the property manager does not answer the phone when you call. I tired notifying them of my cancellation last month and did not get an answer. I finally got a call back once the month began and was told I had to pay for the month as I didn't cancel before the month started. Still haven't heard back from them but they also have continued to try to bill me after I've communicated I want it canceled. Replace the property manager with someone of integrity and morals. Over all storage unit was ok, billing went up from $65 to 118 a month. read more

The manager here, Jennifer, is extremely snarky and rude. They are never available by phone. Expect them to blow up your phone if you're 5 minutes late on a payment, but you will never reach a human if you call them or need help with something. The units are barely kept up with, and the staff is incredibly unhelpful. read more

Why does public storage keep increasing rent every six months. The sad thing is Public Storage are charging more than if I got a new unit of the same size. Why does public storage not consider honoring the lowest price with the current renters who have been there longer than new renters? it may be legal, but does not seem ethical, imo. In a year my rent has gone from $167 to $301.00. Units of the same size are now listed for $211. Is your business plan to lure renters with lower rates then increase the rent every six months by 30 to 40%? Just doesn't seem right. read more

STAY AWAY! They told me it was temperature controlled when i first bought the unit, it wasnt. I bought a brand new shed, had it inspected. Then moved my belongings in from this Public Storage unit and my stuff was infested with Roaches! Freaks me out!!! now i have to have my brand new shed and belongings treated and tossed out. That absolutly ticks me off. Also once you do leave their units they try to charge you for an additional month after youve already moved out and if you tell them your not paying for a unit that youve already vacated a month prior which they where already notified of, they call you and curse you out. This place is a nightmare. Ive moved around alot with my familys job so ive had plenty of expierense using storage places and this place is just....like i said....a nightmare. I have never used a storage facility before, but I was in a desperate need of one not to long ago, so I found the cheapest one online. Online check in and payment was easy peasy! They sent all of the information to me via text messages, including the passcode. Which I never used, because I found the Public Storage app that has instant access. They provide a lock and keys if you need them. Easy to navigate the storage units. They do send you a map so you can find your unit. They have multiple sizes, just pick and go. I didn't have to go inside at all once I got there. The unit was clean and just the right size for my needs. read more

We should have walked the day we saw where they wanted us to put our camper. The spot was infested with ants, overgrown and the entire lot itself looks dare I say it... trashed. Absolutely trashed. The space was so un-level that none of our Andersen leveling blocks works and the camper shifted off the tongue jack rest twice. A brand new 2021 22 feet long 10 foot high five thousand pound camper. TWICE. We tried for 2.5 hours. We finally gave up and found a lot half price, full of security cameras and lights, completely gravel, fully level, designed for 26k dollar investments. I went in public storage today to get a quote, and to ask a few questions. There was a young lady name Shanaya Williams who was awesome !!! When I signed my lease agreement I was told I was on the autopay program. Once my first month payment was due, I was under the impression it was automatically coming out of my bank account. I got an email several days after the first of the month stating I hadn't paid my rent and the there was a late fee. When I called and explained to the store manager that I was unaware that I was not on autopay and would be happy to pay my bill right then and there if they could please remove the late fee, she said she had to check with the district manager, who ultimately refused to remove the late fee and locked me out of my unit until the fee was paid. read more

GOOD PRICES, EASY CHECK IN, TERMITES This has been a bittersweet experience for me. I needed a storage locker right away to prepare for remodeling and staging of my house and my family has used Public Storage for years so I thought I should use them as well. I went to this location and the price for a climate controlled unit was just right. The unit was large and spacious as advertised. The rental process was nice and fast; Monica really knows her stuff and knows how to make best use of the customers time. I really appreciate that aspect of the whole process; unfortunately there have been some hiccups throughout this experience. We had a fairly significant maintenance request with our unit that took about a month to resolve after multiple phone calls and face to face conversations with the property management; it wasn't until I posted a negative review on Google and Yelp that I finally received some traction on my request. The general manager finally contacted me and personally apologized for the delay and didn't offer excuses. He had someone out to repair the unit the next day and called me to verify that the job had been done. He was very apologetic and assured me that he would ensure that these types of things don't happen in the future. When we were making preparations to move items out of our unit some termites decided to make a nest in one of our boxes that was right where the repairs to the unit were made. Some of the contents of the boxes had to be thrown out due to termite damage. I notified the general manager about this issue and he called an exterminator to resolve this issue, however they failed to notify me of this and the exterminator was unable to do anything. We were moving out so we no longer cared. We just wanted this whole experience behind us. I also told the general manager that very few of the external lights for the property were working making it unsafe for anyone to be on the property at night; especially when the rear gate is often left wide open after hours. As of 5/22/2015 the lighting has not yet been repaired. In summary: I would recommend these guys with reservations. The leasing process was SUPER smooth and efficient; Monica took her time to explain everything in detail to make sure it was understandable. The facility needs some help with lighting repairs and wall repairs, the units are spacious and the prices are right! If your unit needs maintenance, let them know and see what happens; I wouldn't count on any immediate response. I know that they really value their online ratings and I was able to get action from them by posting a negative review. I guess I am the 1 in 60 who had a unit with an issue. read more

I have been to other storage facilities that have a dumpster for customer use. I have 2storage unites at this particular storage facility and yes, they do have a dumpster, but it is not for customer use. These units are not cheap and I know I am not the only customer that occasionally has to throw something away, so I don't understand the reason for not allowing us use of the dumpster. Unless, oh yeah, the owner is extremely greedy and doesn't want to have to pay to have the dumpster cleared more often. read more

Charged me twice for the first month, then wanted to charge me a third time because of computer errors. Wouldn't let me have access to my stuff in the unit until they figured out that they had in fact been paid twice already. They did refund the over charges, but never apologized. They never did give me any paperwork and never sent a bill until after they charged me a late fee. Nice enough people at the local store but corporate customer service is terrible. I moved my stuff out in just over a month because of the terrible service. I would rather leave my stuff outside under a tarp than to deal with this business again. There are lots of choices for storage in the area , so give your business to someone else. read more

A few quick words about this company, thier facility, my experience and the extra effort displayed. DeWanna (29707) was absolutely fabulous. I had a problem early where I figured I did not lease a unit large enough. She advised of policy, placed me on hold and made the exception because she listened to my situation. NO ONE listens and responds like she did anymore. It was refreshing. Then, thinking the move in/out would take about 4 hours, it was clear my timing was WAAAAAY off. I called as I was advised. I called at 4:40PM, no one answered. I left a v/m knowing this was going to end badly. 3 minutes later, a call came back to me from DeWanna again. She gave me 24 hour access. But she didn't have to call back and make the changes but she did. And mostly, speaking with her, she was so friendly, so courteous, and efficient. Finally, I found this to be an excellent company with great people, great facilities who actually displayed that they cared about someone in a pinch. I am extremely grateful for this which is why I decided to write the reference here. A job well done. And again, thank you so much for all the kindness and respect displayed. They will make you purchase one of their locks for $12 upon sign up. There are other hidden fees as well. You will have to purchase their monthly insurance plans to cover the cost of your things in the event of a disaster. Your monthly rent will not be what it states online. They will raise prices whenever they feel like it and you will have to pay it or move your things out with a 30 day notice. They will charge you a $20 late fee for a $50 unit and I was only a week late. I'm not even sure when the fee was added. The staff was friendly and helpful upon sign-up and the units seem fairly clean. read more
