Transfer to new unit was easy. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Not the most luxurious facility, but clean, and seems to be very secure. Locks are checked occasionally to be sure you put your lock on correctly. I didn't once, and they called me. Very reassuring. read more

Well this place was just ridiculous. The woman helping us was very nice but during the fifteen minutes I was here, I could not believe my eyes. During the tour of units, there was large animal feces in a hallway!! And she complained about having to pick it up later. There were several lights that did not turn on so we walked in the dark. My favorite part had to be the two customers who were cussing each other out because a man was putting his belongings into a woman's storage unit. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I had two storage units at this location and in process of moving out. The temperature control units are bogus as noticed when visiting the facility. There is no security at this location since the back door is always broken. Since we have been there it has been broken 4 times. During this time the back is wide open which is insecure when it comes to your belonging and safety. The staff parks inside which is meant for customer parking which is frustrating as well. This place also increases the pricing in you every few months. Not worth spending your money here unless you are desperate. I checked their reviews on Google+ and somehow they are all 5 stars which leads me to believe that they have fake reviewers. I've had no issues at this place. This is the second time I have rented from them. First time over a year ago and the second time just very recent. Denise is the manager. She showed us around to our new unit. This is the first time I have seen her. She was very knowledgeable and polite about all of my questions. I didn't see any issues with cleanliness or broken equipment. Prices are actually very fair. Other places in the country are far more expensive compared to the Midwest. read more

Just rented storage unit yesterday and Adriana couldn't have been more helpful. She spent time to ensure we decided on the appropriate size unit and the number of boxes we needed to purchase to fit our belongings. The building is nice and clean, has good security and is climate controlled. This facility is crap! The staff is obnoxiously rude, the units are over priced. We called the customer service number to hold a unit, was quoted a price came here to wheaton public storage where it was held for us, the rude woman tells us it's 60 dollars more than quoted then told us the customer service people are always wrong on their pricing, wth! Then they only have two rollers and one dolly. Everytime we come here we wait almost 45 minutes to have a roller to bring stuff in our unit in the third floor. I would try another storage company and skip public storage all together read more

Very easy and comfortable process to book storage space. The online interface is intuitive and Denise called me back right away to confirm my reservation to move my stuff in. Once I got to the site, Chris was a great resource for how the site works and completing the paperwork. I was a bit concerned about having the use an elevator to move in but it was easy to park my jeep in the building and get hand trucks and carts. It was a lot quicker and easier than I had expected. The first time you go there either park on the street to the south of the property or pull up to their offices on Bridge and get them to open the main door to go outside the building. There is no on-street parking that's near the office door and once you're on Bridge it's difficult to get turned around. Read Neil S's review from 9/30 - haven't had those issues. Climate control appears to be working as does the back door. Can't say about the pricing since I'm a new and first time customer of theirs. What I do know is the place is clean and the staff helpful and it was easy to get my stuff in the storage I rented. That's all I need or want. read more

This is my second storage unit at this location and the place is clean and very well kept. Denise is very helpful and great to work with. My only complaint is if the person on duty is helping someone else and is out of the office, there's no way to get a cart. There's only 3 carts too. Many other storage units I've rented from have a large number of carts available at any time. Other than the cart issue, this place is great. read more

This was my first time renting a storage unit and it has worked out well. When I inquired about a unit this past March, Adriana was the woman who assisted me. She took my boyfriend and I for a tour and explained everything to us. She was very pleasant and friendly. The nice thing is that you are given a code to enter the garage and it is climate controlled. The gate hours are between 6am and 9pm. My only complaint is that they are 3 carts you can use and all but one are locked up. So if someone is using a cart, you have to ask the office to unlock the other ones. If you come after office hours, you pretty much have to bring your own cart to use since no one is available. read more

I have had multiple different units at this facility for the past 5-6 years. There have been a few maintenance problems, but I've never seen anything like what the other reviewers are describing. Denise is the person I speak with there most often, and she takes great care of me. She remembers people from visit to visit, and is always friendly. I don't like the annual price increases, which generally results in me moving units now and again, to lower the price. It's a pain, but it's a function of the industry, not this location. read more

The storage itself was fine but they take advantage of existing customers. My rental fee went up from $100 to $192 over 5 years, while the price for new customers is $113! If you are an existing customer, I strong suggest you move out or complain. Also, they lock up the moving carts and force you to give an ID to use it, so most of the time they are not accessible. I am now at UStoreIt in Carol Stream. Much better. read more

Wow people are really passionate about storage units on here! Well it's pretty simple. I've had a unit here 2 years. Always been clean, front desk helpful, I've never had concern about my safety or security of my belongings. I was pretty surprised to read otherwise! My job requires the facility to sign for monthly shipments on my behalf then secure them in my unit. I've never had an issue. In fact Denise has accepted shipments that were oversized and has called immediately to find solutions to the issue. I've had units at 4 different places over the years and this place is hands down the easiest to work with. read more

We were given the price we were quoted, and when we needed to move to a different unit, Donna gave us the best options. Donna and Carol have both been very helpful and are always friendly when we come in. Not sure what all the negative quotes are all about, we've never seen a rodent, the bathroom isn't great but it's adequate, and the door was broken when we moved in but was promptly repaired. (By the way, you can't blame the staff for people not paying attention and breaking things - We saw people driving out the in door, etc.) read more

Very rude and disgusting place! I have never been treated so poorly before by a place that is supposed to be customer service oriented. Could never get into the office when they were supposed to be open and then when they were there they were nasty to me? I could never get me stuff loaded into my unit since their so-called "free" carts were never available? This place has a bunch of levels and you have to carry everything to the unit. Then the higher up in the building you get the smellier it gets? I think someone had peed in the hall way? There were homeless people hanging around inside the building?? I didn't feel safe here and I felt unwanted by the staff. They didn't seem to care when I complained about all these issues, just closed out my account? I will never go back here no matter how bad I need storage?!!! read more

I have had two units in this facility for several years: one personal and one for my business. I have always found the facility to be clean. Denise, the woman who works in the office most frequently, has always been great. She's friendly, helpful, efficient, and has on occasion given courtesy calls if something comes up--as once when the rain had leaked into some units. The only thing is that once a year corporate raises the rents--too much. However, this is probably as good as any other storage facility around. read more
