We regularly purchase fresh vegetables and fruits from this stand. The structure has a covered and outdoor area. Parking is shared with the strip mall is ample and free. The selection rotates with whatever is in season. The tomatoes are consistently delicious. We eat them in salads as well as components in cooked dishes. Service is helpful and baskets are provided for shopping. Today we purchased tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and cucumbers. I made an incredible gazpacho from these fresh ingredients. Thanks to Yelp, I found Sherry's Produce. It's a small but effective place. Depending on the season, whatever fruits and veggies are available. There's also another side of the place, it's small and has jar goods and bread too. I thought I had to buy everything in the green basket but I didn't have to. I didn't even know that! I am so in love with green beans and theirs look so yummy! They had a variety of apples but my favorite is Pink Lady but they didn't have. I was recommended the Sweet Tango and OMG!!! Move over Pink Lady. Sweet Tango is THE best apple I have ever tasted. It's so good. So sweet and crispy. I have to go back and get. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Sherry's Produce has the freshest fruits & vegetable for amazing prices. From Midtown it's about a 20 minute drive but a straight shot up Ponce to Lawrenceville Highway. They are soooooo nice too. Today I didn't necessarily need anything but it was just worth the drive to go see them. I did leave with oranges, tomatoes & cucumbers anyway and I know I'll be back again next week. Love love this farm-stand! The people there are very nice and friendly. The produce is wonderful. I buy with my eyes and taste buds and can always find something! Employees are very helpful. When the fresh peas and okra are in - stock up - You'll miss them in January. I always make a pot of one of their peas (they have a variety) for Thanksgiving - always a hit with the family. I've been going to Sherry's produce since I was a child. My mother would take us there often and it's so welcoming and great produce.

I ADORE this spot. Not only for the hand painted sunflower on the building or the hap-hazard string lighting, they have the most delicious local fruits and veggies available for purchase. The produce is set out on the tables inside this road side stand in cute little baskets. I thought you had to buy everything in the basket and was overwhelmed thinking I had to eat six ripe plums before they went bad, but was told "you don't have to buy the whole basket, we just do that because it's pretty". Everything is seasonal, so in summer they have watermelon and fall they have pumpkins. The employees know what they are talking about with the fruit they are selling. If you ask for a recommendation on what is the best or in season, they will happily tell you. Sometimes they even let you taste the fruit on site, like the grapes, before you buy. My husband swears by their watermelon. On top of having scrumptious fruits, they also sell some plants. The hanging floral baskets and lawn plants are so vibrant and selection is anything but limited. I believe the floral baskets are usually in the in $25-30 range, but as each is unique, so is the price. My favorite things here are the potted herbs. They have your traditional basil, thyme, rosemary, etc, but my top picks are the spicy oregano and strawberry-basil. YASSSS Please! Sherry's is delivering the goods. You have to park behind the stand - do not pull into the little drive way on site, that is mostly for deliveries, but there is a large easily accessible parking lot right behind the building. read more

I will give them credit for being nicer than their competition. But they lack good organization and communication. I had gone in there to buy produce, and I had to use the restroom. The sales lady told me that her uncle was using the restroom, and that it would be a few minutes. After the uncle came out, I went back to find that there was no restroom. Well, the uncle told me that they had no restroom. They are not obligated to provide a public restroom, but they are obligated to be honest with their customers. Perhaps they should consider placing a No Public Restroom sign. Until they get their facts and policies straight, I will not be giving them anymore of my money. read more

I stopped by Sherry's Produce on Sunday to purchase some tomato's and peaches for canning. I wasn't going to have time for canning until my day off on Wednesday, needless to say, I wasn't looking for the freshest or most ripe at that time. During my observation of the baskets available for purchase I felt as though I were shopping at Walmart and under scrutiny for theft. A gentleman approached and firmly asked what I was there to purchase. When I told him, he quickly grabbed some bags and made my selections for me, commenting that each basket put into the bag was a "good bunch". We'll, they weren't. The peaches were over ripe and did not make it until I could prep and prepare them for canning before going bad. The tomato's fared better but not by much. Had I have been able to select my own, I would not have gotten the selections made for me. I have shopped here for years for produce and Christmas trees but will seek produce elsewhere now. If i wanted to be followed around and treated like a crook, I would shop at Walmart. read more

Omg!!!! I stopped here today after getting me some watermelon shea butter from Mother's Earth. But their green grapes is so delicious!!! Their seedless but very sweet. I completely stumbled upon this place the other day on my way to ACE Hardware and then drug my boyfriend back the next day to get pumpkins to carve. Their pumpkin selection was great; they had tons of huge, beautiful pumpkins! We bought two along with a few oranges and a couple sweet potatoes. Everything looked really high quality and was also affordable. Plus, their avocados looked better than anything I've found in Publix. Will definitely be back! read more

This place has been around for years. It's down-home friendly with some of the freshest produce around. They are open March through December for all of your produce and live plant needs. Come for the tomatoes- they have the nicest garden-fresh ones you'll ever find. Its like having a neighbor with a booming crop. But don't stop there- squash, okra, fruit, peas and beans- even boiled peanuts! In the spring they have live plants for your garden- vegetables, herbs and annuals. Their flowering baskets are quite lovely and well-priced. I really stocked up this year! In the fall, its the place to get your mums and pumpkins. For Christmas, they have the most beautiful selection of trees, wreaths and garland. It's really good, old-fashioned school farm stand goodness. The folks here are very helpful- quick to help carry your purchases to your car. You can pull through from either Lawrenceville Highway or Brockett Road, but those "in the know" pull up in the lot behind. The are open until 6:30 or 7, so stop by and get your goodies for a fresh dinner. I'll see you there! read more

Another must try if you live in the Decatur/Tucker area! The small produce selection is farm-fresh and super cheap, which is why I stop here before going to the YDFM. The flowering baskets in the spring are superior to Home Depot/Ace Hardware and are cheaper, as are the fall selection of pumpkins and small gourds. They also carry a selection of handmade jams/jellies/sauces that are yummy! Parking is plentiful if you go to the Value Village parking lot and park behind the place and walk up. If you have anything heavy to carry, they have a guy who will bring it to your car - you don't see that often anymore. :) read more

Keep in mind that they are only open March-December, but these months bring in wonderful produce. What the hell?!? Thanks for having me load my 35-week pregnant wife and 22-month old toddler in the car to drive down for boiled peanuts and closing early even after I called! That was very rude and inconsiderate. I specifically called at 6:25 last night and asked what time you were open until. 9pm. I asked if you had boiled peanuts, yes. You said you'd have a 5-lb bag ready for us when we got there. You asked how far we were and I said Lilburn, about 10 mins away. It ended us taking 20, and by the time we got there at 6:45, you were completely closed down and gone. I called multiple times and walked around the building, along with another customer wondering why it was closed. If you're going to screw over your customers and close right after you said you were open and waiting for them, the least you could have done was leave a note, knowing I would be there in mere minutes. Have some respect for the people that help keep you in business. This 1-star review is specific to this encounter. My wife and I usually enjoy this place. read more
