From the first transaction (assigning me a parking space instead of a storage space) to the last transaction (raising my rate more than 35% just because) has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a vendor. Yes, some of the local folks (when they were at the facility) were helpful, but the company in general is a disaster to deal with! From extra insurance, to who's lock you use, and the list goes on. Not to mention, not the cleanest or tightest storage unit in the world! If you are looking for public storage, look elsewhere! read more

Price goes up every three months TOTALLY ridiculous to pay almost $200 for a 5×10. We have two brand new storage places opening here in Waxhaw, wait till they open if you can. read more

I will never rent from Public Storage again. My rate was raised significantly. My contract was for $169 and it was raised to $245. I realize the contract says that it can be raised but I wasn't expecting this large of an increase. The local customer service representatives are extremely rude. I wish I could afford to move my things out but I am kind of stuck because my new house isn't ready. I have everything I own in 2 units at this location and paying $420 for both units. They advertise great rates but buyer beware - you won't be paying that great rate for long. read more

My experience in this company was the worst, at the beginning they told me that the second month would be free, it was never like that, the space they gave me had mold, they told me they were going to fix it, that never happened; in 1 year the price went up 3 times , I started paying $332 and ended up with $542 I definitely don't recommend this company. read more

I had an amazing experience with your employee Crystal. I leased another unit. This is so very much better than the last one. Found out Crystal was off that day. If I was hiring I definitely would hire her. So I hope you pass this on. read more

trying to reach the office as we reserved in error. no one will call us back or refund the money.

Miss Rhonda was fantastic, she really made the whole experience for me bearable and we all know how hard moving can be lol. She really went above and beyond in every aspect to make sure our transition was smooth. The premises are very clean and extremely secure. read more

Rates keep increasing, with no new value added. My unit started at $102 two years ago, and has now increased to $180. In addition, they refuse to waive late fees when their autopay decided not to deduct properly. read more

Randy and Crystal are amazing!! I initially reserved a unit online and when I went in to look at the one that I reserved, it wasn't going to work for what I needed. Crystal offered to put me on a waiting list for a unit that would best suit my needs and while a little hesitant, I agreed. Within a few days, Randy followed up with me just to confirm what I needed and almost the next day he called me back and had an available unit for me!! Crystal was so polite and easy to work with, very professional and helpful with anything that I needed. I recommend this location to anyone that needs a great storage facility! read more

This location is awesome! My husband and I were in a pinch to find something in a hurry. Randy was so kind. He was very helpful in find options to meet our needs. He followed up like he promised he would and made sure we were taken care of. I was shocked when he called! Most businesses don't follow through on what they say they will. Randy was incredibly nice which really helped because our situation has been very stressful. The complex was clean and well maintained, but I seriously would recommend this location to anyone. read more

Randy has always been very helpful. Always willing to do what I need and help me whenever he can in whatever way he can. Easy location for me and lesser priced than some of the other units I looked at in the area. I like this location better than the Pineville location we had for many years. Would recommend this location (and Randy) to anyone that needed it! read more

Randy is the best!!! He is responsive and extremely helpful!! I have had storage here for about 2 years. While the public storage is not the cheapest they are clean, well maintained, easy to get to and dry. I do not have to worry about my property stored here which is well worth the cost. Could not say enough about the awesome service!! read more

When our home purchase was delayed we needed a solution and quick, as the cross country movers were on their way here. The driver with the cross country firm was the one who suggested Public Storage and we are glad he did! We called the closest one to our new address and they told us about their first month one dollar deal which was a prayer being answered! Then we found out they didn't have a unit big enough. Instead of just hanging up and saying "good luck", they called nearby locations until they found a unit large enough to hold our entire house. And yes we DID receive the $1.00 even for a 10x30. The semi arrived at 75 foot long and navigated the location perfectly. We highly recommend this (08538) location!!!! read more
