We never know how much will be donated so we rely on 2 storage units at Morningstar to house the overflow. We like the facility for several reasons. First, the management is easy to work with and has been very generous over the years, donating one of the two units to us, saving us one our costs. Second, the facility is convenient to our location and has many carts available for hauling our goods to our units. And finally, the facility is very clean and secure. We would highly recommend Morningstar Storage at Lake Wylie!

While planning our move from West to East Coast, we encountered countless issues in trying to reserve (and/or pay for) a storage unit. All our troubles stopped the minute we spoke with Steve! Such a great experience! We also had the opportunity to meet Mitch. He too wanted to ensure our needs were met and everything went smoothly. It has been a pleasure doing business with Steve and Mitch. Without question, we would recommend those searching for a storage place, stop by or call. Over the years, I've worked with several storage facilities and regardless of which coast Steve and Mitch are by far top notch!

My apartment paid for the move and I truly believe they took advantage of that and could care less about the residents being we didn't pay ourselves. The move out seemed okay but this was my experience at move in. They took all of our large items apart when leaving but completely failed to put them back together at move-in. Worse, they lost the hardware and slats to my bed and broke a leg on the frame. They also completely lost the hardware from my brand-new baby crib that had never even been used. On top of the damage, we are missing multiple critical boxes and items: Bathroom box: Our ONLY bathroom box containing our shower curtains, rugs, picture frame and other essentials. Kitchen items: A box with our dish drying rack, oven mitts, and some pantry foods. Kids' items: A foldable toy chest filled with old and some brand-new toys my kids just received for their birthdays the month we moved. To make matters worse, the company is lying to dodge accountability. They claim we told the crew not to assemble the furniture. I wasn't even present, and my husband was at work, only arriving at the tail end of the move after coming to get the apartment keys. When he immediately noticed items were missing and questioned the movers, they claimed they would "check the truck and storage." My husband even had to point out that they were bringing in random items that belonged to other neighbors because the crew was so disorganized. When we filled out the damage form, they simply stated that their "crew records show everything was returned and nothing was damaged," and told us "there is nothing they can do." They are unprofessional, completely unaccountable, and left my family missing essential household items and toys for my children. I understand if I said our tvs and electronics and things like that were all messed up but these are small daily items and hardware for our beds so we can sleep comfortably. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!

My initial experience with this storage facility was okay; however, my opinion changed due to the…read morerepeated phone calls and pressure to leave a review. Within approximately two months, my monthly storage rate increased from $140 to $200, which was a significant and unexpected increase. I was also repeatedly encouraged to leave a review and was told that, as a favor, a fee for one month would be waived in connection with providing a review. Given the timing of the rate increase and the continued pressure to submit a review, the entire experience left me very uncomfortable. The facility itself is clean and well maintained, but the tactics used to obtain customer reviews felt excessive and unprofessional. Customers should be able to leave feedback voluntarily without repeated phone calls, pressure, or feeling as though their rates or fees could somehow be connected to whether they provide a review. Unfortunately, what started as an acceptable experience ended on a very disappointing note.

From the moment I checked in, she made me feel like more than just a customer--she makes you feel like family. She was incredibly thorough and professional when walking me through the setup process, and I felt completely at ease leaving both my personal information and my belongings in her care. What really stood out, though, was how personal she made the experience. When I came back the very next day to drop off another load, she saw me in passing and called me by name. That level of attention and warmth is rare and speaks volumes. Miss Roslyn is kind, patient, and clearly takes pride in what she does. It's more than just a job to her, and it shows. I truly appreciate how she went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and welcoming. Highly recommend Bee Safe Storage--and if you get to work with Miss Roslyn, you're in GREAT hands.
