I shop at ALDI for groceries regularly. They often have the best prices, and the brands they sell (often Canadian or other international) are a notch better as far as quality ingredients. Be sure to bring your own bags or you will have to purchase them here. Additionally, you have to put a quarter in to use a cart (you get the quarter back when you return the cart). This location is clean and usually well stocked. There are few employees, but that's part of the design. The cashiers can be short sometimes -- they're focused on getting people through the line rather than interacting with customers. Pro tip: always check the savings and seasonal sections -- best aisles in the store!! read more

So sad - ALDI has become a great alternative to expensive groceries, but bad management and poor attitudes make this location challenging. Example - they have run out of coconut water in the front of the store so when we asked if they had any in the back, they certainly do, but refuse to go get any. Same for several other items that they have in the back, but are not willing to help. The pithy response was "you can come back tomorrow." Hmmm, most of us grocery shop on the days that we have the ability to grocery shop because the rest of the week is full of work and commitments. THE CORONA CHRONICLES: ALDI There are quite a few businesses that have really stepped up in order to make sure that customers feel safe and have a nice shopping experience during this difficult time. When I recently visited this store on Good Friday, employees were wiping down quarts and handing them directly to customers, (no quarter needed). On the way out, they would take the cart and immediately disinfect it before handing it off to the next customer. Customers love to see this because peace of mind is priceless. As you enter the store, there were signs reminding you to keep your distance from others and the cashiers did not mind asking customers to take a step back from others as they waited in line. Of course, customers easily complied. I enjoy shopping at Aldi because I can cover ground quickly and get in and out easily. They always have produce and dairy items stocked and I really like exploring the floor freezer to check out interesting snacks and foods, like chicken pizza with alfredo sauce, German Danish and spaetzle. If you aren't already shopping Aldi's, you really need to check them out! read more

Staff here have the worst attitudes possible. Not sure why they only hire people who don't know how to interact with other humans. Once when I was loading my items for checkout and the cashier just stops and stares at me. I asked her if she was waiting on me, as they usually have another cart in front to load groceries onto and she proceeded to snap at me and with an attitude says "Yeah I'm waiting on you, I need your cart, you have the water and the baby" then she proceeded to roll her eyes as I tried my best to hurry to put my last items on there for her to scan. She then grabbed my cart that I had my one year old seated in and forcefully put it next to her and got annoyed that my (again one year old) was trying to press the card reader. Wouldn't have had that issue if she had a separate cart to load my groceries in, but the cashier seemed less than smart. If you would like to be treated as a human I would recommend not coming to this ALDIs. read more

If you want to encounter a human that realizes that they are dealing with other humans, stay away from here. Didn't have a cart, put our things into our reusable bags while shopping, unloaded them onto the belt, and she had a cart at the end of her checkout, and when I tried to take the cart OF OUR PURCHASED THINGS only to replenish that cart with another empty cart RIGHT BEHIND her checkout counter she LEGIT greeted with "UH UH- you can take your item from this cart" and forcibly pulled the cart back into her working area and proceeded to put the next customers items on top of our items. I got 6 things of pizzas, a milk and bagel item. Fuck this place, fuck your "customer service" workers and fuck your practices. read more

Recent remodel made the store look great and it was much more organized. It's still Aldi but it is one of the best I've been in recently. The produce was much better looking and they had a larger inventory then in the past. read more

Value oriented private label a-go-go....I am always surprised at how low the prices are on many items that do not have to be branded. Aldi is a German company so the chocolate, jams, wine, and some of the sausages are made in Germany. High quality, value priced - worthy for cherry picking. read more

Just left Aldi about 30 minutes ago. I don't know what it is but the last time I went there was a creepy older man kinda following me around from aisle to aisle in an attempt to make light general conversation. This time it was a much much older man trying to explain the difference of farm fresh fruits and produces versus generic. All unwanted convo. I'm used to the BYOBag and pay a quarter for a cart, get it back at the end, so that's no biggie. However, their produce always looks less than desirable. Everything else is pretty neat and clean and easy to find. They're definitely always understaffed. There was only one cashier and the store was packed. She rang things up very quickly though, so there's the upside. Only go if you have time to wait in a line. The prices, however are pretty great. read more

We thought we'd look at how much we would save by going to Aldi. Turns out, we saved 100% because we walked out with an empty bag (that you have to bring yourself). I'd heard that it's a good place to get produce, but all they had was potatoes and bags of onions. The place smelled and was very unorganized. The final straw was when we heard some Hispanic mom yelling at her kids who were out of control and then noticed she was changing a diaper in the middle of the store. The manager here was extremely rude. I came in for a job fair and she took a look at my schedule availability and immediately decided she had no 9-5 schedules while also refusing to tell me which shifts were available. She was unpleasant and very cold. I wouldn't recommend working with someone like that. Now as a customer I hope I don't have to encounter her again. read more

I just came from the Aldis on Mansell and Holcomb, my first trip there, it was very clean and organized, and I went straight for the meat and veggie isle...the fresh chicken was priced very low as was the beef and pork...the veggies looked great and not picked over....I chose wild caught frozen salmon steaks....and pantry staples were more than reasonable...the cashier was super friendly, too...I will definitely be back weekly...I was there Monday morning at 10. read more

All about the prices! Kroger store brand backing soda is .78, Walmart is .88, Aldi is .50. Sure you don't get lots of selection- make your meals when you walk in. Remember some of the oddball stuff might not be there next time (like summer pool supplies). I wish other retailers followed this model (.25 for the buggy, recycling boxes/bags). Yes the locations are wonky, but I can't tell a difference between the house brand and other brands. Fun fact- they are owned by the same folks as super-trendy Trader Joes. read more

Have shopped here since store opened, however past three trips I have walked out empty handed. The produce and fruit were either rotten, or non existent, and although I picked up a few items, I refused to stand in a line of 30 people with only once cashier, while there was staff in the main office or in back where they compress boxes. Went in Sunday at 6:45 pm. It looked like the place had been looted, and then a bomb went off. Empty boxes everywhere and 85% of the produce displays were empy. Some rotting bananas and oranges out. I asked what happened, and was told "there were only two of us here today." They were nice and tried to located the 3 items I came in for - and eventually found 2 of them. I do shop at Aldi's (Roswell and Johns Creek) but have learned to carefully select items. Dry goods are fine. Produce is another issue. Aldi's does not transport nor store their produce properly so it spoils quickly if it isn't already beyond help. I simply choose not to purchase their produce. Wine, Coffee, Cereal, Pasta, Crackers, canned goods, dairy, etc. are fine. read more

I buy most of my meat and produce here. They have great deals on their milk and other things, too. My only complaint is they usually have one cashier and the line can get long fast. And sometimes the cashiers will be putting stock up and no realize people are waiting to checkout. Other than that, I love it. read more
