriously inaccurate. The customer service employee should have taken a 20-second walk to the beer cooler to lay eyes on the product. Instead, the lazy employee ended up wasting our time, money and effort on a useless drive to Kroger. My wife had to the good fortune to stop at Pop's! a few days later. They had the specialty beer product in stock and the counter employee went so far as to retrieve more of them from the beer cooler, so that my wife would not have to make a second trip to the back of the store. The stellar customer service didn't stop there. The store employee carried the items to the car and loaded them into the vehicle. My wife was flabbergasted. When she recounted the story to me she said she thought she had entered a time warp, traveling back to the halcyon days in America when service counted for something. Incredible! Not only that, the price on the product was better than Kroger or Walmart. We will be returning to Pop's! Wine & Spirits as a regular customer.

Grat place to shop. They have a large variety of wines. The employees are consistently helpful.read more

Small. Hidden. Gem…read more If you're a beer lover of course. Peachtree Growler is hidden in a shopping plaza and you wouldn't know of it unless you know (thanks Yelp!). Looking for a brewery that didn't have that many people I found this spot for my weekend to try out. The beer selections were wide and diverse. The person serving the drinks was very helpful. Porters, sours, ales, whatever they had is at your disposal. And since the store is called Peachtree Growler...you guessed it. They sell growlers. Now, if you don't want Growlers, one would think that they would just offer just pints. Nope. And I guess that's the only one thing that is disappointing to me is that they only have flights. Which I guess isn't a bad thing, but sometimes if you find one you like you should just get that one right? Maybe a couple of beers and be quits. I think though, this place doesn't have the space to accommodate that type of crowd which is why they choose to stick to flights and growlers. No complaints here! If you have a growler, ask and they'll fill it up with whatever you want. Before coming here, I was seriously thinking about just buying a growler that could last in the fridge but on second thoughts...the empty carbs didn't sit right with me. If you don't have a growler, you can get one from Peachtree and they'll happily sell you one. Note though: if you're trying to keep the beer for a while, ask recommendations on how long it should stay in the fridge and how long you have to drink it because not all beers are made equal out of the keg! Overall, Peachtree really questioned my desire to drink all the beers and really get into the beer world as I've flirted and have tasted a lot of beers over the years and get a growler. Very tempting. Very, very tempting. But I'll just settle on flights when I come here and try all the types of beers without fully going in. I would think of this place as a treat. But...maybe I should buy a growler...
